TOPIC: YOUR HARVEST RESTORED

TEXT: "…He shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons" (2 Samuel 9:11).

God can bring again the harvest of many years the enemy might have denied you.

Mephibosheth was the little five-year-old crippled grandson of Saul who was dropped when his nanny fled with him after Saul’s household fell under attack.
Long after Saul and Jonathan’s deaths, David went to looking for someone from the descendants of Jonathan to keep a promise that he would forever show kindness to his family (see 1 Sam. 20:15). A former servant of Saul named Ziba told David about Mephibosheth now grown but still crippled. In Second Samuel 9, when Mephibosheth was introduced to David, he felt completely inferior because of his condition. r Second Samuel 9:8, he responded to David by saying, “Who am I that you would pay attention to a dead dog like me?” It was obvious he had no sense of self-worth. The effects of the murder of his father and grandfather, in addition to his own lame condition, were very visible. Yet, David ignored this and gave Mephibosheth a permanent dinner pass to the king’s table! In one day, he went from worthlessness to royalty! Everyone has experienced attacks on their self- worth, but as an heir of Christ you are given a permanent pass to the table of King Jesus. In spite of life’s blows, you have gone from worthlessness to royalty! It doesn’t matter how others view you; all Mephibosheth needed was the approval of the king. You have the approval of Christ the King today, and your harvest has been restored!

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am a creature of God’s glory and value. I am a vessel of honour, I am the light of the world a city set upon a hill which cannot be hidden. I am the salt of the earth; I will not lose my savour in Jesus name.

TOPIC: LIVING IN GOD'S ABUNDANCE

TEXT:  "Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store"
(Deuteronomy 28:5).

Living in God's abundance is better than living on income gain due to personal efforts.
So many people live salary to salary and it seems they have barely enough money to make it until the end of every month.

In a world where recession has been rampant, some have suffered from lost wages or even job losses. Savings have dwindled and for many people have disappeared altogether. One of the key prophecies God spoken to Israel through the mouth of Moses was that if the people would keep trusting God in hard times, God would see to it that restoration hovered over their storehouse. This was speaking of excess resources that are set aside for future use. God was preparing Israel to not be moved by circumstances that didn’t seem to be going like they wanted. He wanted them to know that no matter what, even when resources were lean or hard to find, He would see to it that blessing would return to their savings and storehouse. God wants to pour excess into your life even when it seems that there is not enough provision to go around. We have to believe it simply because God is supernatural. It’s abundance in the midst of scarcity that shows the glorious power of God in action. We need to expect that kind of outpouring because we serve the Lord who turns scarcity  into excess and abundance!

Trust the LORD to supply your needs according to His riches in glory...

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day that I am blessed in my going out and my coming in, the fruit of my body, and the works of my hands are blessed, my provisions are running over and I live in God’s abundance in Jesus name

TOPIC: KEYS TO REAPING YOUR CAREER HARVEST (2)

TEXT: For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another (Psalms 75:6-7).

In this season of harvest and enlargement God wants you to succeed in whatever you are doing. Your success magnify and glorify Him, He delights to see things working out for you in every way.

Therefore, as we work in our various careers we must acknowledge the fact that He is the one that can give you the success that you need is very important in quest for greater achievement. While hard work is expected, our success isn’t based on our efforts alone. Success comes from the Lord. No matter what you are called to do, it is not human beings who hinder or make the way for you. Sure God uses people, but we can’t put the expectation upon them to ensure success. When we serve God and are faithful with those things He puts in our hand, no one but God or ourselves can alter our outcome. You may think that you have a boss, leader, or even business partner who is preventing you from getting ahead. However, God always has a unique way of promoting you regardless of who is on the playing field. The major key is to know that God promotes diligent workers who are faithful to Him. He can take your efforts and multiply them so that no matter what seems to hinder you today, it will move aside and promotion and occupational enlargement will be yours.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Invite Jesus into whatever you are attempting to do today. Remember God delights in your success

TOPIC: KEYS TO REAPING YOUR CAREER HARVEST (1)

TEXT: "Who is slothful in his work is a bother to great destroyer" (Proverbs 18:9)

God is interested in what you do for work and He is also interested in how you do it. The truth is your prospect for the future is determined by your work ethic. Today let's look at work ethic and how to either acquire it or avoid it if you want God's harvest of blessing

