The Sovereign LORD says today that My love is endless and My grace is unfathomable in your life. I am not that hard to get along with. I am not an austere God sitting on the throne of heaven hurling lightning bolts of judgment against you. If you are going to truly know who I am then you are going to have to relentlessly jettison from your life the widespread and false understandings of who I am not. I am not the author of confusion. I am not the point of origin for suffering in your life. I am not unkind or unmerciful. I do not hold Myself aloof from your pain or withdraw from you in times of suffering. All of these things have been taught in My name by those who claim to have the authority to impose upon you their understanding of My character. They have Me all wrong.

I am a good God and a loving God. I am patient with you beyond any human metric. I brood over your life constantly to bring forth life and light and blessing. Every breath that you breathe is a direct gift from My hand. I have crafted your destiny and written all your days in My book. I have no plans to hurt or harm you in any way. I love you because I love you. I have provided the grace of Calvary to set you free from every aspect of your character that conflicts with My nature. I have provided you all things that pertain to life and godliness. Be willing to receive the transformation of your character as well as the transformation of your circumstances. Sin is a reality in the human condition and you are not exempt - however I have afforded you forgiveness, repentance and transforming grace to stamp you with My image and remove every vestige of transgression and iniquity from your heart. Trust Me and receive Me on My own terms and know Me as I truly am for I have come through for you and I am moving in your life in a radical way this day.

Topic: God Knows Your Name

Text: "And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a
man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of
custom… (Matthew 9:9)."

If you read through the different Gospel accounts
of when Jesus called Matthew, His disciple, they
each tell a slightly different but similar story. In
Luke’s account, it records Jesus seeing a
publican named Levi (see Luke 5:27-28).
Publicans were considered sinners, and the name
Levi comes from the Hebrew name for the
Levites, which means to be twined. It speaks of
the intertwining seen between borrowing and
lending and obviously the bondage involved with
the two. Mark’s account of Jesus’
call to Matthew is similar in that he is also
referred to as Levi (see Mark 2:14). Notice how
both Mark and Luke see Matthew as the publican
named Levi, which indicates they saw him as an
insignificant individual.
However, Matthew’s account of himself is much
different. Matthew says Jesus saw a man. He
didn’t see a publican or sinner, He saw a person.
Then he notes that Jesus saw Matthew. The
name Matthew means gift. He didn’t see Levi,
the person intertwined with problems. Jesus saw
a real human being, a gifted individual with great
potential, named Matthew.
That revelation propelled Matthew, this one-time
publican, into Kingdom greatness. Realize that
your name is known in Heaven today and Jesus
sees a special person who is being propelled into
Kingdom greatness!

PRAYER
Lord, I thank You that my name is special in
heaven. You know me by name! Even the angels,
when they hear my name spoken, are working to
help me. Thank You, Lord, for the peace of
knowing that my name is always recognized!

The Sovereign LORD says today take your eyes off of man and keep them on Me. Man will disappoint you. Man will misinform you. Man will fall short of My glory oftentimes says the Father but make it your determination that your confidence and your expectation will be anchored in who I am in your life and not any other resource. Know that I work in the midst of human frailty and human failure. Do not deprecate yourself or despise yourself because you have not achieved or accomplished those things that only I can bring about. I am working and I am determining and you can trust My timing. The timing of heaven will never come up short in your behalf. I will be on time and on target with My blessings in your life as you align yourself with My heart and My purposes and not seeking after the good opinion of those who are not part of what I am doing where you are concerned.

