TOPIC: THE PREEMINENT ONE

TEXT: "He is before all things, and in Him all things consist....that in all things He may have the preeminence"(Colosian 1:17-18)

We can never overstate the greatness of Christ. As the preeminent person in history, he is worthy of our love and our praise. In his classic book The pursuit of God, A W Tozer said, his love for the person of Christ was so intense that it threatened to consume him; it burned within him and flowed from his lips like molten gold. In one of his sermons he said 'wherever we turn in the Church of God, there is Jesus. He is the beginning, middle and the end of everything to us. There is nothing good, nothing holy, nothing beautiful, nothing joyous which He is not to his servants He is everything that means anything to us....no one need to be downcast, for Jesus is the joy of heaven, and it is His joy to enter into sorrowful hearts. We exaggerate about many things, but we can never exaggerate our obligation to Jesus, or compassionate abundant love of Jesus to us. All our lives long we might talk of Jesus, and yet we would never come to an end of the sweet things that might be said of Him.
In this yuletide season let's lift a glad hosannas of praise to the King of kings. Jesus deserves our loving adoration. He truly is the preeminent one! The reason for not just this season, but the reason for every seasons of our lives.

Celebrate Jesus  in your heart today and everyday

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that nothing shall take me from the love Jesus. I lay hold of the benefits  of redemption in Jesus name. Amen

*Father God, thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ into the world to give me new life
*Father God, give deeper revelations of the person of Christ in Jesus name
*Father God, let the reason you sent your son into the world become a reality in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, let the light of your glory continue to shine brighter and brighter in Jesus name
*Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
