COMMANDING SIGNS AND WONDERS

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)

Friday 20th September 2019

TOPIC: COOMANDING SIGNS AND WONDERS

TEXT: “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following” (Mark 16:20).

The preaching of the gospel is heaven’s pass for us to manifest His power on earth.
Jesus didn’t send us out into the world to live an ordinary powerless life.
When Jesus came to the earth preaching the Kingdom, signs and wonders followed Him to confirm for those who heard Him that He was anointed and sent from God. Matthew 4:23 says, “And Jesus went about…preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” When He preached the Word, signs followed Him. Then when He sent forth His apostles to preach in Matthew 10:1, He gave them power to cast out demons and heal sickness. After Pentecost, the early apostles continued to preach, and signs and wonders followed the preaching of the Word. That same mandate has not ended, and we need signs to follow the preaching of the Word more than ever.
We need to expect signs and wonders to follow our lives as we share the Gospel with people we meet. God does not expect us to present a powerless Gospel that doesn’t promise any tangible results. We all meet people on a regular basis who need real miracles. We need to feel confident to tell them that God heals and delivers and can do the miraculous in their life. Know that God will confirm your word with strange signs and wonders today!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Be bold in representing Jesus Christ today knowing that He is at work in you and through you.

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day that as I speak Your Word, signs and wonders will follow and confirm it. I receive the anointing that helps people receive real miracles and real results. In Jesus name

FAVOUR TIME

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)
                                                   Thursday 19th September 2019

TOPIC: FAVOUR TIME!

TEXT “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come” (Psalms 102:13).

Favour is a divine tool by which God gets His harvest into this hands of His people.
We are in a prophetic season in which God has promised to perform that ‘good thing’ He has promised us (See Jeremiah 33:14 kjv). Therefore right now we should expect the favour of God to be upon us. It is going to open amazing doors for the Church and cause many people who have hardened their hearts in the past to turn to the Lord. In the Bible, when God placed His favor upon His people it caused nations to tremble and prosperity was always attached to it. We need to live every day expecting to see God’s favour! Expect amazing doorz to open up and people to give things to you that you didn't ask for. When God gives you favour with people it is so we can tell them about the Lord and further God’s Kingdom in the earth. Begin to talk about favour every day. Rather than expect rejection all the time, begin to believe that people will accept you and receive you when you present the Gospel to them. Begin to expect favor in business dealings during this season. Expect finances to grow and increase. See many coming to the Lord and filling our churches. When we expect favour, we will step into the harvest of good things Lord has ordained for this season and time. If we expect nothing, we may miss some of the greatest blessings the Lord has prophetically programmed into this month and this year. Yes, this is your set time to connect to the good things promised you and to stand in the favour of the Lord!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Go into this day with the confidence that God will cause His favour to be upon all that you do this day.

WORD CONFESSION
I am evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and is at work. Today I declare that I receive your favor right now! I walk in favor in my workplace, at home, and in every place I go. I receive the increase of favor and by it I connect to the harvest of good things that God has promised me for this season I believe new doors are opening In Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father of grace thank you for your grace and mercy that has brought me and mine family into this new week in Jesus name

*Father God, decorate and flavor my life with your favour in Jesus name

*Father God, let the fragrance of favour rest on my life as I go into this day in Jesus name

*Father God let your favour announce me at the point of my destiny fulfillment in Jesus name

*Father God, let your favour and mercy overrule any negative decision concerning my career and destiny in Jesus name

*Father God, by your favour, connect me this day to the helpers of my joy in Jesus name

*Father God, let every garment of resistance and disfavor on my life be destroyed by fire in Jesus name

*Father God, let every aura of resistance and disfavor around me disappear by fire in Jesus name

*Father God, as I go into this day, connect me to the harvest of good things by your favour in Jesus name

*Father God, settle ………………………….....
today by your miracle working power in Jesus name

*Thank you heavenly Father God for decorating my life with your favour today  in Jesus name

TERMINATING WARFARE BY WORSHIP

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)

Wednesday 18th September  2019

TOPIC :  TERMINATING WARFARE BY WORSHIP

TEXT  "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so
that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and
everyone’s bands were loosed"(,Acts 16:26)

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were in prison with their feet and hands in stocks, while their backs were bleeding from a beating they had received earlier for preaching Christ. Without a doubt, they
were uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. While their situation may have appeared hopeless, they
didn’t complain and question God as to why He allowed them to go through this trying time.
Instead, they chose to worship the Lord in the middle of their pain, in the middle of their darkest moment. When all hope seemed lost, they praised the Lord with joy! Instead of looking at the chains and prison walls, they saw a God who is not bound by prison doors! Because of that, God stepped in with sudden and immediate intervention. Stop seeing your prison walls today. Stop seeing your impossibilities and look to a God who can deliver you from your most trying situations as you worship Him. Praise Him today and every day, then see the power of God’s sudden intervention today

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Take your eyes off whatever makes you stop and start celebrating God's faithfulness.

