TOPIC:   OPEN UP YOUR LIFE TO GOD

TEXT: "But he did not recognize Jacob, because Jacob’s hands felt hairy just like Esau’s. So Isaac prepared to bless Jacob. “But are you really my son Esau?” he asked. “Yes, I am,” Jacob replied."

Genesis 27:23‭-‬24 NLT

As humans we have the tendency to mask up our true identity and we did this by pretending in a whole lot of ways. Jacob, in the Old Testament, did some pretending too. With his mother Rebekah’s help, he fooled his father into believing he was his brother Esau so he could gain the blessing meant for the elder son (Gen. 27). Jacob got caught after his deceitful act, but it was too late for Esau to receive the blessing. Pretending goes on in our churches today. Some people put on a false front. They use the right “Christian” words, attend church almost every Sunday, and even pray before meals. They pretend they “have it all together” in order to gain the approval of others. But inside they’re struggling with brokenness, guilt, doubt, or an addiction or other persistent sin. God placed us in a body of believers to support one another. Admit that you aren’t perfect. Then seek the counsel of a godly brother or sister in Christ.

Don’t let the devil keep you all bound up by making you hide your pains and cover up your struggles

Pretending there is nothing wrong;

Instead, open your life to God who is all knowing and all loving.

Then God will fill your heart with solutions and  new songs of victory 

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Open your life to God today he knows you more than you know yourself.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

 I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work . Today I declare that The Lord has taken my pain and troubles and given me healings. Today I walk in the liberty wherewith Christ has made me free in Jesus name. Amen

TOPIC : JESUS - THE HOPE OF A BETTER TOMORROW 

TEXT:  "They went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus"(Luke 24:23).

The story was told of how long lines of tourist from all over the world wait day after day to visit Lenin's tomb and see his embalmed body. Although he died in 1924, the corpse of that communist leader has seemingly no decomposition. It looks deceptively lifelike. And its appearance is indeed deceptive. Skillful artist monitored the preserved corpse, artificially coloring its face and using wax to fill any lines or smallest spot of decay.

People also regularly visit Jerusalem to see the place where Jesus died and was buried. But there is striking constrast--there is no body of the crucified Christ to be found any where. But there is only one rock hewn tomb, where according to tradition the nail scarred, spear driven,  thorn crowned corpse of Christ was laid. But resurrected by the power of God His Father, the saviour left His grave clothes behind when He emerged from the tomb, like a butterfly abandoning its cocoon.

Jesus is alive! And you can know His presence today. Because of His atoning death and empty tomb, you can have eternal life(1Cor.15:20-22). Because Jesus lines,  we can have the hope of a better tomorrow. The song writer says "because He lives I can face tomorrow." The victory of Jesus over the grave a guarantee  of your eternal victory over all challenges of life that we might be facing today.  You need only to admit that you are a sinner and want His salvation. He will give you a new life now, a new beginning and you have hope of a glorious future ( see colossians 1:27) And those that have received the gift of salvation and continue to believe, will continually enjoy the abundance of His amazing grace. One day we will all see Him and be with Him forever(1Peter 1:3-5).

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Receive the gift of salvation today and stay connected to Jesus all the way. 

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY 

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that Christ amazing grace is at work in me, I declare that I live the best life, I have eternal life, I live in Christ's absolute victory today and everyday. Amen!

TOPIC: SKILLFULNESS - THE CORNERSTONE OF SUCCESS 

TEXT: “Do you see a man skillful in His work? He will stand  before kings…

The cornerstone of success is skillfulness. Skill is the ability to do something well. And it comes by study, practice and hard work. Second best is unacceptable. Skillfulness puts you in hot demand, you don’t take back seat for anyone (Pro.22:25). Contrary to believes, skillfulness isn’t genetic, you don’t inherit it, you work hard for it, you burn the mid-night oil, you stretch yourself to your limits and refuse to settle for mediocrity. When you watch a skilled craftsman, your esteem rises at their attention to details, refusal to cut corners, patience, dedication and pride of production. Such people inspire confidence, respect and trust.

Genuine Christianity is showcased by been skilled worker for God when you speak people listen. If you go to town you see people with gifts but lack the necessary skill to use the gift so they push out shoddy, second rated products. At the end they don’t excel and their voices not heard.

Whatever your work, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him (Col.3:17). As a representative of Christ we should be an epitome of excellence in the things we do. Knowing that we follow Christ, we should give employers and customers’ confidence they will get nothing but the best. The skillful person can’t lose, because God promises that their work will eventually attract attention of people who will promote and reward them. “do you see a man skilled in his work? he will stand before kings” where you stand among men is a product of the skills you possess. You might start in a corner but you will end up on the global stage. You might start at the bottom of the ladder but your destination is higher up.

