TOPIC: BOLD PERSISTENT

TEXT : "Jesus answered and said to her, 'O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire"(Matthew 15:20).

I read that in 1953, a fledging business called Rocket Chemical Company and IRS staff of three set out to create a line of rust-prevention solvents and degreasers for use in the aerospace industry. It took them 40 attempts to perfect their formula. The original secret formula was successful at the 40th attempt and its still in use today. What a story of persistence!

The gospel of Matthew records another story of bold persistence. A canaanite woman had a daughter which was possessed of the devil. She had no hope for her daughter until she had that Jesus was in the region. This desperate woman came to Jesus because she believed He could help her. She cried out to Him even though everything and everyone seem to be against her; race, gender, religion, background, the disciples, satan and seemingly even Jesus(Matthew 15:22-27). With bold persistent she pushed through the dark corridors of of difficulty, desperate needs, and rejection. And the result? Jesus gave her what she desired by healing her daughter and commended her great faith.
We too are invited to approach Jesus with boldness and persistence. Though the year seem to be wounding up, let's keep asking, seeking and knocking and shortly we will find grace I'm our time of need. God created the world in 6 day, He can do unspeakable things in 6 hours.

TOPIC: DISCOVERING YOUR LIFE ASSIGNMENT

TEXT: "Before I made you in your mothers womb I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work"(Jeremiah 1:5 NVC).

AS we get set to enter the new year it's important that we understand that everyone in the kingdom of God have been chosen to do something special. We all have been given a unique assignment with a unique giftings to get the job done. Meaning that you have both been called and loaded to fulfil destiny. There are no two people that can do what you do the way you can do it. God has given you that special ' something' that makes you stand out from the pack. You are in your own class, created to rule your world. To put it in a nutshell, you are God's master tool created to produce a masterpiece on earth. What's unfortunate is that many came into this world loaded and went back still loaded with what God gave them to affect their world. What the world will celebrate you for is the lives that were touched during your sojourn here on earth, how many benefitted from your assignment. That's why the enemy is fighting you so hard. he is afraid of your assignment! You will have to keep fighting so you will lay hold on those things for which you've been called and raised by God.
How do I step into God's assignment for my life, you may ask:
1) God will show you. Every great thing begins with God. Ask Him and He will show you.
2) Watch out for those desires and the things that unlocks your compassion. Compassion is what releases God's power. What are those things that move you to take action when you see them in the society, they are the things that God's given you the power to heal.
3) You must be available to make your contribution. Endowment without disbursement is an abuse of potentials. Look for opportunities to meet needs. Jesus said "freely you've received, freely give"(Matthew 10:8). Many times you will need to look away from your own needs to focus on the needs of others. Selflessness is the capital price of fulfilling your assignment. And the more you meet the needs of others, the more God will raise people to meet your needs.

Spend time to pray and ask God for directions on how He wants you to function in the coming year

TOPIC: EXPECT GOD'S LAST MINUTE MIRACLES

TEXT: "Abraham believed in the Lord, and it accounted to him for righteousness" (Genesis 15:6)

AS the year is gradually been wound up and everyone is getting ready for the coming year, we should not lose the fact that the Lord can still do something great in our lives before the year is over. God created the world in six day more than 96 hours is too much for him to do anything in your life.

Somethings actually take time to happen,
any mother can tell you waiting to give birth is an experience that builds patience. But pity the poor elephant. It takes about 22 months for an unborn elephant to mature to birth! The shark known spiny dogfish has a pregnancy duration of 22-24 months.

Abraham could have identified with these examples from nature. In his old age, the Lord made a promise to him: 'I will make you a great nation"(Gen 12:2). But as the years passed, Abraham questioned how the fulfilment of the promise was possible without even the basic building block of a son. Medically speaking he is old and Sarah had passed the age of child bearing. So God assured him, "One who will come from your own body shall be your heir"(v;4).
Despite his advance age, Abraham believed God and was called righteous(v:6). Yet he waited 25 years from the time of the initial promise for Issac to be born.
Waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled and believing to the last hour is part of trusting Him. No matter how long the delay, we must wait for him. As the writer of Hebrews remind us "let us hold fast our confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful(Hebrew 10:23). Abraham held on to the last hour of his life. Till his answers came. God always performs what he promised. Expect your last minute miracle!

