TOPIC: WINNING LIFE''S  BATTLE GOD'S WAY

TEXT: “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: but lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea” (Exodus 14:14-16).

Our God is a fighter and He always uses simple strategies to win great battles. In our text, Israel was confronted with a challenge that stagnated their faith; they were hedged in between what one can call ‘the devil and bloody red sea’. With nowhere to go Moses cried to the Lord and He told Moses to divide the sea using the rod in his hand. There is something the Lord will want you to do to surmount the odds against your advancement in life.

Many years ago, there was a point in our lives that it seemed like there was one storm after another. I am sure every believer can say “ditto” to that! We felt like we were in a tornado with only moments of relief. Our pastor back then gave us some simple but incredible wisdom. He said, “Though there are many storms, there is only one devil.” That really took the magnitude out of our problems. The devil was behind all of it and we needed to use our authority and keep pressing forward. Sometimes, our tendency is to retreat or beg God. In the Scripture above, the Lord told Moses, “Why are you crying to Me? Use your rod, Moses, and go forward!” God knew He had put authority in Moses’ rod! We have been given our rod of authority through Jesus’ Name. Ephesians 2:6 says we are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all evil powers and might. So don’t retreat from the devil today, just raise your rod of authority and move forward!

Today seek and follow God's strategy in that situation that is challenging your faith.

WORD CONFESSION
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare this day that my life is moving forward regardless of the circumstances and happenstances my life. My stumbling blocks are become my stepping stones in Jesus name

TOPIC:  GOD’S GUIDING LIGHT

TEXT …Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20).

The prophets are God’s guiding lights that shine as it were in a dark place. And its of utmost importance that we know how to relate with them so as to get to the final and glorious destinations ordained for us by God;
There are two men in Scripture, both named Saul, who didn’t give heed to the prophets God sent them. The first was King Saul of Israel who disobeyed Samuel, causing him to lose His Kingdom and eventually get beheaded by the Philistines (see 1 Sam. 13:10-14; 31:9). The second Saul, who later became Paul, was warned not to go to Jerusalem by a group of prophetic disciples and then also by the prophet Agabus (see Acts 21:4,11-12). The Spirit had even warned him of it during his own private prayer time (see Acts 22:17-18). However, in spite of these warnings, Paul went there anyhow. Like King Saul, he too lost his head.

Jehoshaphat, on the other hand, in Second Chronicles 20:20 valued the prophets and told Judah to listen to them. His wise instruction resulted in the army of Judah defeating the Ammonites in battle.

Think about some prophetic words that you need to believe and follow. God has given them so you can gain insight into His plan and use them to pray and seek His wisdom. You don’t need to worry about when they will come to pass, just do your part to respect and believe God’s genuine prophets. Then rest assured that doing so will cause you to prosper and succeed today!

WORD CONFESSION
I am the evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and is at work. I declare this day that none of the words that God has spoken to me will fall to the ground. Its my season of manifold answers: God is answering to me, heaven will answer to me, the earth will answer to me my efforts shall not be wasted in Jesus name.

TOPIC: STAND FIRM

One of the toughest times is when all we know about God seem not to be helping us get our desired results. That is when we learn about His silence.

Whenever God doesn't say a word (a) He is teaching us even in His stillness (b) He is allowing us to grow by forcing us to think, study and arrive at conclusions, while He stands by with a hushed smile and a watchful eyes. He is fathering us!

Faith comes by hearing, patience comes by silence! Patience is what God gives you when bad things remain unchanged and expectations are not met. It's God sedative for your troubled heart. It's the balm He rubs into your aching muscles when you feel like you are been stretched to your breaking point. These are the times that the pain last so long that only God can give the patience required, and the sheer grace to sustain you. The truth is patience is nothing but strength harnessed, power focused and faith taking its time.

Listen, just keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and will finish this race we are in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed- that exhilarating finish in and with God- He could put up with anything along the way: The Cross,  shame, the pain of rejection and betrayal. And now He is there, in the place of honour, right alongside God, seated on the throne of glory. When you find your faith slowing down and you feel like throwing in the towel, go over this story again. If God didn't leave Jesus  in the grave, He won't leave you in the ditch. Go through!

