LIGHT FOR THE WAY
(Daily Devotional)
Teusday 11th October 2016
Topic: The Glory Of God Is Upon You
Text: "And it came to pass, when Moses came down
from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony
in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the
mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his
face shone while he talked with him" (Exodus
34:29).
When Moses spent time with God, the visible
presence of God was seen on his face. Of
course, Moses didn’t realize it until he saw how
people around him responded. The Bible says the
people were afraid to come near him. However,
Moses reassured them by putting a veil on his
face as he spoke with them. The Lord has placed
a tangible presence of His Spirit on your life. This glow of God's glory will draw people and favour into your life.
While not everyone can handle the full level of
glory that you carry, you need to present it to
them in way they can receive. Moses was wise
enough to know that he needed to present the
glory in a way that made it a little easier for the
people. Once he did that they came near him
again. He didn’t apologize for the glory nor did
he explain it away, he just found a way to draw
the people in so he could talk with them.
As you talk with people about the Gospel or
minister to them in the anointing, engage them in
common conversation that will draw them in and
make them feel comfortable. As you do, trust
from there that the anointing will do the rest to
draw them in because the glory of God’s
presence is upon you.
*PRAYER*
Lord, I thank You that the glory is upon me.
Teach me how to present it to people in a way
that draws them in, and I trust that Your presence
will minister to them in a powerful way. In Jesus’
Name, amen.