TOPIC: GOD HOLDS YOUR FUTURE

TEXT: Hebrew 11:8
"By faith Abraham obeyed...And he went out not knowing where he was going"

Life is a journey of faith. It's linked to various transitions and movements from one place to another. And from one season to another.
When Abraham was 75 years old, God called him to leave the land of his father. And so, advanced in years, he departed for the land of Canaan. He was rootless and homeless "not knowing where he was going.(Hebrew 11:8). That was the story of Abraham's Life.
Every season that comes and goes bring changes and uncertainties to our lives. As we are about stepping into the new year, its like transmitting from a familiar to an uncertain future. Like Abraham, many of us might be wondering what tomorrow holds. Particularly when all the news reports about the world socio-economic well being is not very encouraging.
Yet we can be confident that our well being is not founded on the economic premise of this world, but upon God Himself. Our safekeeping does not lie in the place we live but in the presence of God. We can dwell in the secret place of the most high, and abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1). There in His presence, under His wings, we find refuge(v:4). The eternal God becomes our dwelling place and our sustenance.
Though our dwelling place here on earth may be uncertain, God will be our companion and friend till we realise and fulfil the glorious destiny He has ordained for us.

In the remaining days of this year, take some time to reflect and prepare for the coming year

TOPIC: THE PREEMINENT ONE

TEXT: "He is before all things, and in Him all things consist....that in all things He may have the preeminence"(Colosian 1:17-18)

We can never overstate the greatness of Christ. As the preeminent person in history, he is worthy of our love and our praise. In his classic book The pursuit of God, A W Tozer said, his love for the person of Christ was so intense that it threatened to consume him; it burned within him and flowed from his lips like molten gold. In one of his sermons he said 'wherever we turn in the Church of God, there is Jesus. He is the beginning, middle and the end of everything to us. There is nothing good, nothing holy, nothing beautiful, nothing joyous which He is not to his servants He is everything that means anything to us....no one need to be downcast, for Jesus is the joy of heaven, and it is His joy to enter into sorrowful hearts. We exaggerate about many things, but we can never exaggerate our obligation to Jesus, or compassionate abundant love of Jesus to us. All our lives long we might talk of Jesus, and yet we would never come to an end of the sweet things that might be said of Him.
In this yuletide season let's lift a glad hosannas of praise to the King of kings. Jesus deserves our loving adoration. He truly is the preeminent one! The reason for not just this season, but the reason for every seasons of our lives.

TOPIC: CHANGING HISTORY

TEXT " There is born to you this day in the city of David, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord"(Luke 2:12)

There are many events that have changed and shaped the course of history but none can be compared to the descent of Jesus, whose life has not only changed several generations but many generations yet unborn.

Today, we can make international calls, stream live videos, do conference voice and video calls and download tons images into our computer and devices. Its difficult to imagine that all of these was made possible by a small satellite the size of a soccer ball. On October 4 1957, the Soviet union launched an artificial satellite called Sputnik 1, and ushered in the modern Space age and changed the course of history. Nations rushed to catch up, technological development accelerated, and fear alternated with hope about the meaning of it all for all humanity.
But the event that alter the present and the future sometimes occur in obscurity. That was true of the birth of Jesus. Just one baby, born to an ordinary couple in a small town of Bethlehem. But it changed the course of history.. The words of an Angel spoken to the Shepherd began to spread: "There is born you this day in the city of David, a Saviour , who is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:11).
When we open our lives to Christ the Lord and acknowledge Him as Saviour, the course of our future history is changed for time and eternity. These good things of great Joy" are for everyone and everywhere. Its definitely for you today. Merry Christmas