Laziness: 'I went pass the field of a sluggard...the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone was in ruins...I learned a lesson, a little sleep..folding the hand ...poverty will come on you like a bandit. (Pro 24:30NIV). Laziness produces just like a thief will rob you. The Bible says lazy people are:
(a) Procrastinators ' A little sleep. Folding of the hands. They say 'I will do it tomorrow ' but tomorrow never comes.
(b)They are expensive to maintain. 'He who is slothful in his work is a brother to a great destroyer. They complain, cut corners, cripple business and cause hardship.
(c) They are quitters. They quit before jobs are finished. The lazy man does not roast his game.(pro12:27). He hunts the deer but won't clean it. Unfinished projects filled his life. Half built cupboards, half painted rooms, half tidied garages. Sound familiar?
(d) They are masters of excuses. 'The sluggards says there is lion outside or 'I will be murdered in the street!' (Pro 22:13). When he runs out of credible excuses, he goes for ridiculous ones. He will say 'you want me to get sick going to work in this weather? Whatever your work, do it conscientiously.  Don’t let laziness rob you of success.
(e) They come late to work and go early. Arriving after everyone else and wanting to go before everyone else is sure mark of laziness. They never meet up with schedules and deadlines. They will always have a reason why something is not done on time.

Reaping a career harvest begin when avoid the above and turn a new leaf. Maximum results always answers to maximum efforts.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Stop giving excuses and start doing what you are meant to do to get the success you desire

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day I receive the wisdom to make good success. The power of positive turnaround is on my life this day. So I am experiencing a positive turnarounds in career and family in Jesus name.

TOPIC: HARVEST BY THE WORD

TEXT:   “…The seed is the word of God.”
(Luke 8:11KJV)

The word of God is a seed that has the capacity to bring about unspeakable harvest when we plant it appropriately on the soil of our hearts.

When you read the bible, GOD often asks questions. He doesn't ask for Himself.  He already knows the answer. He asks us because he wants us to understand and get it. And in getting it we are able to reap the harvest of divine answer behind those infallible truths:

1) He asked Adam, “Where art thou?" Sometimes we don’t realize where we are in life and it takes the voice of GOD to remind us.
Gen 3:9

2) He asked Moses, “What is that, you have in your hands?" Many times the very blessing we need is already in our grasp.
Exo 4:2

3) He asked Ezekiel, “can these bones live?" Sometimes you may think a situation in your life has died, But GOD is reminding you that it can live. It’s not dead; It’s not over!
Ezekiel 37:3

4) He asked Abraham, “Is there anything too hard for GOD?". Think about that as you are going through life. I don’t care what it looks like. There is nothing too hard for GOD to do. Nothing is impossible with Him. Gen 18:14
The answers you find to the above questions are the harvests that God is willing to bring into your life.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Keep sowing the seed of the word of God into your spirit and your mind. Believe everything the Lord says and you will receive the miracles behind it if we faint not

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus is alive and at work. I declare this day that that God’s word is working for me and transforming my life, I go from strength to strength and from glory to glory in Jesus name

PRAYER POINTS

TOPIC: BREAK FREE TO BREAKFORTH

TEXT: “For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit”  (Mark 5:8).

There are two keys words to secure your own deliverance from evil spirits. We often say them when ministering deliverance for others, but forget to speak them when demon powers want to meddle in our business. Those simple words are “Come out!” You can command unclean spirits to leave your mind, your body, your finances, your workplace, and wherever else they may be trying to gain access. Too often when we see something wrong in our life or surroundings, we deal with it passively. We casually try to ignore it or even pray a little about it. Yet sometimes you have to just wake up one day and realize that this is the devil! When Jesus met up with the demonized man in Mark 5, He had no trouble recognizing the devil was at work. Of course, sometimes the devil doesn’t hang around in an obvious way like that, all dressed in a shiny red devil suit. He comes subtly until you get used to him hanging around. So how do you know for sure it’s the devil? Because the devil and evil go together. If it’s bad and evil, it’s probably got a demon nearby cheering it on! Don’t let him set up shop at your house! James 4:7 says to resist him and he will have to flee! Tell that devil to loose it's grip over what God has given you and  “Come out!”!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Work out your deliverance today by resisting and rejecting what the enemy is doing in your life.

