TOPIC: KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE LORD

TEXT: "O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You"  (2 Chronicles 20:12 NKJV)

We live in very uncertain and challenging times. Only those that know the God they are serving will survive the various tidal waves that keeps rolling in on daily basis. The strongest of us sometimes feel like giving up. Have you recently you felt like giving up? We all do at some time in our lives. In this day and time, there is no way we can escape stress and pressure. Everything we do seems riddled with problems. When we watch the news, we usually see only the bad news.

King Jehoshaphat had a crisis of integrity. He was the king of Israel, doing the will of God. He was faithful to God. He was obedient—a covenant man—yet he was faced with adversity. Vast armies, coming from three different directions, were about to attack him.

The people said: “Jehoshaphat, what kind of program do you have to deliver us? What committees are appointed to help solve this problem? Where are the bright, glorious banners and the trumpet under which we will march?” He said: “None—no programs, committees, or banners.”

“Jehoshaphat, you are the king!” they cried. “What are we going to do?” He said: “I don’t know. I just don’t know, but my eyes are upon the Lord.”

When you feel like giving up—be certain to keep your eyes are upon the Lord and He will sustain you and He will establish your footing, ensuring that you are not moved.

Put the LORD in charge of the affairs of your life this week.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that my going out and coming shall be a joy. My minutest desires are established and granted this week in Jesus name.

*Father God, my eyes are upon you, command deliverance for me and my family in Jesus name

*Father God my eyes upon you this week, enamour me with your grace and uphold me with your Strength in Jesus name

*Father God, my eyes upon you this week, give testimony to the word of your grace in my life. That it may known that your hand has done it in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, my eyes are upon you this week, thank you because I will not be disappointed nor put to shame this week in Jesus name

*Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus mighty name.
