(Pray Until Something Happen)

TEXT: "...Be persistent in your prayers...(Ephesian 6:18 NLT).

We live in a world where everybody is looking and searching for answers. Billions of dollars are been spent by Nations and organisations to find answers to life challenging twists. The world is looking everywhere else but God. So the more they discover, the worse things get. Answers from God is what bring permanent solution to life situations. And getting answers from God demands that we get alone with Him.

Andrew Murray wrote, ' Many Christians look upon it as a burden, a duty and a difficulty to get alone with God! That's the greatest hindrance to our Christian life everywhere. God said "call upon me  and I will SHOW you great and mighty thing which thou knoweth not" (Jeremiah 33:3 Nkjv). The answer you seek can be found on your knees.  Meaning there are certain answers you won't see manifest in your life, except you get alone with God. Jesus said " if you abide in me and my word abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall done.(John 15:7NKJV). Prayer is like a platinum card; it gives you access to God's wisdom and resources. Apostles Paul writes 'continuing steadfastly in prayer' (Rom.12:12NKJV). The story was told of a soldier who was caught creeping back into his quarters from a nearby woods. He was brought before the commanding officer and was charged for communicating with the enemy, but the soldier said he had just gone to pray. His commanding officer ask ' do you make it a habit of spending hours in prayer? Yes Sir! He replied. 'Then get down on your knees and pray now' roared the officer ' for you have never needed it more'. The officer got down on his knees and prayed so powerfully that his commanding officer shouted 'enough! You may go, I believe you! You see friends, if you hadn't done so well at practice, you wouldn't do very well at review. Prayer is not a spare tyre; you can't just leave it in the boot of the car and go for it when you need it. You must be persistent in your prayer life. Be like a pregnant woman who has come to her time of delivery. Don't stop pushing until the baby comes out. It takes persistent prayers to get consistent answers from God. So keep pushing!

Never stop praying about a matter till you get the answers you want.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY 

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that the Spirit of grace and supplication is at work in me. The windows of heaven are opened unto me, God's supernatural answers are pouring out to me in unquantifiable measures in Jesus name. Amen!

TOPIC : GOD'S SOLUTION FOR STRESS

TEXT: "On the seventh day  He rested from all His works(Genesis 2:2)

Are you tired all the time even after sleeping? Do you keep going to the doctors and they can't find anything wrong with you? You may be experiencing the symptoms of burnout. Long periods of overexertion can cause fatigue, sleeplessness and stress. Some other signals of burn out are crying for no reason, being easily angered, insecurity, negativity, irritability, depression, cynicism and resentment towards the blessing of others. Recognize any of these in yourself?

One reason God establish the Sabbath was to keep us from burning out. The law of Sabbath simply states, we can work six days, but on the seventh we need to rest; also to spend time worshipping God and having fellowship with His people. Even God rested after six days work. Now since God doesn't get tired, clearly He is given us an example we should follow. In old testament, the land had rest after six years, no sowing and reaping was permitted in the seventh year(Exodus 23:10). During this time everything is recovered and prepared for future production.

We argue that we can't afford to take time off because we have deadlines to meet, the fact is we can't afford not to. Probably you say ' I will never get anything done if I do that'. Then you are too busy and something needs to change in your life. When you are too busy to obey God's command and follow His example, then you pay the price. What you sow you reap. If you sow continual stress with no rest to offset it, you will reap the result in your body, your mind, your emotions, your health and relationships. So change and rearrange your priorities and learn to take time off!  The most authentic cure for stress is rest!

TOPIC: HOW TO GET  REVELATIONS FROM GOD

TEXT: "Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions."

Psalms 119:18 NLT

The Bible is filled with hundreds of examples of people getting God’s vision, like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Hosea, Jonah, and Micah. Seeing God’s vision for your life is not a crazy thing. God often uses a mental picture to clarify the next step he wants you to take.

I don’t have to explain this to you because many of us  are visual thinkers. When you read a story in the Bible, you can see that story in vivid Technicolor. When you read a book, you’re picturing the story in your mind the whole time. But for some, it’s a little harder. They are not a visual thinker. They tend to think in words, not pictures.

But regardless of whuch side you are on, how do you get God’s vision?

First, ask God a specific question.

In your quiet time, after you’ve read the Bible and prayed, maybe you’re just being quiet and waiting before God. You could ask, “God, is there anything you want to say to me?” And then you wait. “God, is there anything I need to know that I’m not thinking about?” And then you wait.

James 1:5 says, “If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won’t correct you for asking” (CEV). God wants you to ask him for advice, and he wants you to be specific. He’s waiting for you to ask!

Second, look into God’s Word to see what God might want to say to you.

Psalm 119:18 is a verse you should memorize: “Open my eyes, so that I may see the wonderful truths in your law” (TEV). It’s a good verse to pray as you open up God’s Word. Every answer to every problem you have is in that book. But you’ve got to read it, study it, memorize it, and meditate on it as you seek God’s vision for your life or even just for today.

It's never too late to seek The LORD concerning the issues of your life. Start today

TOPIC : RADICAL TRANSFORMATION BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS 

TEXT: "For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God."- I Peter 1:18-19 NLT

What the blood of Jesus means to you is what releases its power to you. Below are five things the blood means and will do in your life:

1) it means that Christ has paid the penalty for our sins in full and we do not have to pay the penalty. Isaiah said, 'All we, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all' (Isaiah 53:6). Our sin and guilt before God has been washed away by the blood.

