TOPIC: FORCEFUL ADVANCEMENTS

TEXT: “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: but lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea” (Exodus 14:14-16).

Our God is a fighter and He always uses simple strategies to win great battles. In our text, Israel was confronted with a challenge that stagnated their faith; they were hedged in between what one can call ‘the devil and bloody red sea’. With nowhere to go Moses cried to the Lord and He told Moses to divide the sea using the rod in his hand. There is something the Lord will want you to do to surmount the odds against your advancement in life.

Many years ago, there was a point in our lives that it seemed like there was one storm after another. I am sure every believer can say “ditto” to that! We felt like we were in a tornado with only moments of relief. Our pastor back then gave us some simple but incredible wisdom. He said, “Though there are many storms, there is only one devil.” That really took the magnitude out of our problems. The devil was behind all of it and we needed to use our authority and keep pressing forward. Sometimes, our tendency is to retreat or beg God. In the Scripture above, the Lord told Moses, “Why are you crying to Me? Use your rod, Moses, and go forward!” God knew He had put authority in Moses’ rod! We have been given our rod of authority through Jesus’ Name. Ephesians 2:6 says we are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all evil powers and might. So don’t retreat from the devil today, just raise your rod of authority and move forward! What the enemy wants to use to keep you down the Lord will use it to lift you up. Rise up and say like the great adventurers 'And today we sail on'. You will get there!

Take deliberate steps forward in the direction of the fulfillment of your destiny

WORD CONFESSION
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day that my life is moving forward regardless of the circumstances and happenstances my life. My stumbling blocks are become my stepping stones in Jesus name

TOPIC: TURNING YOUR PAIN TO PRAISE

TEXT:  "God granted him his request…” (1 Chro.4:10)

The name Jabez means ‘a cause of pain’ but it was a label he refused to wear and a prophecy he refused to fulfill. And you should too. Just because someone calls you a failure doesn’t make it so. The Bible says you were in God’s mind before you were in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-15).

So who are you going to believe? Jabez wouldn’t let his beginning dictate his end. He refused to allow his family to put him down and his barriers to keep him in so he prayed thus: “O that thou would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep from harm and God granted him his request. God has told us it’s our year of breaking forth. That means we need to break out and become boundry crossers! Instead of settling for less, let us start believing for more. More of God’s wisdom, more strength, more victory, more prosperity, more favour, more character, and much more!  The story of Jabez started with pain but ended in praise because God granted him his heart desire. If God granted Jabez his request I believe He will not deny you. Get ready for good days ahead!

TOPIC: DIVINE APPROVAL

TEXT:.  "We have been approved by God" (1 Thessalonia 2:4).

Living in the approval of God is so liberating! It frees you from approval addiction, worrying about what others think. When you are addicted, no matter how much of your drug of choice you never get enough of it. And like all junkies, you go crazy when the drug is withheld. Approval addicts are always at the mercy of other people's opinion. As a result their lives become an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows. Paul was free to speak the truth in love to confront people, or be gentle with them. When someone told Paul they didn't like him, he didn't lose sleep over it. That's because his life wasn't built on their approval. 'We have been aprroved by God'. Paul didn't go around needing to (a) compare himself with others (b) demostrate his superiority (c) impress or compete with others (d) be the top do or the one that's always in charge.
Living in God's approval set him free from such ulcer inducing anxiety amd meant he could enjoy the life God called him to live. When we are young and insecure we tend to worry about what others thinks of us. But as we become more mature, we realise that most of the time they weren't thinking about us at all. They were too busy worrying about what we thought of them!
Living in God's approval frees us from all that stress. It gives us the strength to deal with critism and conflict, because we know our indentity. And our identity is this: we are God's redeemed children. And since we are accepted and approved by Him, nothing else matters!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Today walk in the confidence that you have been approved by God

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Therefore I declare today that I walk in God's approval, the heaven and Earth shall answer to me in Jesus name.

TOPIC: OVERCOMING BAD DREAMS

TEXT: "Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes"(Proverbs 3:25)

All of us have had one bad dream or the other, perhaps we are falling from a high building, fleeing from from masquerades or hideous creatures, or worse seeing dead relatives in our dreams. The fears that some of these dreams create can be overwhelming. The fact is, the name of Jesus has freed us from every form of fear.
We read in John 6 that Jesus' disciples were afraid when in the dimness of the nightfall they saw a strange figure walking on the stormy sea of Galilee. But the mysterious figure was not part of the bad dream--He was real. Matthew reports that they " cried out for fear"(14:26). Then the disciples heard a familiar voice: "It is I; do not be afraid"(John 6:20). It was Jesus. Their fears were calmed, as well as the sea.
The saviour speaks the same assurance to us today amid the many fears in our christian journey. Solomon said"The name of the Lord is strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe" (Proverbs 18:20).
Fears will come, but we are assured that Jesus is always the a light in the darkness.
You need not fear the darkness, if you are walking with the light of the world.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Cancel every bad dream with the blood of Jesus Christ

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am free from the effects of bad dreams. I celebrate Christ victory over the works of the enemy in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

Father God, thank you for being my tower of refuge. I hide me and my family in glory in Jesus name.