TOPIC: GOD'S SURPRISING ANSWERS

TEXT: "Oh, that you would rend the heavens! That you would come down! (Isa.64: 1)

"Rend the heavens" and come down" pleaded the Prophet Isaiah. Make your name known by making the mountains shake and the nations tremble, he advised the Lord (Isaiah 64:1-3).
Isaiah wanted God to behave as he had in the past. Recalling the scripture about God's visit with Moses on Mt. Sinai, Isaiah longed for a repeat performance.
But God had already told Isaiah that he would be doing something new. "Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them(42:9)
The "something new" was Jesus! God did indeed come down. But not in Isaiah's lifetime. And not in dramatic fashion he longed for. "He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street"(42:2). He came in the unassuming form of an infant.
Many of us can remember a situation when God was amazingly timely in His response to our need. Like Isaiah, we want God to do the same thing again. But perhaps He has something else in mind. As you celebrate God's humble descent to earth, be aware that He came to change our hearts, not just our circumstances. God's answers to our prayers may exceed our expectations.

TOPIC: WHAT'S IN A NAME

TEXT: Luke 1: 31
".....And shall call His name Jesus

Names are important. Parents may spend months researching deciding on the perfect name of their baby. Often, the final decision is based on their meaning, how it sounds,and uniqueness. There are people that God changed their names in the Bible so as to establish their destiny. And for those of us that trust in Jesus as our saviour and are from that time on identified by His name, experience a transformation that the name brings.

There is a powerful significance attached to the name of Jesus. The Apostles performed miracles (Acts 3:6-7,16; 4:10) and cast out demons in His name (Luke 10:17). They spoke and taught in the name of Jesus. They baptize believers in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:38). And its through the name of Jesus that we have access to the father(Acts 4:12).
When we become Christians we share in that worthy name. And as we follow Christ, we are able to reflect His light to any darkness we encounter, whether in our neighbourhood, workplace or home. Our prayer should be that when people see us they will see Christ.
Our name may have meaning or significance. But let's use this season to seek God deeper, so as to connect to the deeper revelation of the name of Jesus, because the name of Jesus is the name that has the power to transform.

Spend sometime to meditate on the name of Jesus

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus is Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that in the name of JESUS I walk in total victory, and celebrate the goodness of God in this season. Amen

TOPIC : LIVING THE BETTER LIFE

TEXT: "How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver"(Proverbs 16:16).

People all over the world are always looking for the better items, better health services, better service delivery etc. Politicians all over the world win elections by promising a 'better' life for their people. We examine, we ponder and finally make a choice based on what we believe is better. I've have never heard anybody saying 'this one is worse, so I will take it'. Everybody wants a better life, but how do we get it.

The book of proverbs is full of comparisons that points us toward the right pathway in life, showing us what's batter for us. So its not strange to find statements saying 'this is better than that'
In the book of proverbs chapter 16, we read its better to get wisdom than gold or silver(vs 16).: better to be humble among the poor than to be proud among the wealthy (v 19): better to control our temper than to rule a city (v32). Some have the ability to be both wise and wealthy, but when faced with choice between the two, Proverbs says wisdom is the better alternative. old men shall dream dreams: and on my servants
and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those
days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy"

This Scripture in Acts 2 is talking about the last
days we are living in. As we watch Bible
prophecy unfold and as the days become more
evil, we need visions and dreams from Heaven
more than ever.
Particularly as we go into a new year, we need to be able to access divine secrets of things that God has prepared for us in this new season and also to be able to receive divine directions into those new realms that God wants us to walk in.

Visions, dreams, and prophetic
utterances have been given by God to help us
walk through the challenges of the last days.
Begin to expect visions and dreams to operate in
your life. Of course, I am not encouraging us to
become so spooky and goofy with visions and overly
focused on them, but they do have their proper
place. The Lord will use them to keep us one
step ahead of the devil and to gain Heaven’s
perspective on many of the countless modern-
day issues we are facing. If we want these
manifestations, the key is to walk humbly and
closely to
God and be accountable to other believers. Then
from there, begin to believe in your life that
visions from God shall be seen!

