TOPIC: BE SPIRITUALLY PRODUCTIVE

TEXT:  "He who received seed on good ground is he who hears the word and understand it, who indeed bears fruit." (Matthew 13:23)

Being productive is doing something to get a desired result. So it's knowledge plus action that produces results. 

In the book of Matthew Jesus told the story of a sower, a seed and four kinds of soil(Matthew 13:1-9). He mentioned the following kinds of hearts: The heart by the wayside, the stony heart, the heart of thorns and the then the good heart. The heart among the thorns represented those who permit the word of God in their hearts to be choked by the cares and pleasures of the alluring world(v:7,22).

The dangerous possibilities for anyone who thoughtlessly respond to God's word. The world may induce a forgetfulness of spiritual reality and responsibility.

Do we allow the attractions of this world to keep us from reading and meditating on God's word? Prayerfully let's us strive to be like the one who "hears the world, and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces".

As the sun has risen today, and we are preparing for today's activities let it not be said we have forgotten God. Therefore,  Carry Him along into your week and see good emerge at the end. Have a super productive week. 

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Take  a spiritual inventory of your life and make adjustments where necessary 

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY 

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work.  Today I declare that I am spiritually fruitful, the word is bringing forth abundantly in me. 

PRAYER POINT

*Father God, thank you for this great and wonderful day in Jesus name 

*Father God , I give my heart to you. By your Spirit help me to cultivate the soil of my heart that I may continue to bare eternal fruits in every areas of my life in Jesus name

*Father God,  reject a life of spiritual barreness and fruitlessness in Jesus name 

*Father God,  thank you for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name

Look not at the things that are seen for the things that are seen are temporary and changeable, This is your day - this is your time for My faithfulness will be seen in your life"
