TOPIC : SOLVING FAMILY PROBLEMS

TEXT: "In you shall all the families of the earth be blessed..."(12:3 KJV)

In other to to be a blessing to all the families of the earth, Abraham has to start from his own family. The family setting is the nucleous of a nation, the Church, and the society. When God created the world he handed it over to a family(Gen 1:26-28). In other words, whatever our world becomes its what the family has made it to be. A well love bonded family will naturally make a love bonded world, a blessed and godly family will make a blessed and godly world. Rearchers have found that most kids that ended up doing drugs and into all sorts of hideous crimes, came out of broken and dysfunctional homes. But if you must be blessed and be a blessing as a family, then you must learn to cope with difficulties that arises in the family setting. So take the following steps to handle such threats (1) Try to remember that you all have a destiny and a purpose to fulfil together. Dont take your frustrations out on your loved ones. Very often, home is where we go to find succour, love and acceptance. (2). Before you speak get the facts. Steven covey said in his book 'until you understand you cannot  be understood'. Lack of understanding is what creates. Mis-understanding. Nothing is more damaging than jumping into conclusions. Always approach issues from an inquiry side rather than from conclusive side. (3). Handle problems with wisdom. When you discover a problem think also of likely solutions. Make a list of options and hold on to that which is best (4) Find something good in the situation. A wise man said 'it's only because of problems that we grow mentally and spiritually. Its through the pain of confronting them that we learn' no matter how bad, every situation holds something positive, look out for it. (5) Resolve conflicts with love. Love always win not hate. Its okay to express the way you feel as long as you do it graciously. You might win an arguement but lose your spouse or children when its not done in love. When people feel loved they can weather any crisis. Think: when do you need God's love the most? When you deserve it the least! Try and follow suit. Its a new day for you and your family in Jesus name.

Today make up your mind to make your relationship work by adapting and  applying the above points the best way you can

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I and the family the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in this land. We are fruitful, we spreading a over the world, we are blessed to be a blessing in Jesus name. Amen!

* Father God,blet your Peace and love, begin to reign in my family now in Jesus name.

*Father God, let your overflowing blessing, begin to manifest in my family in Jesus name.

* O lord, by your mercy and the of the blood of Jesus, preserve and protect me and family for your glory in Jesus name

* Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