Regardless of what you are seeing around you, take one more step in the direction of your destiny fulfillment.

TOPIC:  THE GOD OF ALL SEASONS

TEXT: "He is before all things, and in Him all things consist....that in all things He may have the preeminence"(Colosian 1:17-18)

We can never overstate the greatness of Christ. As the the most important person in history, he is worthy of our love and our praise. In his classic book The pursuit of God, A W Tozer said, his love for the person of Christ was so intense that it threatened to consume him; it burned within him and flowed from his lips like molten gold. In one of his sermons he said 'wherever we turn in the Church of God, there is Jesus. He is the beginning, middle and the end of everything to us. There is nothing good, nothing holy, nothing beautiful, nothing joyous which He is not to his servants He is everything that means anything to us....no one need to be downcast, for Jesus is the joy of heaven, and it is His joy to enter into sorrowful hearts. We exaggerate about many things, but we can never exaggerate our obligation to Jesus, or compassionate abundant love of Jesus to us. All our lives long we might talk of Jesus, and yet we would never come to an end of the sweet things that might be said of Him.
In this season let's lift a glad hosannas of praise to the King of kings. Jesus deserves our loving adoration. He truly is the LORD of all seasons . The reason for not just this season, but the reason for every seasons of our lives.

TOPIC: SPEAK LIFE INTO YOUR SITUATION

TEXT:  "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind,
prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus
saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O
breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they
may live" (Ezekiel 37:9).

Wind has a powerful symbolism as it is often
identified with the Holy Spirit. Of course, there
are many types of wind in Scripture—some were
winds of destruction (see Mark 4:37; Acts 27:14-
15), while others were winds from God that
came to breathe life and blessings. One such
example was the wind of the Holy Spirit on the
Day of Pentecost. This kind of wind typifies the
breath of God upon something. In the valley of
dry bones, Ezekiel spoke life to the group of dry
bones, causing them to come together and form
what resembled people (see Ezek. 37:1-10).
Then the Lord commanded the prophet to speak
to the wind so that the lifeless figures would
receive breath. The wind came into them,
causing them to live and stand up as a great
army. God has a breath of wind to blow upon the
lifeless things He wants raised up in our lives.
Sure they may look like nothing more than a
group of dry bones right now, scattered across
what looks to be a depressing valley. However,
today God wants to breathe life on these things
that you gave up on. It’s time to speak to the
wind.

Keep speaking over your situation till your desired change come

TOPIC: THE COMING GLORY

TEXT "Behold, he cometh with clouds…" (Revelation 1:7).

When you think about how many times in the
Bible God’s glory descended upon His people, it
makes you feel a sense of awe. When Moses
met with God on Mount Sinai, the cloud of glory
covered the mountain (see Exod. 24:15). The
same cloud filled the temple in Second
Chronicles 5:13. When Jesus was transfigured
before His disciples, the cloud of glory
overshadowed them (see Mark 9:7). Not only did
the glory of the Lord appear as a cloud, it
appeared as a bright, fiery light. The shepherds
at Jesus birth experienced it in Luke 2:9. Saul
experienced it on the road to Damascus (see
Acts 9:3). We also know when the day of Jesus’
glorious return comes that He will arrive in the
clouds of God’s glory according to Revelation 1:7
and Matthew 24:30.
We see all through the Bible that God’s cloud of
glory manifested in unexpected places, on
unexpected people, and in unusual ways. We
shouldn’t only expect to experience the glory in a
church service. It can manifest upon you
anywhere and in any location. I believe you
should expect the glory to manifest at any
moment upon you today!

Be on the look out for sudden manifestation of God's glory today

I walk in new realms of glory today. The beauty of God is manifesting in every area of my life in Jesus name.

TOPIC: DARE THE IMPOSSIBLE

TEXT:  "Do not despise these small beginnings,
for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin." (Zechariah 4:10 NLT)

The apostle Paul discovered on the road to Damascus that God had a plan for his life, one that he had never considered.

Paul truly met the God of the impossible—the One who was born as a baby, lived as a man, suffered death on the Cross as the Lamb of God, rose again the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for His beloved children.