TOPIC:  "COME UP HIGHER"

TEXT:   "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

Revelation 4:1 KJV

Growing in the Lord means you are willing to allow God to take you into unfamiliar spiritual places. They are not new to God, but they are new to us. God wants us to experience the depths and heights of His heart, His thoughts, and His plans, but it takes faith and commitment to go into unfamiliar territory in knowing the Lord.

When we go higher with The Lord in the spirit, the things of the world loses its grip upon us, our hearts are set on things above rather than mundane things, and we have access to unusual depths of revelation. Secondly things that once seems like mountains now looks like dots. I once saw the picture of planet earth taking from Mars. The earth looked like blue dot from that point. The higher you go with God, the smaller life challenges become. 

The Lord will always be prodding us to go higher and farther with Him.  Jesus told His disciples to launch out into the deep, most of our normal responses to that request would be much like theirs. “But Lord, we tried that and it got us nowhere, and besides now we are tired of trying.” That is a rough paraphrase, but Jesus was beckoning them back into the deep waters. Instead of responding as if it is just “over your head” or too deep for you, respond with a willing “Yes, Lord, draw me into the higher place.” Sure, the higher places in the Holy Spirit require adjusting our schedule and being willing to stretch our level of spiritual understanding, but it’s worth it! Go ahead, ask the Lord to take to higher realms of knowing Him today!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Release yourself in the hands of the Lord today and let Him take  you into higher levels in the spirit.

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day I walk in deeper depth with Lord. I renew my covenant, consecration and dedication with the Lord in Jesus name.

TOPIC: EMPOWERED FOR VICTORY

TEXT:  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

Life definitely isn’t a problem-free bed of roses! While we know this is true, we also shouldn’t expect it to be a bed of poison and mountains of  problems either! As believers we need to look at our lives and know that we have the ability to overcome the problems that are caused by demonic powers. We shouldn’t live in fear of some pending attack lurking around the corner. We need a stronger mind-set that is confident that Jesus Christ will enable us to live in victory above these things. Jesus told His disciples that they could walk over the power of the devil. He reiterated to them that nothing has the power to harm them. This explains why He could escape the hands of His would-be killers early in His ministry (see Luke 4:30). It explains why Peter could be broken out of prison by an angel just before his scheduled execution (see Acts 12). I once heard someone say, “If the devil could kill you, he would have already done so, but the fact that he hasn’t means he cannot!”

We need more established confidence today that we have the power to walk over the attacks of demons rather than them walking over us. Know what belongs to you today, because the devil and all his power is under your feet!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Go into this day with the mentality and confidence that you are more than conqueror

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work, I declare this day that I have victory over every works of the enemy. I tread upon serpents and scorpions and nothing shall by any means hurt me in Jesus name

*I command that every satanic wiles and lies around my life be frustrated  and terminated in Jesus name

TOPIC:  DECREE THE BLESSING IT! 

TEXT: "And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude" (Matthew 14:19).

We know the story of Jesus and how He fed the multitude with only five loaves of bread and two

small fish. Yet, we often overlook the part about how Jesus took something that was insufficient and how His words caused it to become sufficient. Jesus took what was not enough, and when He spoke a blessing over it, suddenly it became more than enough. There is no doubt

that when Jesus decreed a blessing over that handful of food He knew His words carried power

to produce a miracle.

Your words have power today. What you are saying about your situation is either multiplying you or decreasing you. Begin speaking a blessing over something in your life that feels

insufficient. Declare that what isn’t enough

becomes more than enough. Perhaps it is your finances or something in your business. Maybe

you are lacking in some measure of

self-confidence or self-worth. Start reversing it by speaking a blessing about who you are and

who God had made you. If there is something that you are lacking today, speak a blessing over it and expect what isn’t enough to become

supernaturally more than enough!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Open your mouth today and always and start speaking  God's blessing over your life and situation

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today 

I declare today that the blessing of the Lord is upon my life, so I move from the lack to all sufficiency and to the overflow in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL  POSSIBILITIES 

TEXT:  "Do not despise these small beginnings, 

for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin." (Zechariah 4:10 NLT)

The apostle Paul discovered on the road to Damascus that God had a plan for his life, one that he had never considered.

Paul truly met the God of the impossible—the One who was born as a baby, lived as a man, suffered death on the Cross as the Lamb of God, rose again the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for His beloved children.

Doing the impossible often begins with one small step. When God wanted to create Adam, He began with a handful of dust. Moses was sent to challenge Pharaoh with a walking stick; Samson killed thousands of Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey (see Judges 15); Jesus fed the multitudes with a couple of fish and five loaves of bread. When He sent David to conquer a giant, the shepherd didn’t take a cannon; he picked up five small stones. When God sent His Son to earth, He wasn’t sent to a metropolis, but to the small, backwater villages of Bethlehem.

Do you think your ideas are too small to succeed? Give them to God and let Him anoint you to do the  impossible!