FAITH FOR TRANSFORMATION

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)

Thursday 12th September 2019

TOPIC:  FAITH FOR TRANSFORMATION

TEXT: "NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation,
the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of the things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real
fact what is not revealed to the senses]"  (Hebrews
11:1 AMP).

One of the main foundations to our Christianity
is believing in what we are yet to see with our
physical eyes. That begins with believing in Jesus even while we cannot see Him physically.
However, that shouldn’t be our only experience with faith. We need to have faith in all of God’s promises this way. We believe them without
question until they manifest in our lives.
Hebrews 11:1 says faith becomes all the proof we need. It’s the title deed that the answer exists and belongs to us. We can build that kind of faith by reading God’s Word and getting it into
our hearts (see Rom. 10:17). When you read and meditate regularly on the written promises of God, they begin to become just as real to you as if you were seeing them with your natural eye.
When we build that kind of faith in us, eventually we live out what we believe internally. This is the kind of faith we need when the enemy is putting pressure on us. Let faith become your irrefutable proof today!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Today activate your faith and put it to work.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work.  Today I declare the promises of God concerning shall not return unfulfilled, I have the answers i need, overflowing grace and joy is my portion in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, I thank you for your infallible word at work in life and destiny in Jesus name.

*Father God, cause me to experience your transformative power in every area of my life in Jesus name

*Father God, let the door of supernatural manifestations be open unto me this day in Jesus name

*Father God, by your faithfulness , confirm your word in life today with miracles, signs and wonders in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name

NOTHING COMPARES TO GOD'S SOLUTIONS

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)

Sunday 8th September 2019

TOPIC: NOTHING COMPARES TO GOD'S SOLUTIONS

TEXT: "To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness
will ye compare unto him?" (Isaiah 40:18)

We live in an information age. You can click on the Internet for just about anything that you want to research, and with the click of a finger find countless facts and opinions on any subject. While this and other resources can be helpful, we have to be careful that we are not letting all the
information out there interfere with our reliance on God. Even as dedicated Christians, our human nature side sometimes wants a human resource. In other words, we want to hear what another person has to say. For example, sometimes we want to hear what public opinion is on health issues rather than trust God’s healing promises. We want to look at all the factual ways to fix our family lives, but we sometimes ignore that it’s prayer and Bible time as family that keeps us united. Again, while not all information out there is bad, we need to make what God has to say our first priority. We need to determine that His promises outweigh even what good advice and natural solutions have to offer. When it comes right down to it, there is nothing out there that can match up to the God who put the stars in the sky and formed the universe. If He can do all those things, what He can do for you is unlimited. There is no comparison!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Ask yourself "whose opinion am I really relying on concerning this issue in my life" ? Your answer should either help you to go on ahead or make a U turn.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that my life is aligned with God's purpose for my life. God's promises are covering my every need. God's power is healing  my every pain in Jesus name

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, thank you for your faithfulness and mercy in my life and family

*Father, I thank You that there is nothing this world can offer as an answer or solution that can match what You can do in my life and family in Jesus name.

*Father God, I keep my eyes on You today and trust your promises as my final authority, come through for me concerning.....................in Jesus name

*Father God, open my eyes to the solutions you have provided for my situation in Jesus name

*Father God, I command the yoke of unmet needs in my life to break by fire in Jesus mighty name

*Father God, open up your hand and satisfy my expectations and desires in Jesus name

*Father God, I command the yoke of financial stagnation to break by fire in Jesus name

*Father God, let your promises begin to manifest in every areas of my life that requires urgent solutions in Jesus name

*Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name.

INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE FOR TODAY

"God is not limited in resources only we are limited in our imaginations"

THE PROPHETIC DECLARATION FOR TODAY

The Sovereign LORD says today that we are going back over old ground to reclaim the harvest. There are investments you have made in your life, of your time and resources in times past that look like they cast their young and did not produce.