The impossible often begins with one small step. When God wanted to create Adam, He began with a handful of dust. Moses was sent to challenge Pharaoh with a walking stick; Samson killed thousands of Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey (see Judges 15); Jesus fed the multitudes with a couple of fish and five loaves of bread. When He sent David to conquer a giant, the shepherd didn’t take a cannon; he picked up five small stones. When God sent His Son to earth, He wasn’t sent to a metropolis, but to the small, backwater hamlet of Bethlehem.

Do you think your ideas are too small to succeed? Give them to God and let Him anoint you for the impossible!

TOPIC: GOD'S SEAL OF OWNERSHIP

TEXT:  "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand
firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of
ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts
as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come " (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)

When Jacob wrestled all night with the angel, his
thigh was thrown out of joint in such a dramatic
way that it permanently marked Jacob’s life (see
Gen. 32:24-32). It caused him to call the place in
which it happened Peniel, which means face of
God. Jacob described it saying, “I have seen God
face to face, and my life is preserved” (Gen.
32:30). He had an encounter with God that
“marked” his thigh, which became the mark of a
divine purpose. That purpose was seen when his
name Jacob (deceiver) was changed to Israel
(God prevails). He went from being a deceiver to
one who represented the prevailing power of God
as the offspring that ultimately became the
nation of Israel.
God has marked you for a purpose today. He so
believes in you that He has placed a seal of
ownership on you to show you His guarantee. It
doesn’t matter what others say you cannot do;
even if they laugh at you now, know that God
sees who you will be. Stand firm in that today!

TOPIC: SUNDAY IS COMING!

TEXT: For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)

Are you experiencing a Friday in your life right now? On Friday, the disciples were discouraged, defeated, and desperate. They had lost all hope, forgotten what Jesus had tried to instill in them. One had even betrayed Him. It was as if Jesus looked in His wallet and pulled out a picture of Peter. You might say, “Jesus, you can’t be proud of him; he quit on you.” But Jesus replied, “Yes, he quit on Friday, but Sunday is coming!”

Jesus knew that once He approached the throne room, brought His precious blood, and sprinkled it in the Holy of Holies, a man or woman would never again need to say they were unforgiven. They could hear the words, “Forgiven. Not guilty!” when they accepted Him as their personal Savior.

Jesus’ work on earth is finished. The tomb will always be empty. We serve a risen Lord whose power is stronger than your past or present.

God loves you. You may say you are not perfect and that you cannot see the glory of God or the power of His resurrection. God knows about all of your discouragements, about your Fridays, but get ready—Sunday is coming!

TOPIC: TREAT PEOPLE THE RIGHT WAY

TEXT: "Be courteous that you may inherit a blessing" (1Peter3:9NKJV)

Common courtesy is fast becoming a scarce commodity in our society and even among Christians. The Bible made us realize that courtesy is one of the keys to the blessing and also positions us for divine help.

Sometimes we don’t know how to go about pleasing God and getting blessed. Preachers have made it a lot complicated by teaching us to believe that 'tithing' is the only path to the blessing. No, practicing courtesy also can give you access to God's blessing. The prophet Micah simplifies it for us: 'what does the Lord require of you but to love kindness'(Micah 6:8NAS). Below are ten common courtesies you should work on every day, and teach our children. After all if they don’t learn courtesy from us where else will they learn it? (1) Go out of your way to speak to people. Pleasant words are healing ( Pro 16:24 NIV) (2) Try to remember people's names it shows you value them (3)Smile, it increases your ' face value' (4) Be friendly and helpful, if you do people will return it (5) Show genuine interest in people, you can find something good in almost everybody if you try ( 6)  Be generous with your praise and be courteous with your criticism (7) Be slow to Judge, there are three sides to every story, your side, their side, and the right side. (8) Instead of ' using' others serve them: by love, serve one another ( Gal 5:13). (9) Start trusting people, it builds lasting relationship (10) Be humble.
Courtesy does two things: a) It speaks well of your parents, ' Live so that people will...praise your father'   (Matthew 5:16 NVC). b) It determines your level of blessing. ‘Be courteous...so that you may inherit a blessing

TOPIC:  CREATED FOR GOD'S PRAISE

TEXT: “This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise” (Isaiah 43:21).

