TOPIC :GUIDING YOUR CHILD'S DESTINY THROUGH PRAYERS

TEXT: "I prayed for this child" (1Samuel 1:27)

Every saints was once a child, so was every criminal. What makes the difference? At the top of the list is the influence of parents! The prophet Samuel led the nation of Isreal for forty years, anointed David to be king and guided him in some of his most crucial decisions. But who was the most dominant influence in Samuels's life? His mother Hannah. Listen to her prayer at his birth: 'I prayed his whole life will be given over to the Lord..."(1Samuel 1:27NIV). Never underestimate the power that's released when a parent prays on behalf of a child. Only God knows how many prayers are being answered right now because of a faithful parent who prayed many years ago. If what you are doing in this fast paced world is keeping you away from praying for your children and grand children, then you are doing too much! There is nothing more important than the time spend with God on their behalf. It's not too late for a child that brought you grief and tears. Jesus' mother had to watch her son being crucified, she also had the joy of seeing Him raised again from the dead. Indeed, you may go to your grave wondering if your prayers are effective and when they will be answered, but never, never stop praying, because: (a) God works according to His schedule not ours (b) His ways and means are superior to ours (c) When parents prays God moves!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Let's spend the bulk of our time praying for our children

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that my children are like olive plants round about my house. Great is the peace of my children and they shall taught by the Lord, walking in the fullness of God's glory in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Thank you Father for your faithfulness and mercy over my life and family this day

*Father God, thank you for the children you have given me in Jesus name.

* Father God,  I re-dedicate my Children to you, let their lives glorify your name in Jesus name

TOPIC : MAKING CONSISTENT PROGRESS

TEXT: "....It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you...(Philipians 3:1NIV)

Have you any idea how often the people you admire got it wrong, half right, almost right, before they got it right? Making mistakes is the unenjoyable, unaviodable part of making progress. That's why Paul said '...it is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safegurd for you(Philipians 3:1). He understood that you have to keeping hearing and doing it in order to get it right.
Stop comparing yourself with others. The Bible says...When they measure themselves by themselves...they are not wise'(2Corinthians 10:12NIV). Some of us given five talents, some two, and some one. Your talents not your wishes, determine your potential. One talent people who make the most of what they've been given receive the same 'well done' as five talent people. The one who gets into trouble is the one who fails to take the risk; their biggest mistake is their unwillingness to make a mistake! Dr. John Maxwell says, 'your performance depends on your commitment to practice. Consistently good practice will lead to consistently good play. It sharpens you. Wise people understand this, and develop the discipline to do it. 'If you want to sum what lifts most individuals above the crowd, you could do it in these four words: A little bit more. Successful people do what's expected of them plus a little bit more. So what God will have you consider today is seek to make progress consistently  not perfection.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Today have the courage to give it another try. Make that call or go to the place where your expectations are waiting. Just don't stay still or give up.

TOPIC: POWER THROUGH PRAYER

TEXT: But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
—Psalm 66:19 ESV

Fulfilling your destiny comes through experiencing God’s power. But you cannot have His power without His presence. We enter into God’s presence through prayer!

The King of Glory is raising an army of mighty men and women who seek no temporal throne or temporal power, carry no carnal weapons of might, and do not stockpile the praises of men. Dead to Self, their only hope is to be seated in heavenly places with Christ, the hope of Glory. They alone terrify the demons of hell and torment principalities and powers because they cannot be bought by ambition.

These soldiers of the King do not chase “superstars” of the faith hoping to get their Bible autographed. They see only One, Bright and Morning Star, Jesus, who has written His Name on the tablets of their hearts. They lay their plans at His feet and embrace His plan for their lives.

Embrace God’s plan for your life today and become a prayer warrior in His army.

TOPIC: SEPARATED FROM DESTRUCTION

TEXT: "And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them;
and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: and it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel;
and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night" (Exodus
14:19-20).