Raise the level of your expectations says the LORD. Past dreams are being reclaimed. Set your sights on higher things not on your current perceptions of your limitations or boundaries. I am moving the line of demarcation between the possible and the impossible. Where you think the parameters of the possible and impossible are set are being moved - radically moved. Get ready for the impossible to become possible as I raise the bar of My favor in your life to bring about highest heart's desire and greatest dream fulfilled.

JESUS - YOUR LIMIT BREAKER

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)

Thursday 5th September 2019

TOPIC:  JESUS - YOUR LIMIT BREAKER

TEXT: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him (1 Peter 3:22).

The devil works to limit you but by reason of Christ ascension into the heavens you have been raised with Jesus above whatever the enemy is doing to limit the fulfillment of God’s word in your life. Therefore, if there is any revelation we need to get down inside of our spirit, it is the revelation what Christ has done for us and of who we are in Him. Often the reason we allow our minds to get overwhelmed by life is because we forget where we have been seated. Ephesians 2:6 says, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” You have been seated with Christ! The enemy tries to throw all sorts of threatening thoughts and attacks against us. Yet, it’s much harder for any of those efforts to succeed when you know who you are seated next to! Not only are you seated next to Jesus, but that location places you above the enemy’s attempts. That is because according to 1 Peter 3:22, all powers have been made subject unto Him! Nothing can stand up to Jesus!

So get bold and take every problem you are facing today and see it submitting to you. You may even consider writing those problems on paper, then putting it on the floor and standing on it just to remind yourself that these things are submitted under your feet. Not only are these problems subject to Jesus, but they are subject to you because you are seated with Him. Everything the devil has tried to do submits to you today!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Deliberately see all that the enemy is doing below the power of Jesus Christ in your life

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day Lord, I know that I am seated with Christ today. I declare every demonic attack is under my feet and must submit to me because they must submit to Jesus. All powers are subject to Christ and I have overcome them! In Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father thank you for bringing me and my family to this wonderful day in Jesus name

*Father God thank you for giving me victory over every works of the enemy in Jesus name

*In the mighty name of Jesus, I subdue every power of darkness challenging the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus name

*I command every satanic devices that’s been used to monitor my life catch fire now in Jesus name

*In the mighty name of Jesus, I crush every opposition at work against my position and promotion in Jesus name

*In the mighty name of Jesus, I uproot every obstacles making life difficult for me and my family now

*I command the Yokes of hardship and non-achievement in my life. Break by fire in Jesus name

*I command every evil hand manipulating the fulfillment of my destiny wither by fire in Jesus name

*Father God plant my feet on higher grounds this new month in Jesus name

*Father God, my life is available; perform the good things you have promised me this month in Jesus name

*Father God by your goodness let great joy and gladness break forth in my career and life in Jesus name

*Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name

HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(daily Devotional)

Wednesday 4th September 2019

TOPIC :  HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

TEXT: "My sheep hears my voice...." (John 10:27 KJV)

God wants to speak to you. But many times you have sat there thinking to yourself, “How come I feel like I can’t hear God…ever?” There are periods of time where we all might experience this and I’d like to share with you some common reasons why you might not be able to hear God after which we will discuss how to hear Him:

1.)  He’s silent
Many times we can’t experience God’s voice simply because he is silent. This always reminds me of the quote, “Remember, the teacher is always silent during the test.”
Ask yourself, what might God be trying to teach me? Examine if there is anything in your life that God might be trying to change. Also, sometimes God’s silence is the best way to get us to move and communicate with us.

2.) My voice is too big
It’s hard to hear God when we are the only voice we are listening too. We often get so immersed in our own problems and our own lives that all of a sudden our voice leaves no room for God’s voice. Always remember that in order for us to fully hear God, we must quiet our own voice to hear his.

3.) Failure to recognize His voice
From my own personal experience, in order to hear God’s voice requires practice. That’s right, I said practice. Why? Like any relationship, we must be willing to put in the time, patience, and effort into our relationship with God in order to hear him. If we do though, it will go a long way in order to hear him better.

4.) Listening to others
Just like our own voice can get in the way, other people’s voices can also interfere with our ability to hear God. For example, how many times have you been in a situation where people were constantly giving their own opinions about what to do? It’s easy to get caught up in what everyone else is saying but the most important voice we must listen to is God’s voice.

5). I don’t want to listen. Sometimes we simply don’t want to listen to God. I think this is most common when we knowingly are doing something wrong and yet we don’t want to change or give it up.
I hope these common problems of why you might not be able to hear God’s voice help your understand and provide ways you can change it. I know God desires to communicate and have an intimate relationship with you, so don’t give up and keep pressing forward!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Start practicing the art of hearing God's voice today