TOPIC: MAKE ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT

TEXT: "And he will shew you a large upper room
furnished and prepared: there make ready for us"(Mark 15:14)

The upper room was more than just a physical
location. It had prophetic significance. It was
where Jesus shared communion with the
disciples and a preparation place for the coming
of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1, we find the people
gathered there anticipating the arrival of God’s
Spirit. Every believer should be an “upper room”
believer. That means we make our spirit a
preparation place for the Holy Spirit’s presence.
We prepare our “upper room” by making our
heart a place of communion. That could be the
literal communion meal, but it also is a place of
communion with the Father in prayer. Then, like
the people in the book of Acts, we wait for the
move of the Holy Spirit in our
lives. The word wait in Acts 1:4 means to stand
in a place of prayerful expectancy! In other
words, you are doing whatever is necessary for
the power of the Holy Spirit to be on your life. If
you will commune with the Father and wait for
the Holy Spirit this way, you will become an
“upper room” believer prepared to bring the
wonders of God to a dark
and needy world!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Enlarge the place of heart today by removing whatever will not allow the Holy Spirit make His abode in you.

TOPIC: HOPING AGAINST HOPE

TEXT: "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when
the desire cometh, it is a tree of life".(Pro. 13:12)

There are things we know God has promised us,
but because they haven’t manifested as quickly as we hoped we can become discouraged. Hope
is a desire for something that we see in the
distance. It isn’t directly upon us, but we see it
coming. It’s like a kid looking at
a piece of candy through a store window. He can
see it, almost taste it, and he knows that all it
takes is for a few things to happen before the
candy is his!
I believe the Lord wants to turn those delayed
hopes into the reality of fulfilled desire. Hebrews
11:1 tells us that faith is what makes the thing
we are hoping for a reality. It becomes the
physical evidence that it’s ours, rather than the
seemingly long distance between us and our
desires. We often have more “faith” in the
distance between us and our desires than we do
in God’s supernatural ability to fulfill them.
Refresh your hope today and let it cause the
fulfillment of your heart’s deepest longings to
seem closer than ever before. Believe the time is
upon you. The year is not permitted to end till your expectations are granted.

TOPIC: THE TREASURE WITHIN THE PRESSURE

TEXT: "I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness"(Isaiah 45:3 NLT).

Life can be quite challenging and many times we are brought under untold pressure and
sometimes God doesn't tell us why because He wants us to know who. In Psalm 23 David goes from talking about God, 'The Lord is my Shepherd' to talking to Him, 'Thou art with me'. What happened in between, David learnt that no matter how dark the way is, God is always there to guide us. He realised that its better to walk through the valley with God than to stand on the mountain top alone. God doesn't always light the path in advance, but He promised 'when thou passeth through the water I will be with thee, and through the river they shall not overflow thee"(.Isaiah 42:7). When you feel like you are out of your depth or in over your head, claim the promise! Job had many unanswered questions, but when he began to understand the difference between reason and relationship he told God, 'I heard about you before, now I have seen you.(Job 42:5TLB). When you can't find the reason, trust the relationship. God won't fail you!

Contrary to what you may think, challenges are not always the work of the devil. Sometimes its one of God's best teaching tools. "About the fourth watch of the night, He came to them walking on the sea...and when they saw Him...they were greatly amazed...beyond measure, and marvelled"(Mark 6:48-51NKJV). 'To you the darkness shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you(Psalm239:12). Instead of running from your challenges, ask God to open your eyes to the treasure within your pressure. And He will!