WORD CONFESSION
I declare my victory over every works of the enemy. I stand in the liberty in which Christ has made me free. I am a victor and not a victim, I am an overcomer. The blood of Jesus is speaking over me and my family in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God thank you for this great day that you have made in Jesus name

*Father thank you for giving me victory over the works of the enemy in Jesus name

TOPIC: FAITH FOR UNCOMMON HARVEST

TEXT: …If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20).

There are harvest of miracles and  possibilities coming toward you and going pass you everyday, your ability to key in with your faith is what delivers it into your life. Though you might need to start small but as you grow in faith you a lot more become more possible unto you.

In Matthew 17:14-21, the disciples tried to cast out a demon but couldn't. They had the power because Jesus had already given it to them (see Matt. 10:1). Knowing this, the disciples were dumbfounded about why it wouldn’t work. Jesus explained that even though they had the power, unbelief was preventing it. This is where many believers live. They know they have power, but struggle to produce miraculous results.
Jesus gives the key in Matthew 17:20, saying, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard.” Jesus wasn't telling them that if you have tiny faith like a mustard seed that is all you need. This doesn't make sense because He already told them that they had unbelief, which the Amplified Bible refers to as “the littleness of your faith.” Jesus wouldn't tell them their faith was too little, then say they only needed a tiny bit of faith. He was saying that while a grain begins small, the miracle is not in its size but in its growth potential. The disciples needed to take that tiny bit of faith and grow it for that kind of miracle.

You can take your tiny seed of faith today and grow it by nurturing it and watering it with promises of faith from God’s Word. When you do, it will grow up, before you know it you will have grown a miracle and all things become possible unto you!

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

Lord I declare that I believe in miracles. And that I am moving from faith to faith and from glory to glory in Jesus name

PRAYER POINTS

*Father, I appreciate you for your faithfulness and mercy toward me and my family in Jesus name

*O Lord God, I reject every spirit of unbelieve and fear at work against my life in Jesus name

*O Lord God, as I go into this day. Let the doors to the harvest of miracles, signs and wonder open to me by fire in Jesus name

*I command every ‘mountain’ of indebtedness standing against my life to disappear now in Jesus name

*I command every ‘mountain’ of sickness and disease be removed from my body and family in Jesus name

*O Lord God, every battle waiting at the edge of my miracles to deny me, be scattered in Jesus name

*O Lord, send the helpers of my joy to me this day in Jesus name.

TOPIC: SUCCEEDING BEYOND YOUR LIMITS

TEXT:  In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him.
(1 Sam 18:14 NIV)

When you have a God given dream and you commit yourself to it, it will surely be fulfilled. Yes, you will stumble, be stretched to new limits and may be even stagger across the finished line, but you will make it.

You will get to the promise land. Look at Moses: he had a history changing message to deliver to Pharaoh, yet he was a poor speaker. He had marriage problems. He was a 'sole trader' who had to reach his breaking point before he learned to delegate responsibility to others.
He had a problem with his temper, as a result God said, "....This is the land I promised... I have let you see it...but you will not cross over it" (Debut. 34:4). But Moses finally got there! 1,400 years later he stood with Jesus on the mount of transfiguration: right in the middle of it! You say ' I've failed so badly'. David committed adultery, yet his Psalm brings strength to multitudes and he us quoted in pulpits around the world. God didn't excuse David, but he forgave him and used him. '....David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God...was buried... (Acts 13:36). The Bible described God as, '....ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness' (Nehemiah 9:17). Notice the words 'ready to pardon'. God is ready when you are; all you have to do is to turn to him. Before Habakuk about his vision, he said, ' I said, I will...watch to see what He will answer when I am corrected'(Habakuk 2:1). Corrected but not discarded! Isn't that great? So today go beyond your Weakness and limit, go on fulfill your dream and destiny.

TOPIC: MAKING IT THROUGH ROUGH TIMES

TEXT:    "The testing of your faith produces endurance"(James 1:3NAS).

Endurance means 'staying the course'. But endurance is only a mere word until you have to deal certain rough seasons in your like like going through strife-torn marriage, the long road back from bankruptcy, divorce or illness, the rebuilding of your life, or the required preparation for success in any field.

