TOPIC: SHAKE OFF THE DARKNESS

TEXT: "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those
things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken
may remain…" (Hebrews 12:26-27).

It is always a good thing when God begins to shake things up. I think of it as similar to when you shake an house rug and all the dust comes flying out! Afterward, it looks so much better. When God removes areas of sin and darkness from our lives, it is always with love and mercy, even though a good shaking doesn’t always feel pleasing. Yet it’s better for God to do the shaking rather than the devil after he has gained access through uncontrolled darkness.
Remember, when God shakes the darkness from our lives it is not with harm and shame, but with mercy. He begins with a word. It’s important at that point to respond and make changes in whatever He tells you. When we respond and
work with God to get the impurities out of our own lives, we enable Him to build with all the good things that remain. Then God can work together with us to remove the darkness that exists in our schools, cities, and nations so that His love and glory can fill
the earth!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Shake off whatever the any has placed upon you and yours today through aggressive prayer and confession of the word of God.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that my shackles are broken and burdens lifted. darkness shall cover the earth but the Lord has arisen upon me and is glory is risen upon me. Amen

PRAYER POINTS
*Heavenly Father God, thanks you for its new day and this new week in Jesus name

Father Hod, thank you for the gift of life and  sound health that you gave me and my family in Jesus name.

*Father God,  shake off the darkness of  impurities from my life. I ask You to use me as a vessel of light to create a standard of holiness all over the

*Father God, shake off every darkness contesting with your glory around my marriage, home and family  in Jesus name

*Father God, shake off every darkness contesting with your glory around my finances in Jesus name

*Father God,  shake off every darkness contesting with your glory around my job,  career and business in Jesus name

*Father God, shake off the darkness contesting with your glory over the church of Christ in Nigeria and the world in Jesus name

*Father God, shake off the darkness contesting with your glory in the socio-economic and political space of Nigeria in Jesus name.

*Father God,  let the light of your glory and revival  breakforth in our churches and nation in Jesus name

*Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers in Jesus name