TOPIC: OVERCOMING BAD DREAMS

TEXT: Proverbs 3:25

"Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes"

All of us have had one bad dream or the other, perhaps we are falling from a high building, fleeing from from masquerades or hideous creatures, or worse seeing dead relatives in our dreams. The fears that some of these dreams create can be overwhelming. The fact is, the name of Jesus has freed us from every form of fear.
We read in John 6 that Jesus' disciples were afraid when in the dimness of the nightfall they saw a strange figure walking on the stormy sea of Galilee. But the mysterious figure was not part of the bad dream--He was real. Matthew reports that they " cried out for fear"(14:26). Then the disciples heard a familiar voice: "It is I; do not be afraid"(John 6:20). It was Jesus. Their fears were calmed, as well as the sea.
The saviour speaks the same assurance to us today amid the many fears in our christian journey. Solomon said"The name of the Lord is strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe" (Proverbs 18:20).
Fears will come, but we are assured that Jesus is always the a light in the darkness.
You need not fear the darkness, if you are walking with the light of the world.

You can cancel every bad dream with the blood of Jesus Christ

TOPIC: COUNT YOUR BLESSING'S

TEXT: "Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you...might become rich"(2Corinthians 8:9)

Sometimes ago a journalist offered his readers "9 tips for investing in happiness". Interestingly, one of his suggestions was "count your many blessings". He urges us not to brood over the riches of our neighbours but to focus on the many blessings we actually do possess. That's wise counsel, provided that we realise our spiritual wealth in Jesus is immeasurably more valuable than any material possessions.

God didn't give us the Bible as a guidebook for happiness. Yet it tells us how we can eternally be joyful and how we can experience joy on our way to that eternal happiness. So its enlightening to compare biblical truth with common sense advice.
"Godliness with contentment is great gain." Paul wrote to Timothy. The Apostle wanted his protégé to understand that being grateful for the basics of life would help keep him from the trap of covetousness.
So let's focus on the wonders of God's grace, training ourselves to make a spirit of gratitude pervade our lives. That's the way to experience joy today and to be forever joyful

TOPIC: MAINTAIN GOD'S PEACE IN YOUR LIFE

TEXT: "You will keep him in perfect peace" (isaiah 26:2)

We lose our peace of mind for four reasons: 1) We try to change the people in our lives. As you grow older and wiser, you realise that you can't change other people, only God can! And He does when you back off and love them as they are. This doesn't mean agreeing with everything the do, it means committing to love them regardless, claiming God's promises on their behalf and allowing Him to deal with them His own way, in His time, and for His glory. May be the reason you are all stressed out is because you are trying to do something about something you can't do anything about..
2)We try to make things happen when its not the right time. 'There is a time for everything..."(Ecclesiastes 3:1). If you've raised children you will know that one of their chief characteristics is impatience. They can't wait for anything. God wants us to outgrow our childishness so He makes us wait, trust and mature!
3) We get upset because we are not progressing fast enough. You can slow down your spiritual growth through neglect but ultimately..."we all..are..being changed by the Spirit (2Corinthians 3:18). So keep on enjoying your life while you God works on your problems.
4)We keep driving ourselves harder and harder without asking what God wants. We do what we think God wants, without trying to know what He actually wants, when He wants it and and how He wants it done. As a result, we keep working harder without getting the desired result. What's the solution? Let your heart fully stay on Him. Absolute trust must trust in God absolutely!

TOPIC : FOLLOW HARD AFTER GOD

TEXT: "The multitude... cried out, saying "Hossana to the son of David" (Matthew 21: 9)

If you follow sports at all, you know that sport fans can change like the weather. A teams player can hear seventy thousand cheering voices if he does well or seventy thousand booing voices if he messes up.
Sport figures easily fall from grace because people are fickle--eager to follow the one who makes them feel good, yet willing to turn against that same person if all does not go well.
Scriptures contains of examples of fickleness that is far more serious. A great multitude in Jerusalem, praised, honored and cheered Jesus on the Sunday He entered the city riding on the donkey(Matthew 21:6-11). But just a few days later, some of those same people may have been in the crowd calling for Jesus' crucifixion (27:20-23). On Sunday, they worshipped Him, but on Friday they didn't want Him around anymore.
Let's not waver in our relationship with the Lord. Sometimes we worship Jesus heartily on Sunday, but the very next day we live as if we find His presence repulsive and intrusive. Or we tell him on Sunday that we love Him, then fail to obey Him throughout the week.
Don't be a fickle follower, be a committed follower--worship Him every day, not just on Sundays. Worshipping God should be a full time experience. So stay focused and follow hard after Him today