It takes faith and commitment to keep going when friends fail you, discouragement whispers ' give up' and doubts say 'it can't be done'. That's when you need to listen to another voice that tells you to keep going regardless of the challenges. Strong faith in God is the backbone of endurance. It becomes your anchor in the storm, your compass in times of confusion, and the head of steam that gets you up the next hill. Remember, God knows when to discontinue a trial in your life because it purpose has been fulfilled. And He gave us two great promises:
1) His comforting presence. (Isaiah 43:2-5).
2) The assurance that He won't permit more pressure than we can handle (1Corinthians 10:13).
But there is another reason, others are watching! Apostle Paul writes, 'People are watching us as we stay at our post... Working hard, working late, without eating, with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness and honest love; when we are telling the truth...when God's showing His power; when we are doing our best setting things right; when we are praised and when we are blamed; slandered and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God...immersed in tears yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all (1Corithians6:1-10 TM). That's how to triumph through endurance.

TOPIC: EMPOWERED FOR UNCOMMON HARVEST

TEXT: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8).

The advent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost was an important event that changed history. It was what transformed Jesus’ disciples from a group of timid individuals who fled His crucifixion into a group of ministry machines who stood up to controversy and performed signs and wonders. Pentecost was the event that caused everyday people to walk in the miraculous, pray in the spirit, and enabled them to cast out formidable demons.

It caused the shadow of Peter to pass over people and heal them (see Acts 5:15). Every person in the New Testament who encountered the power of Pentecost was transformed. Jesus prepared His disciples for the historical moment that would change people’s lives forever by saying, “You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” He was letting them know, “Listen guys—after the Spirit fills you, your life will never be the same!” I don’t know about you today, but my life radically changed once I was filled with the Holy Spirit. My Christianity took on a new, exciting direction. I have never once wanted to return to the way it used to be. That’s because when the Holy Ghost hits you everything is transformed. Don’t take the Spirit within for granted today because He is stirring in you again. He won’t leave you alone, because you have been transformed by the Holy Ghost and your lifestyle has ceased to be ordinary. Today and always you can expect to accomplish things not known or common to men.

Develop a new hunger and thirst for the Holy Spirit today and let that hunger drive you to seek God for a fresh emporwement by the Holy Spirit today

TOPIC: THE LORD'S DOING

TEXT:  "This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes" (Psalms 118:23).

Psalm 118 is a description of the Lord’s defense of His people during times of trouble. Throughout, it gives a prophetic foreshadowing of Jesus.

Then verse 23 says, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” In other words, as soon as the revelation of the Messiah was revealed and expounded upon, it caused wonder and amazement. Only God could have come up with it! What we must always remember is that when we are dealing with the everyday circumstances where the Lord is involved, He does things we would have never considered. Therefore, it doesn’t pay to sit around for hours musing over how to solve things. Sure, we need to think through decisions and so forth, but what we want to avoid is the human tendency to “think” ourselves into worry or even failure. If we aren’t careful, we begin to think of all the situations that seem unsolvable. However, when we focus on the fact that God is involved, even though we may not see it at the moment, we can be assured that His answer is always going to a be a marvelous sight! Marvelous means that it causes you to be in awe. It is something you could have never come up with on your own. Get ready this day for God to intervene in ways you never imagined, because He will always do something wonderful in your eyes so get ready, wonderful harvests  are coming! Before this week is over you shall be able to say ‘Surely, this is the Lord’s doing and its marvelous in my eyes ' in Jesus name.

TOPIC:  THE SECRET OF REAPING SPIRITUAL HARVEST

TEXT: Text: " …And the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how" (Mark 4:27).

In this month of harvest and enlargement, the wants you to grow and begin to get certain spiritual results that you have never had before.

Physical growth is hard to detect. Growing from childhood into adulthood isn’t something you observe in the mirror. Healthy growth is so gradual you don’t notice it. Rather than actually observing the growth process, you simply live out the results of growth. The results of growth are seen when perhaps you are given more responsibility, buy different sized clothes, or know a little bit more than last year.
Spiritual growth is the same. Many times, we don’t see ourselves growing in the Lord. In the parable of the farmer in Mark 4:27, he plants seed but doesn’t actually observe the growth process. He doesn’t know how it grows; it just happens. All he knows is that one day he is enjoying the crop that came from that growth process. Like the farmer, if you have planted the right “seed” you will experience a good crop. By putting God’s Word in your heart and staying close to the Lord, you don’t know how it happens, you just grow and eventually you begin to reap that harvest of  that growth because people will begin to notice the fruit growing on the tree of your life. While you may not see it, you are growing and have probably come much further than you realize. So keep feeding on His word and in no distant future from now, your lifestyle will reflect your spiritual diet style.