2) It means that we are cleansed from any further sins we may commit after we become Christians. The Apostle John said that if we continue 'living in the light,' then it means that 'the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin' (I John 1:7). The blood not only cleanses us from our past and present sins, but also from any future sins we may commit.

3)  It means that we have been ransomed with the blood from the sinful way of life we inherited from our ancestors. The Apostle Paul said, 'For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins' (Colossians 1:13-14). The blood of Christ is our ticket into the new life of the Kingdom.

4) it means that we are able to defeat Satan, the roaring lion who seeks to devour us and who accuses us before the Lord. The Apostle John said that we 'have defeated him by the blood of the lamb' (Revelation 12:11). Since the blood has washed away our sin and guilt, Satan's power has been undermined and his accusations fall flat.

5) It means that our consciences have been purified by the blood so that we may come before God in worship (Hebrews 9:14) and prayer (Hebrews 10:19). We are no longer alienated from God and we have, as a result, access to Him.

The precious blood of Jesus Christ has radically transformed the lives of everyone who believes in what He did - and we should be eternally grateful.

 ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Have confidence in the power and the eternal work of the blood of Jesus. Walk with a sense of absolute victory into your day and everyday.

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that by the blood of Jesus,  I am saved, healed, and supernaturally  transformed from glory to glory in Jesus name

TOPIC: GOD'S PURPOSE FOR THE BLESSING 

TEXT: "Let grain from the bundles fall purposely for her."(Ruth 2:16)

Can you imagine how Ruth felt? She was bereaved by loss, penniless, worried about the future, coming out of famine, then suddenly having more than she needed dropped into her lap. She didn't deserve it, didn't earn it, and couldn't understand it. That's how God works.

But a word of caution: when you are not used to been blessed it can go into your head! The Bible says: "Remember the Lord God, for it is He who gives you the power to(succeed in life). (Debut.8:18AMP). God is one that enables you to do what others find difficult or impossible to do; in some cases what others are taking classes to do are the things you do naturally. That's because God has blessed you with ability. "Why would he do that? You ask. Because there is a direct correlation between God's blessing and God's purpose for your life. God doesn't bless you so you can hoard, or strut. Whether His blessing comes in form of increased finances, improved health or greater influence, God's gifts are just tools to reposition you so that you can do his will. The enemy is not just after your provision, he is after your purpose! What good is success if you are not in the will of God. When God gives you something, He wants you to use it for His glory. So when God gives His blessing, be sure to read the instructions that come with it; only then will you please Him and find fulfilment! And one thing, always remember that God is the source of everything you have; and ever will have.

TOPIC:  ELIMINATING DESTINY  SPEED BREAKERS 

TEXT: Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us (1 Thessalonians 2:18).

The LORD wants His plans to happen quickly in your life but The major work of the adversary is to act as speed breakers in your journey of destiny fulfilment. So if you are feeling hindrered, it indicates that you are doing something meaningful and making progress in your life and chosen career. Paul experienced a lot of trouble against His ministry. Not only was he vehemently persecuted, but it seems that everywhere he went the devil was busy stirring up little problems and aggravating issues to try and prevent the success of his ministry. In First Thessalonians 2:18, when Paul said he was hindered, Strong’s Concordance describes

the word as an obstacle that blocks what is needed. Paul said it kept happening over and over again. It isn’t until First Thessalonians 3:10-11 that we see God remove these hindrances so Paul could get where he intended to go. What finally made the difference? First, verse 10 says his group began to pray intensely, probably because he was tired of the harassment and began to pray some warfare prayers! Suddenly in verse 11, we see God Himself stepping in with an anointing specifically to remove these hindrances. The divine power of Heaven radically stepped in and brought all the chaos to rest! And granted Paul the much needed breakthrough

If you have felt hindered today by constant little troubles and harassment trying to slow you down and prevent you from succeeding, God is ready to bring these little fires from the enemy to an end. Begin with determined prayer, but then call upon the Lord for it to stop. If those harassing spirits had to get out of the way for Paul, they shall surely move for you too! God’s power is removing your obstacles and accelerating your destiny fulfilments in the remaining days of this year

TOPIC:  YOUR ACCESS INTO THE SUPERNATURAL 

TEXT: "For with stammering lips and another tongue will

he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest…" (Isaiah 28:11-12).

Many people want to have a supernatural

experience with God in the spirit that transcends

them from the everyday. But in order to enter

into the spirit, we need to first pray in the spirit. Praying in tongues acts as a doorway to the supernatural glory of God. The early

apostles walked in supernatural power after they

experienced the Day of Pentecost when tongues of fire sat upon them. Imagine what could take place in your experience with the Lord today if you prayed in the spirit throughout the day. You can pray in tongues as you drive in your car or get ready for work. You can pray under your breath as you lay down to sleep or even doing chores around the house. By increasing time praying in the spirit, we will have a greater measure of supernatural encounters in His presence that will refresh our walk with Him. There is power when we pray in tongues and you are ushered into the realm of possibilities beyond your imagination.