Life is a gift that God has give us all and that life is meant to be invested to benefit those around us as we live to fulfil God's assignment for our lives.
in business we talk about the 'mark up'. It's your net profit, your bottom line reward. Here is the truth that you need to know: When you live for yourself and fail to fulfil your destiny and live for what matters, the 'mark up' will not be worth the investment. Solomon writes, 'so I turned in despair from hard work, it was not the answer for my satisfaction in this life. For though I do my work with wisdom knowledge and skill, I must leave everything I gain to people who haven't worked to earn it. This is not only foolish but highly unfair(Eccl.2:18 NIV). Or as John Cappozi puts it, 'The executive who works from 7am to 7pm everyday will be successful. He will also be fondly remembered by his wife's next husband.
The day is coming when the stuff you've striven, strained and stressed out to squire will make no difference. Your resume and job title will no longer impress anyone. No one will care what cloths you wore or what car you drove, except your relatives who plan to wear them, drove them or sell them. If you can you will plan to exit this life with a 'mark up'. And that involves these three things : a) The satisfaction that comes from having fulfilled your life assignment here on earth . b) The success that's measured in terms of eternal rewards rather than temporal ones. c) The security that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. These are the only things that's important and are worth living for! .

TEXT: "You have been wondering around long enough, turn ...(Deut. 2:3).

God's plan for your life always involve three things: your gift, His timing, and being in the right place at the right time. But these things can keep that from happening, fear of failing, unwillingness to leave your comfort zone, and been swayed by the opinion of others. The point came where in order to enter the promised land, God said to Isreal, you have been wondering around long enough; turn...(Debut. 2:3). When you reach this point its crucial that you say yes to God and be willing to step out in faith.

During famine God said to Elijah: " Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there". So he did what the Lord had told him...and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook"(1King 17:3-6NIV). God's plan for your life is always connected to a place. Jesus ' had to go through Samaria' (John 4:4). Why? To meet a woman who was destined to reach that city with the gospel. You can't just go where you like, God will honour you when you are where He wants you to be. God has promised to bless you, but sometimes He has to reposition you in order to receive His blessing. It was when Ruth moved to Bethlehem that she met Boaz and married him. It was when Bartimaeus went to where Jesus was that he received his sight. God has an appointed place for the fulfilment if your destiny. You will get there!

TOPIC: THE EFFECTS OF PRAISE

TEXT: "....I will praise you more and more..."(Psalm71:14NLT)

Don't limit yourself to worshipping God in Church. Be like the psalmist: 'I will bless the Lord at all times...'(Psalm34:1). When you don't feel like praising God but you do it because you want to please Him, that called the sacrifice of praise. And when praise becomes a lifestyle it has a domino effect (that's where one change causes another, which in turn causes another). When you tell God how wonderful He is, how much you love him and want to spend time with Him, you are likely to find your mate telling you how wonderful you are, how much they love and enjoy being around you. Over time your family and friends begin to feel the effect. On the other hand, when you withhold from God the praise He deserves, you deprive yourself of what you need in your life. David said '...Magnify the Lord with me...let us exalt his name together' (Psalm34:3). God inhabits (occupies, sets up house in). The praise of His people(Psalm22:3NKJV). When you tell Him, 'you are wonderful, there is no problem you can't solve and no need you can't meet. I am casting all my cares on you. I know you love me and I'm not going to give in to depression and defeat. I'm trusting you to conquer my enemies, break down the doors that are locked and give me victory, 'God sends Angels to fight and win the battle on your behalf (Heb1:14). No wonder David said "....I will praise you more and more. (Psalm 71:14). It works! Isn't it time you started thinking along the same line?