The prophetic scripture was referring to the work of redemption that the Messiah was coming to carry out on the earth. A new people shall be formed  who will show forth the praises of God. In other words they shall be so transformed there entire lifestyle begins to show the greatness of God. people will look at them and see indeed that God is great and that He really exists.

God is always working to change you for the better and is doing the same in the entire Body of Christ. He will have for Himself a glorious Church. You may feel in your life today that you are not progressing or growing spiritually like you should. Maybe it seems like the Church itself is failing more than succeeding. Regardless of how it appears, God is forming you for Himself and is transforming the entire Body of Christ into something spectacular. You may not see the details now, because healthy growth is hard to notice on a daily basis. So even when you don’t realize it, God is growing us. However, unlike we often do, God doesn’t throw His hands in the air and say, “Oh, this isn’t going to get anywhere; I give up!” No, the Bible says He finishes what He begins. Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” In other words, God will not give up transforming His people. He will get what He is after and that is a people who are so transformed that a new sound will be heard in the land! There language is influenced by what happened within them.

Let your life reflect the glory and power of God

TOPIC:  RE-IGNITE YOUR PASSION

TEXT:  "And Gideon came to Jordan, and passed over, he, and the three hundred men that were with him, faint, yet pursuing them" (Judges 8:4).

Passion can be described as an intense emotion that compels action. It’s what keeps driving you in the direction of the fulfillment of your God giving dream regardless of the circumstance and situation surrounding you.

God gives everyone a dream for their future. Some are short-term and others are lifelong dreams. Many times the process to realizing those dreams is challenging and takes far longer than anticipated. Perhaps you have become weary in pursuing your dreams. A good biblical example of someone who was weary but kept pursuing was Gideon and his 300-man army. The Bible says his men were “faint, yet pursuing”
(Judg. 8:4). If you are feeling weary, there are some principles that may help. First, decide if your dream is truly from God. If so, there will be confirmations from others and circumstances will begin to align leading up to it. If these factors exist but there’s still a hold up, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the reasons. Perhaps there
are some areas holding you back that need adjustment. We all need to reassess our
direction sometimes. It could also be a timing issue and nothing more. The key is that once you know your dream is from God, keep pursuing it with passion. Determined pursuit creates success. Sure, you may feel faint sometimes, but that’s often when you are the closest to breakthrough, so never give up,  keep pursuing your dream today!

TOPIC: VICTORY OVER TEMPTATIONS

TEXT: "Jesus was led up to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil." (Matthew 4:1)

Eden was a breathtakingly a beautiful garden all year round it was in that garden that Adam and Eve bask in the stunning creation of God and the joy of perfect harmony with Him and with each other. Until satan  arrived on the scene, bringing weeds, thorns destruction and death.
You can't help but notice the contrast between the landscape of Genesis 1 and Matthew 4. The same tempter who once entered God's garden now welcomes God to his turf--the dangerous, barren wilderness.
The wilderness can be the picture of what the world and life becomes  when satan  has his way. With one decisive blow, the joy of Eden was replaced by the barrenness of shame(Gen3). But Jesus was victorious over satan's turf (Matthew 4). In that victory, He too gives us hope that we too can have victory. A victory that assures us that the day is coming when we will no longer toil in satan's  wilderness but be ushered into the fullness of God's blessing, where the joy of Eden will be ours for ever. Now that's something to look forward to. As you journey through this life that seem like a wilderness of temptations,  Christ victory is yours in Jesus name.

Avoid every appearances of evil that can lead you to sin against God

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare that the strength of the Almighty is upholding me. The grace of the LORD is sufficient for me. Christ's victory is mine and  I walk in daily victory over the wiles of the enemy in Jesus name

POWER TO MOVE MOUNTAINS

TOPIC: POWER TO MOVE MOUNTAINS

TEXT: "Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the Lord, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll
thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain (Jeremiah 51:25).

Jeremiah 51 describes how God would rise up against Babylon. While this chapter speaks of literal ancient Babylon, Revelation 17 depicts its symbolic sense, which is that Babylon always represents sin and resistance to God. Jeremiah 51:25 says God will burn the mountain of Babylon.