*Father God , I command  that every evil decrees over my life and family through dreams are cancelled by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

*Father God, I reverse every evil manipulation of my life through dreams in Jesus name

TOPIC:  PAYBACK BLESSING

TEXT:   "For your shame ye shall have double; and for
confusion they shall rejoice in their portion:
therefore in their land they shall possess the
double: everlasting joy shall be unto them" (Isaiah
61:7).

God always gives back to us when we give to Him. This becomes even more powerful when we give to God from a place of great sacrifice.

Sometimes the sacrifice is being ridiculed by family and friends for what you believe, but God will stand up for you. He won’t let you be accused or mistreated for serving Him without bringing a payback blessing into your life, and those blessings come with a double price tag attached to them! God pays double when we are willing to be shamed for following His ways. God considers your work for His Kingdom important, and while we do it
joyfully with gratitude God does see how much effort you put into it. While we don’t arrogantly expect payback from God because He has already given us everything, we know God is a giver. He first gave Jesus, and then we give back to Him through our love and heart of unconditional service. For that service, God then gives to us again, and the cycle keeps going! His promise is that you will not suffer shame without possessing a double blessing in your life. So get ready, the double blessing is coming your way.

TOPIC: SECURING HELP AGAINST TEMPTATIONS

TEXT: “He is able to help us when we are being tempted” (Heb.2:18)

We all face one adverse situation or the other at certain seasons of our live. Regardless of what we are going through the Lord’s eyes are upon us and His power is available to strengthen us. If you are facing temptations of any type today below are seven scriptures that will fortify you:

(1)   “The temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you the way out so you can endure” (1Cor.10:13NLT). So wait and let God show you the way out!
(2)  “I give unto you power…over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luk.10:13). You are more capable than you think! You have the power for ultimate victory
(3)  “The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet…the grace (Strength and enablement) of the Lord Jesus be with you” (Rom.16:20NLT). Tap into the grace of God
(4)  “Use every piece of God’s armour so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil; so that after the battle you will be standing firm (Eph.6:13NLT).
(5)  “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed; for I am your God, I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isa.41:10NLT). Hold on never give up on your faith.
(6)  “The high priest of ours understands our weakness, for He faced all of the same temptations we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it”(Heb.4:15,16NLT). Let go and let God. Give Him your struggles and He will give you His peace
(7)  “The Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trial”(2Pet.2:9). Sheep are wise; when the wolf comes they just move closer to the shepherd. The same goes for you. Move close to God!

Deliberately see your situation in the light of the above scriptures and be strengthened.

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that the joy of the LORD is my strength. I rise above every circumstance and situations the enemy is making to happen around me. By the power of God, I rise above trial and temptations in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, I receive divine enablement to stand against the wiles of the enemy in Jesus name

TOPIC: DEVELOP YOUR SKILL

TEXT: “Do you see a man skillful in His work? He will stand  before kings…

The cornerstone of success is skillfulness. Skill is the ability to do something well. And it comes by study, practice and hard work. Second best is unacceptable. Skillfulness puts you in hot demand, you don’t take back seat for anyone (Pro.22:25). Contrary to believes, skillfulness isn’t genetic, you don’t inherit it, you work hard for it, you burn the mid-night oil, you stretch yourself to your limits and refuse to settle for mediocrity. When you watch a skilled craftsman, your esteem rises at their attention to details, refusal to cut corners, patience, dedication and pride of production. Such people inspire confidence, respect and trust.

Genuine Christianity is showcased by been skilled worker for God when you speak people listen. If you go to town you see people with gifts but lack the necessary skill to use the gift so they push out shoddy, second rated products. At the end they don’t excel and their voices not heard.
Whatever your work, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him (Col.3:17). As a representative of Christ we should be an epitome of excellence in the things we do. Knowing that we follow Christ, we should give employers and customers’ confidence they will get nothing but the best. The skillful person can’t lose, because God promises that their work will eventually attract attention of people who will promote and reward them. “do you see a man skilled in his work? he will stand before kings” where you stand among men is a product of the skills you possess. You might start in a corner but you will end up on the global stage. You might start at the bottom of the ladder but your destination is higher up.
