Topic: Be Effectual In Prayer

Text: …The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much ( James 5:16).

Elijah accomplished many things, but we find a
clue that connects his amazing anointing to his
prayer life. James 5:16 says that the effectual,
fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth
much. The Amplified Bible says this fervent
prayer “makes tremendous power available.” In
the Greek, “effectual fervent” is one single word
—energeo, meaning full of energy, working
active, and white hot. Our prayers need to be full
of energy—spirit, soul, and body. While there is a
place for quiet, calm prayer, there is also a time
for expressive prayer where your whole being
gets into it. In the verses to follow, it talks about
how Elijah was a normal person just like us. He
prayed that it would not rain for six months and
then prayed again for rain to return. If you read
the account in First Kings 18:41-44, you find
Elijah threw himself on the ground in prayer with
his head between his knees. This indicates a
very intense, expressive form of prayer.
While we don’t need to pray this way all the
time, we also can’t eliminate it either. There are
different expressions of prayer needed for
different things, and we need to be open to
them. Some expressions may include walking,
laying face down, lifting your voice, and so forth.
Just be open because the Lord needs prayer
where you will express yourself!

*PRAYER*

Holy Spirit, teach me how to move in different
realms in prayer and be open to different
expressions so that I may be used effectively in
prayer. I thank You that my prayers make great
power available! In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Topic :  Pressing On By Faith

Text:   "If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength
is small" (Proverbs 24:10).

Some battles take longer to overcome than
others. It’s the ones that take longer to reach
victory that tempt you to give up in your stance
of faith. Just because a doubtful thought arises
in your mind does not mean you have fainted.
Many people in Scripture had momentary doubts
but still experienced the greatest miracles
because they pressed
on in faith. Mark 11:23 says that if you tell
mountains to be removed and don’t doubt in your
heart, it will happen. Doubtful thoughts are not
doubt from the heart. You can take control of
simple thoughts and redirect them back to the
Word of God where they can’t take root in your
heart. Just because you had a bad day or felt
discouraged in your faith does not mean you
have fainted. Doubt in your heart begins when
you start verbalizing fears and doubts to the
point where they form your mind-set. People
who faint always talk about it first and usually
quite often. Some even become resistant to
those who try to encourage them to hang in
there.
Don’t quit on the things you are praying for
today. Sure, it’s okay to go to God and reassess
your battle plan, but the key is stay in there with
the Lord and you will not faint.

PRAYER

Father, I will not faint on the things I am praying
for today. I refuse to give in to any doubtful
thought, and I tell my mind to focus on God’s
Word and His promises. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

“Know that the vision and dream that I have
placed in your heart will come to pass. And
know that the process toward its fulfillment is
preparing you for it. So don’t give up, says the
Lord. For the things I have put in your heart will
not delay.”

So every power causing delays to the fulfilment of your dreams is shattered

Topic: Your Vision Will Come To Pass

Text:  "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it
hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly
come, it will not delay" (Habakkuk 2:3 NASB).

We all have dreams the Lord has put in our
hearts that we want to see come to pass. I
remember, when we first started in ministry,
receiving a prophecy by a prominent minister
about how we would have a worldwide ministry spreading the Fragrance of His knowledge everywhere
and bear much fruit. We were ready, or so we
thought, to take on the world! Little did we know
that the fulfillment of that vision wasn’t going to
happen until many years later. In fact, shortly
after the prophecy, we took what seemed to be a
giant step backward! We were wondering, “Lord,
how can this be?” We didn’t know that God had
an appointed time for the vision He gave us. We
first had to walk through the preparation season by years of training in the Bible School and serving under seasoned ministers of God .
Yet all along, the vision was developing right
under our noses and we didn’t even know it!
Never forget that what seems like delay may not
be that at all. Sure, the enemy likes to interfere
and slow things down, but God will see to it that
the vision happens right on time. Realize that
today is getting you ready for tomorrow. You are
moving toward your vision, so stay in faith.
Surely, the vision comes and won’t delay!

PRAYER
Father, I know the vision You have put in my
heart will surely come to pass. I thank You for
taking this time to prepare me, for I know the
vision shall not delay! Amen.

Topic: The Return Of The Glory

Text: "…Then the house was filled with a cloud, even the
house of the Lord; so that the priests could not
stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the
glory of the Lord had filled the house of God" (2
Chronicles 5:13-14).

There was a day not many years ago when
people talked about the glory cloud filling
churches. People testified of when it rolled in,
and as it gradually covered each row of people
they would fall under the power of God. It would
fill the room until everyone was on the floor. I
believe if we are not careful, we are on verge of
losing that dimension of the supernatural in our
worship gatherings. Worship bands have to be
careful not to become too professional, just
singing the most popular songs. Worshipers must
enter in and be willing to linger when the
anointing is present.
God is looking right now for people and churches
that will allow room for that level of the
anointing. Second Chronicles 5:13 says the glory
fell when all the singers and musicians came
into an undistracted place of unity in their
thanksgiving. We need to make more room for
the glory to descend upon our worship services
once again. Intercede for God to raise up houses
of worship who will emulate Heaven so that we
can say once again, “The cloud has returned.”

PRAYER

Lord, I ask You to raise up houses of worship that
will emulate Heaven and make room for the glory.
Teach me how to become a true worshiper and
cause Your Church to say once again. Amen.

SPEAK PEACE OVER YOUR DESCENDANTS

Topic: Speaking Peace Over Your Descendants

Text: "For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king
Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and
accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking
the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to
all his seed" (Esther 10:3).

When the Lord gave Mordecai a position as
second-in-command over the providences of King
Ahasuerus (Xerxes), Mordecai made a point to
see to the welfare of the Jews and his own
personal descendants. One key way he did that
was by giving them a peace declaration. In
Esther 10:3, the King James says “speaking
peace to all his seed.” The Amplified says it
similarly. Some other translations say he spoke
up for their welfare. I believe both angles apply.
Mordecai had the position to not only give voice
to the people’s needs, but he also spoke over
them in such a way that it set their course in
peace.
As God’s people, we have been given authority to
form the future
of both our natural and in many cases spiritual
descendants. Parents can do it for their children.
Pastors can do so for their congregations, and so
forth. We provide peace to our descendants in
two key ways. First, look out for their benefit.
Create an environment where they will enjoy
personal fulfillment and growth. Second, speak
peace over them and to them. Declare their lives
will be blessed and full of abundance. As the
person who God has positioned, you have a
divine gift to form their future. Stand up today
and speak peace to your descendants.

PRAYER
Father, I decree peace over my descendants
today. I say their future will be full of the peace
of God, and I commit to create for them a positive
environment of peace. Amen.