TOPIC: 7 THINGS THE ANOINTING WILL DO IN YOUR LIFE

1. Healing.
Just like when the good
Samaritan ministered to the man who had
been robbed, stripped, and left for dead
( Luke 10:33-34 ), the minute God’s
anointing starts to flow on you, it will heal
you. Your heart will be healed. He will
restore your health. And you will become a
minister of His healing power. That is
promised in God’s Word.

2. Revelation.
The anointing will change your
life. Exodus 25:6 talks about the oil
that brings light. It pierces the darkness
and illuminates everything around it.
Nothing can stop it because the anointing
is the overflow of Christ’s life. And once
the anointing starts to flow over you, it
brings revelation knowledge, allowing you
to move into a supernatural walk with
God.

3. Provision.
In 1 Kings 17:14 , we read
about Elijah and the widow of Zarephath.
She desperately needed a miracle. All she
had left for herself and her son was a
handful of meal and a small amount of oil.
God performed a life-changing miracle for
her, multiplying her offering far beyond
anything she could have dreamed. The oil
did not fail. And today, when God moves
in your life, the oil begins to flow, meeting
every need in your life. There will be no
lack. That’s what God wants for you
today. He is moving mightily upon the
earth—as you seek Him with your whole
heart, the oil will flow on you, and every
need in your life will be met!

4. Debt-free living.
A widow came to Elisha
and cried out about the debts that had
overtaken her and her sons after her
husband’s death ( 2 Kings 4:1-7 ). God
used all she had, a pot of oil—it multiply
supernaturally, and she was able to pay
off all her debts!

5. Deliverance.
David spoke of the oil of
anointing ( Psalm 23:1-5 ) and how it
delivered him from all his enemies. Not
only that, but he also spoke of God’s
faithfulness in protecting him when he
wrote, “Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I
will dwell in the house of the Lord for
ever.”

6. Faith.
We are told that the watchman, of
Isaiah 21:5 , was directed to anoint the
shield. Just as oil was used then, the oil
of God’s anointing must be used today.
Faith must be activated and released,
then God will protect you with the shield
of faith because of that anointing. Today,
regardless of your circumstances, He
wants to release a mighty anointing on
your life to protect you, completely and
totally, but you must first activate it!

7. Blessings.
Psalm 133 speaks about the
precious oil of anointing that flowed over
Aaron, then God directed the high priest
to command His blessings: “The Lord
commanded the blessing, even life for
evermore” (verse 3) upon the children of
Israel. Today, He commands the blessings
on you through His Word. He even says,
“All the promises of God in him are yea,
and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by
us” ( 2 Corinthians 1:20 ).

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Invoke a special anointing on your life today.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me and the anointing is overflowing in my life in Jesus name. Amen

TOPIC: THE OIL OF THANKSGIVING

Text: "If one offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall
offer with the thank offering unleavened cakes
mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with
oil, and cakes of fine flour mixed with oil" (Lev. 7:12 AMP)

This is our month of Thanksgiving celebration and many of us already have a lot to be thankful for. As we are preparing to cross over into the coming year, it's also important for to prepare a list of all the good things The LORD has done for us this year so we can offer an acceptable sacrifice of thanksgiving to Him.

When God taught the priests of the Old
Testament to bring an offering of thanksgiving
before Him, they were instructed to bring it in
the form of unleavened cakes mixed with oil.
These two elements are key ingredients that
have prophetic significance for us in how we
offer praise to the Lord today. We know the
unleavened bread represented purity and a holy
lifestyle (see 1 Cor. 5:6-8). Oil represents the
anointing of the Holy Spirit. Notice in the verse
above that the unleavened cakes were brushed
over with oil.
When we offer thanksgiving to the Lord in the
environment of a holy lifestyle, the oil of the
Holy Spirit washes over us and our lives literally
become covered in the anointing. One of the
ways David offered thanksgiving to God all
through the Book of Psalms was to rehearse a
list of things God had done for him. Rehearse to
God the good He has done for you and allow that
praise to cause the oil of a fresh anointing to
wash over every aspect of your life today. As you begin to do this all though this day and this month, miracles and blessing will be sure to
follow. So rejoice.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

In all things learn to give thanks by making a list of all He has done for you.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. And I declare this day that the oil of gladness and great joy is flowing in my life. I receive the garment of praise today for the spirit of heaviness in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS
*Farther God, thank you for your faithfulness and mercy over my life and family in Jesus name.