I remember one particular year when it was raining heavily in an  area we once lived and some of our neighbors’ roof got blown off by the boisterous wind.  We prayed over our house, and i remember saying to my wife “We won’t have our own roof blown off  because there is always light in
Goshen!” Of course, I was referring to the plague of darkness that fell on Egypt while it remained light in Israel and how God always separated His people from destruction (see Exod. 10:22-23). When Israel was finally delivered from Egypt and then, shortly thereafter, pursued by the chariots of Pharaoh, God once again sent an angel to stand between Israel and Egypt and the two were separated. In Exodus 14:19-20, the angel brought the pillar that was light to Israel and darkness to the Egyptians. Never forget that the light of God stands
between you and the world today and separates you. When darkness is upon the world, the light of deliverance will always be given unto you!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

God has been good and He will continue to manifest His goodness. Let us approach these days expecting to see the goodness of the Lord manifest. Let us be strong and of good courage, for the Lord will fight for us if we stand in faith.

TOPIC: COOMANDING SIGNS AND WONDERS

TEXT: “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following” (Mark 16:20).

The preaching of the gospel is heaven’s pass for us to manifest His power on earth.
Jesus didn’t send us out into the world to live an ordinary powerless life.
When Jesus came to the earth preaching the Kingdom, signs and wonders followed Him to confirm for those who heard Him that He was anointed and sent from God. Matthew 4:23 says, “And Jesus went about…preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” When He preached the Word, signs followed Him. Then when He sent forth His apostles to preach in Matthew 10:1, He gave them power to cast out demons and heal sickness. After Pentecost, the early apostles continued to preach, and signs and wonders followed the preaching of the Word. That same mandate has not ended, and we need signs to follow the preaching of the Word more than ever.
We need to expect signs and wonders to follow our lives as we share the Gospel with people we meet. God does not expect us to present a powerless Gospel that doesn’t promise any tangible results. We all meet people on a regular basis who need real miracles. We need to feel confident to tell them that God heals and delivers and can do the miraculous in their life. Know that God will confirm your word with strange signs and wonders today!

Be bold in representing Jesus Christ today knowing that He is at work in you and through you.

TOPIC: FAVOUR TIME!

TEXT “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come” (Psalms 102:13).

Favour is a divine tool by which God gets His harvest into this hands of His people.
We are in a prophetic season in which God has promised to perform that ‘good thing’ He has promised us (See Jeremiah 33:14 kjv). Therefore right now we should expect the favour of God to be upon us. It is going to open amazing doors for the Church and cause many people who have hardened their hearts in the past to turn to the Lord. In the Bible, when God placed His favor upon His people it caused nations to tremble and prosperity was always attached to it. We need to live every day expecting to see God’s favour! Expect amazing doorz to open up and people to give things to you that you didn't ask for. When God gives you favour with people it is so we can tell them about the Lord and further God’s Kingdom in the earth. Begin to talk about favour every day. Rather than expect rejection all the time, begin to believe that people will accept you and receive you when you present the Gospel to them. Begin to expect favor in business dealings during this season. Expect finances to grow and increase. See many coming to the Lord and filling our churches. When we expect favour, we will step into the harvest of good things Lord has ordained for this season and time. If we expect nothing, we may miss some of the greatest blessings the Lord has prophetically programmed into this month and this year. Yes, this is your set time to connect to the good things promised you and to stand in the favour of the Lord!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Go into this day with the confidence that God will cause His favour to be upon all that you do this day.

WORD CONFESSION
I am evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and is at work. Today I declare that I receive your favor right now! I walk in favor in my workplace, at home, and in every place I go. I receive the increase of favor and by it I connect to the harvest of good things that God has promised me for this season I believe new doors are opening In Jesus name.

TOPIC :  TERMINATING WARFARE BY WORSHIP

TEXT  "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so
that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and
everyone’s bands were loosed"(,Acts 16:26)

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were in prison with their feet and hands in stocks, while their backs were bleeding from a beating they had received earlier for preaching Christ. Without a doubt, they
were uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. While their situation may have appeared hopeless, they
didn’t complain and question God as to why He allowed them to go through this trying time.
Instead, they chose to worship the Lord in the middle of their pain, in the middle of their darkest moment. When all hope seemed lost, they praised the Lord with joy! Instead of looking at the chains and prison walls, they saw a God who is not bound by prison doors! Because of that, God stepped in with sudden and immediate intervention. Stop seeing your prison walls today. Stop seeing your impossibilities and look to a God who can deliver you from your most trying situations as you worship Him. Praise Him today and every day, then see the power of God’s sudden intervention today

Take your eyes off whatever makes you stop and start celebrating God's faithfulness.

*Father God,  let any power attempting and intending to hinder the celebration of God's faithfulness be shattered in Jesus name.