Focus on bearing fruits in your spiritual life by taking time to feed on the word of God

TOPIC:  CONNECTING TO THE HARVEST BY FAITH

TEXT:  “Now Faith  is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of the things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews 11:1 AMP).

Faith is the arm that you need to stretch forth in to order to receive the harvest of answers that God has promised you. The harvest of good answers (Hosea 2:21-23 ) the LORD promised us can only be received by faith.

The main foundation of Christianity is believing in what we cannot see with our physical eyes. That begins with believing in Jesus even while we cannot see Him physically. However, that shouldn’t be our only experience with faith. We need to have faith in all of God’s promises this way. We believe them without question until they manifest in our lives. Hebrews 11:1 says faith becomes all the proof we need. It’s the title deed that the harvest we are seeking exists and belongs to us. We can build that kind of faith by reading God’s Word and getting it into our hearts (see Rom. 10:17). When you read and meditate regularly on the written promises of God, they begin to become just as real to you as if you were seeing them with your natural eye. When we build that kind of faith in us, eventually we live out what we believe internally. This is the kind of faith we need when the enemy is putting pressure on us. Connect to the good things the LORD intends to bring into your life today.

TOPIC: THE PRAYER THAT GET ANSWERS (Part 5)

TEXT: “….Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”(John 16:23 KJV)

Getting results in prayers has never been made easier when you understand the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said the father will honour any cheque that you present in heaven with my name on it. And the greatest of the news is there is no limitation to what you can obtain from the father in His name.  The name of Jesus is the only name that get results in three worlds: in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth (Phil 2:9). Heavens open when they hear it, hell tremble at mention of it and the earth stand still in honour of that name.

You can only use the name of Jesus effectively when you understand the following:
(1)When you acknowledge Him as LORD. Saul of Tarsus knew about Jesus, but when he met Him face to face on his way to Damascus, it revolutionized his life(Act 9:3 ). The same will happen when you make Jesus the Lord of your life. If you haven’t done that do it now (2) You can only use the name of Jesus effectively in prayer when you have an intimate relationship with Him. David wrote ‘one thing I desire of the Lord that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, and to inquire in His temple(Psalm 27:4). Please mark the word desire, seek, dwell, behold and inquire. Paul uses the marriage to illustrate our relationship with Christ.(Eph5:25-32). The moment you say ‘I do’ you have the right to use your husband’s name. (3) You can only use the name of Jesus effectively when you are convinced of its power. Don’t use His name if don’t believe that He is able and willing to do what He says. And He alone can do that when you stand on His word and practice His principle in the affairs of your life. Any time you use His name in prayer you backed by the authority of God’s kingdom and heaven is obligated to give you what you have asked for.

*Take time daily (preferably before you get out of bed for your devotion) to meditate on the name of JESUS

God loves to be believed! The Bible says it is impossible to please God, because anyone that comes unto Him must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Faith is a powerful spiritual force. It’s the thing that God responds to, but we must expect our faith to be challenged.

Sometimes after we have prayed, the enemy will cloud our minds with doubt and fears. When he does, we need to examine our hearts and see what it says. We can believe God’s words in our hearts not in our heads particularly when we have asked for something that God has promised in His word. We can rest assured that it’s settled concerning our expectations. The Psalmist said ‘O Lord thy word settled…’ (Psalm 119:89). We must not allow our doubts and fears take root. We need to starve our doubts and feed our faith.
Sometimes doubts begin with distractions. When we are distracted from God’s promises, we start to doubt. As we think more and more about our problems instead of God’s promises, our faith begin to waiver. We must focus like a laser on God’s promises, His power and His willingness to work on our behalf and merely glance at our challenges. We are not denying the existence of challenges, but we should not pay too much attention to them. James writes: ‘But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubt is like the wave of the sea, driven, tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double minded man, unstable in all in ways(James1:6-8). If we want God to answer our prayers, we must anchor our faith to what God has said, and not to drift all over the place when our circumstances begin to change, for God does not change and that  is why He able to bring the needed change to our situation.

TOPIC: THE PRAYERS THAT GET ANSWERS (Part 3)

TEXT: “If we ask anything according to His will He hears us” (1John 5:14)

God wants to answer our prayers, but they must be prayers prayed according to His will. We cannot have faith outside the will of God and neither can we pray with the expectation to get answers if those things we are asking for are not promised in His word.