TOPIC: WISDOM TO NUMBER YOUR DAYS

TEXT: "....seventy...or...eighty years ...pass quickly.."(Psalm 90:10 NCV)

Our soul aren't hungary for fame, comfort, wealth or power. Those things create as many problems as they solve. Our soul is hungary for meaning. We want our lives to count for something great and important. The psalmist writes, our lifetime is seventy years or, if we are strong, eighty...'(Psalm 90:10NCV). Eighty years is just under 30,000 days, thinks about that in financial terms: 25,000,000 will buy a car or build you a little house. Its not that much money and its not that much time. None of us know how many years we have left, but we know how many we've been given till now. If you have to draw a line and add them up, eternally speaking, what would you have to show for your life? Job said, 'my days fly faster than a weaver's shuttle...(Job 7:6NTL). Bryan Wilkerson said in his book: 'Teen count the number of friends they have, the numbers of colleges they get into. College students count grade points...credit hours...how many beers they can drink. Adults measure success by the number of bedrooms in their house, cars in their garage...or the yield on their investments. Most make two mistakes...they think they have so much time they can afford to waste it, or so little time they can't possibly do something significant, so they don't try. Our days are like suitcases all the same size but some can pack more into them than others. 'A person who chases fantasies has no sense, (Proverbs 12:11NLT). Numbering your days means offering them to God and seeking His direction for your life.

Seek God daily for His direction so you can make your life count

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that I am recovering lost time in my life and I receive all that God has for me this year in Jesus name. Amen.

TOPIC: NO FAILED PLANS

TEXT: "I have...plan to give you the future you hope for" (Jeremiah 29:11TM).

God has great plans for your life and destiny. In Jeremiah 29:11 we have a great promise in not so great chapter. If things are not going too well in your life at the moment, this verse is for you.
God's people were leaving in slavery in Babylon. Why? Because of their disobedience to God. And worse, Babylon was a pagan country. It wasn't the kind of place you want to be as a christian, it was a moral spiritual wasteland. And top of that, the Isrealite's own preachers were leading them astray. So God told them, ' Don't let those so called preachers and know it all's..take you in their lies(Jer. 39:8-9TM). Yet in the midst of all these, along comes the God of hope saying, 'I still have a plan for you. Its not over till I say so. I'm going to turn things around for you. Your best days are ahead.
You say 'How do you know God has a plan for me? Because you are still breathing! He has a plan for every single person He ever created, and it never go out of date. Unlike the milk in your supermarket that has an expiration date on it after which it can't be used, God's plans doesn't have an expiration dates. Even if you missed His plan entirely for years, that plan can still swing into action the moment you turn the control of your life to Him and fall in line with His will. Now, your plan might be somewhat modified from from what it would have been twenty years ago if you had paid attention, but that doesn't stop God. He can adapt to fit anything that comes up in any life that's ever lived including yours. So, there is hope for you because if the plan of God cannot fail you will not fail!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Make yourself available to do God's will every day so He can make a way for you

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am walking and fulfilling God's divine plan for my life and destiny. I take hold of all the benefits that God has loaded into this season for me in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS
*Father God, I thank you for your grace and mercy over my life and family in Jesus name.
*Father God, I submit to your plan for my life. Have your way in Jesus name.
*Father God, let the grace to fulfill destiny rest on me now in Jesus name

*Father God, let the testimony that will make the enemy envious of your goodness in my life manifest in Jesus name