Lift up the hands that hang down. Refuse to be discouraged. Refuse to look to the right hand or to the left. The hand of man cannot save you. The hand of man cannot redeem. Though a tower would be built up to heaven to accomplish some great feat the end result will only be confusion and dispersion and scattering. Stay focused upon what I am doing and saying at all times. Find the secret place where My voice will be heard and not another. Get quiet before Me. I will speak to you most clearly in the silence between your own thoughts. Trust Me and walk in love toward those around you. Let My love flow through you in unconditional measure. Do not parcel out your love only to those who can repay or recompense. Love lavishly. Give generously. Determine in every interaction to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Go out in your day - every day in this month to be someone's answer to prayer. Come up higher. Come up into the rarified atmosphere of My favor and you will see and know and experience that metric of My goodness that is beyond anything you have ever reckoned in the narrative of your life.

Topic: The benefits of Christ Ascension

Text: Hebrews 4:14

"We have a great high priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God"

After the resurrection of Jesus is the ascension. It marks the occasion when the risen Christ ascended to the father in glory. Though this part of the eternal work of salvation is often neglected and not taken to heart, but its a great factor in the life of Christ and Christians, and no complete view of Jesus Christ is possible unless the ascension and its consequences are included. What does the ascension mean to the believer? (a) Its speaks of an accomplished work of redemption (Hebrew 8:1). (b) It shows the Saviour's high priestly work (Hebrew 4:14) (c) It manifests His Lordship over the Church(Ephesian 1:22) (d) It talks of His intercession for us with His heavenly father( 1Timothy 2:'15). (e) It makes the way for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost (Act 2:33) (f) And the assurance of the Lord's presence with us today(1Thessalonian 4:6)
Think of it! Jesus did not only die but He rose again from the grave, went back to the father and He is interceding for us right now. And He is coming back again. May the remembrance of just not His resurrection but also His ascension be a time for special rejoicing and Thanksgiving, because the Jesus who died to save us now lives to save us.

PRAYER
Father, i commit my life totally to you, let the benefits of Christ ascension be a reality in my life and family in Jesus name.

The Sovereign LORD says today stand fast. Stand fast in your confidence. No longer flailing away at circumstances that are beyond your control. I did not call you to be in control. I called you to a place of quiet trust in what I promised you in the midst of challenge. You can choose manipulation and fleshly dominion or you can accept the authority I give that only flows through humility and deference to My plan for your life. It is time to stop acting in the power of the flesh and begin walking in the power of My Spirit. The goals and purposes that have so long eluded you will suddenly become real probabilities when you come into that place of new and fresh yieldedness to Me.

I am the God who is able. My ability is an extension of your faith and trust in Me. There is no disability in Me. I am not impotent therefore you are not impotent. I am not powerless or incapable. Draw upon who I am on the inside of you and see the change come that you have cried out for. Refuse to see yourself any other way for you are in Me and I am in you. What you have purposed to do in life cannot be founded upon your small estimation of your limited human strength. Set your sights and your expectations on what only I am capable of bringing about and you will have then some semblance of that wonderful thing that I have in store for you in your future.

Topic: Marked For  A Purpose

Text: 2 Corinthians 1:21-22(NIV)

"Now it is God who makes both us and you stand
firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of
ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts
as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come "

When Jacob wrestled all night with the angel, his
thigh was thrown out of joint in such a dramatic
way that it permanently marked Jacob’s life (see
Gen. 32:24-32). It caused him to call the place in
which it happened Peniel, which means face of
God. Jacob described it saying, “I have seen God
face to face, and my life is preserved” (Gen.
32:30). He had an encounter with God that
“marked” his thigh, which became the mark of a
divine purpose. That purpose was seen when his
name Jacob (deceiver) was changed to Israel
(God prevails). He went from being a deceiver to
one who represented the prevailing power of God
as the offspring that ultimately became the
nation of Israel.
God has marked you for a purpose today. He so
believes in you that He has placed a seal of
ownership on you to show you His guarantee. It
doesn’t matter what others say you cannot do;
even if they laugh at you now, know that God
sees who you will be. Stand firm in that today!

PRAYER
Lord, I know that I am marked for a purpose in
this life. Through You, I am going to accomplish
great things. You have anointed me, and I ask
that You will help me stand confident in who I am
in You today! Amen.