The Holy Scripture says ‘Now this is the confidence we have in approaching Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and…we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him(1John 5:14,15). One of the ways we can be sure we are asking according to His word is to ask according to His word. Use a passage or a principle from scripture to back up what you are praying, for God said ‘I will hasten my word to perform it’ (Jer.1:12).
Sometimes there are things we want to pray for but we aren’t sure whether those things are God’s will for us according to scriptures. In this case we simply need to ask God to give it to us if it’s His will to do so. And to let us be satisfied with His decision. St. Augustine said, ‘O LORD grant that I may do thy will as if it were mine; so that thou mayest do my will as though it were thine’. D.L Moody said ‘spread ot your petition before God and then say ‘let thine will not mine be done’. One of the sweetest lessons I have learnt in the school of the Spirit is letting God chose for me

When we pray in harmony with God, we will have what we ask for. We may have to wait because God’s timing is part of His will, regardless of our waiting time if we keep believing and expecting, our answers will come. We can say ‘I may not see it yet but God has promised it to me, so it’s on its way. And if God doesn’t give us what we ask for, He will give us something better, if we keep walking in faith and keep an attitude of joy.

TOPIC: THE PRAYER THAT GET ANSWERS (Part 2)

TEXT:  “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence” (Heb.4:16)

The second key that brings answers in prayers is confidence in God! When we understand that as God’s redeemed children we have the right to approach Him anytime, we are able to overcome the enemy making us feel condemned.

As a result we become confident in approaching Him. We no longer say to ourselves ‘I know that God can do it, but don’t think He is ready to do it for me’. We think such thoughts because we think we are not worthy. Jesus has made us worthy. When we come to God we can count on Him to be merciful to us. Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. Grace means God will give us what we don’t deserve if we have the confidence to ask Him for it. We ask in Jesus’ name not in our own name. we are presenting to the father all that Jesus is and not all that we are. We are actually nothing without Jesus! God is able to do more than we ask Him through Jesus(Eph3:20). God cannot lie, He won’t say it if He won’t do it. Therefore let us take advantage of all that God can do by asking confidently. If we can ask Him we can be sure He will answer!

Helen Poole writes ‘my four year old daughter would always pray before she went to bed. One night she prayed, her voice getting softer and softer until only her lips were moving. Then she said amen. I said ‘honey I didn’t hear a word you said. She replied, ‘Mummy I wasn’t talking to you’ when you understand that you have the right to talk to God and He is listening to every word you say, you will pray with confidence.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
*what would you like to have if you know it’s impossible for your request to be turned down? That’s exactly what you start asking God! if you can ask it, He can do it, and you will receive it

TOPIC:   LOVING BEYOND THE LIMITS

TEXT:  “A friend loveth at all times… (Proverbs 17:17kjv)

Relationships at  all levels can be very challenging because we will sometimes encounter those people who are either difficult to live with or work with. They may be negative Thomas or know it Peter, either way they can create a very frustrating work environment or hostile livelihood to us if you let them. Here are some ways you can meet the challenge and relate beyond the limits

1) Don’t join them: Don’t allow yourself get caught up in the negative ‘Do me I do you’ trap of negative behavior. Even if your colleague gets away with been difficult, know that there are people watching them, but more importantly people are watching your reaction to them. Be willing to exhibit grace under fire and stay above the fray.
2) Silence is not always golden: You might say listening without saying anything is the path of least resistance. Part of meeting the challenges difficult people represent is finding your voice and challenging their false assumptions, interpretations and believes. Your failure to do so may be interpreted as agreement by both the difficult person and the people around you.
3) Focus on the behavior and not on the person: When giving feedbacks or addressing the issues, emphasize the person’s action instead of the person. Providing feedbacks focus on three things: The situation, the behavior the person exhibit and the impact of their behavior on you or the situation.
4) Challenge absolute statements: difficult people live in a world of black and white without the skill to navigate the many shades of grey that workplace and family creates. They use such absolutes like ‘always and never’. For instance they might say ‘Mary is always late’. But it’s always good to challenge the fact the person in question was late that day but was early other days.

Above all with the love of God flowing through us we can look at such difficult people as one in whom God is still perfecting His work. This perspective will make pray for them and help in nurturing them to maturity in God.

Endeavour to see everyone you meet as a project in the hand of God and relate with them as such.

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am a new creature, I am not whom I used to be, I don’t do things I used to do, my heart is filled with God’s love. So I love the unlovable in Jesus name