Then in Zechariah 4:7, the prophet also tells the mountain that it will become a plain, meaning that it will be destroyed. Mountains always speak of something considered immovable, so God destroying it makes the statement that all resistance must bow to Him. The next question is, what method did God use to destroy this resistant mountain? Zechariah 4:7 says the Lord instructed Zerubbabel to shout at the mountain and cry grace to it. This brings more understanding to when Jesus told His disciples they could literally speak to the mountain to remove it (see Mark 11:23-24). He was showing that they had the power to tear the mountain down or remove resistance by speaking. You have the ability speak to the mountain resisting you. It may be tempting to just keep looking at it and give in to worry, but Jesus gave you the power to speak to it. Go ahead, shout and tear the mountain down!

Confront whatever represents a mountain in your life by faith and prayer today

TOPIC: A NEW GLORIOUS CHAPTER

TEXT:  "And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house. And the name of the second called he Ephraim: for God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my
affliction" (Genesis 41:51-52).

God's wisdom n bringing us into a new day, a new month, and a new year is so that He could bring closure to certain things in our past and give us an opportunity to start over.
No matter what hardships you have been through, God always has a plan to move you forward to a new chapter.

Whether your hardships are from your distant past or they just occurred yesterday, God is always beckoning you to put that season of toil behind you. Notice in the verses above when Joseph called his firstborn Manasseh, it was because God had made him forget all his hardship and all his father’s house. Why all his father’s house? That is because to him, the years he spent growing up held a lot of bad memories and hurts. Maybe your upbringing or some events this year often brings such memories. Well, it’s time to move from that place and open a new chapter. You can’t move into your next season keeping your eyes on the Manasseh experience of your life. It is your Ephraim chapter, which in the Hebrew means double fruitfulness! (See Genesis 41:52.) Even negative experiences from this week will lose their ability to keep you down when you choose to forget your struggles. It’s time to forget the pain of yesterday and dwell instead on the blessings of tomorrow and wonderful fruit God is producing in your life. So welcome to a new and a glorious chapter of your life!

Put your past mistakes and hurt behind you and look forward to the new thing the LORD is about to bring to pass in your life

TEXT: STRENGTH TO CONQUER THE LAND

TEXT: "The Lord has kept me alive, as He has said, these forty five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses"

In Joshua 14 we read that Caleb asked for the portion of the inheritance that was promised him by Moses. At that time Caleb was already eighty five years old.

When his age mates were thinking of retirement or may be preparing for death, he was making moves that will significantly change his life and the life of others around him. He did not allow his advancing age to prevent him from believing that God would honour His promise given forty five years earlier (v:10-12). As one of the scouts sent out by Moses to spy the land, he saw large cities inhabited by powerful people of great stature ( num.13:28-33). But Caleb was faithful to God and believe that God would help Isreal conquer the land. At the age of eighty five years Caleb was still strong physically and his faith was unwavering. He trusted that God would help him conquer the land even though it still had Giants. Like Caleb, we must not allow, age, our personal giants, obstacles or unfulfilled promises- even as the year is been wound up- to prevent us from believing that God still and will honor His word to us.
So Joshua blessed Caleb with his portion of the land, fulfilling God forty five years old promise. Today, God is blessing you with the portion of what He promised you. Go and take possession!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Despise whatever you think is the reason for God not coming through for you.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that God's word concerning my life and destiny will not fail. I go into this day to experience rapid fulfillment of God's promises in my life in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, thank you for bringing me and my family into this new week in Jesus name.

*Father God, let your word begin to have speedy fulfillment in my life and career this week in Jesus name

*Father God, position me for divine fulfillment in Jesus name.

*Father God, let sudden battle against God's promises in my life causing delayed fulfillment be scatter by fire in Jesus name.

*Father God, let every hidden covenants raging against my inheritance and destiny possessions be dissolved in Jesus name

*Father God, let the powers sponsoring lateness in my destiny fulfillment catch fire now in Jesus name

*Father God, accelerate to fulfillment the divine events that still must happen year in my life in Jesus name

*Father God I reject carry over of 2018 blessing to 2019 in Jesus name.

*Father God, let your hand rest on my life for the the speed of the  over takers in Jesus name

*Father God, impart me with strength to confront and conquer the giants in my promise land in Jesus name
