TOPIC: CULTIVATE  A JOYFUL ATTITUDE

TEXT: "But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you". —Psalm 5:11 NIV

Creating a joyful attitude is a choice. In other words things will happen that ordinarily should make you lose your joy but you have a choice to let your joy go with whatever you lost or with to remain joyful regardless.

How can you learn to create a joyful attitude in your life day by day?

* Learn not to take yourself too seriously. If you’re able to realize that God is on the throne, then your problems are not permanent.
* Relax. The Bible says that no temptation comes against you except what is common to man. God is on the throne.
* Hold fast to joy so fear cannot take root. When you lose your joy, fear will move in.
* Remain fully aware of the glorious liberty that is yours in Christ. The Bible says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

These are very important principles. Life is not always easy, but God is always good. Living for Christ is not easy, but God has promised to make a way for us. He is the Guiding Light that leads us.

Whatever the price, it will be worth it! The joy of the Lord is your strength. Keep on keeping on.

Rejoice in the LORD all the way this new month

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that the joy is bursting forth in me. I rejoice in the name and the goodness of the LORD my God in Jesus name.

*Father God, I receive the oil of joy and gladness in the place of the Spirit of heaviness in Jesus name

"Father God, as I rejoice in your goodness, let your goodness be multiplied in my life and destiny in Jesus name

*Father God, I command every of sorrow through bad news back fire now in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name.
