TOPIC: TRIUMPHING
THROUGH ENDURANCE
TEXT: "The
testing of your faith produces endurance"(James 1:3NAS).
Endurance means 'staying the course'. But
endurance is only a mere word until you have to deal with a strife-torn
marriage, the long road back from bankruptcy, divorce or illness, the
rebuilding of your life, or the required preparation for success in any field.
It takes faith and commitment to keep going when friends fail you,
discouragement whispers ' give up' and doubts say 'it can't be done'. That's
when you need to listen to another voice that tells you to keep going regardless
of the challenges. Strong faith in God is the backbone of endurance. It becomes
your anchor in the storm, your compass in times of confusion, and the head of
steam that gets you up the next hill. Remember, God knows when to discontinue a
trial in your life because it purpose has been fulfilled. And He gave us two
great promises:
1) His
comforting presence. (Isaiah 43:2-5).
2) The
assurance that He won't permit more pressure than we can handle (1Corinthians
10:13).
But there
is another reason, others are watching! Apostle Paul writes, 'People are
watching us as we stay at our post... Working hard, working late, without
eating, with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness and
honest love; when we are telling the truth...when God's showing His power; when
we are doing our best setting things right; when we are praised and when we are
blamed; slandered and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by
the world, but recognized by God...immersed in tears yet always filled with
deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all
(1Corithians6:1-10 TM). That's how to triumph through endurance.
WORD CONFESSION
I am an evidence that
Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare that God is at work in me. The Lord
is with me like a mighty man of war therefore my adversaries shall fall. I will
not fail or falter. My mouth is filled with songs of victory today in Jesus
name
PRAYER POINTS
*Father thank you for
bringing me and my family into this new day in Jesus name
*O Lord God, grant me
the grace to outlast the challenges of my life in Jesus name
*O Lord God let your
power convert my story to your glory in Jesus name
*Every power extending
battles in my life be destroyed in Jesus name
*I command every power
keeping me on the waiting list of breakthroughs and miracles break by fire in
Jesus name
*O Lord God open unending
doors of joy and testimony over the issues of my life in Jesus name
*O Lord God let the
evidence of your mercy in my life be the next good news that will be told
globally in Jesus name
*O Lord God make this a
day of great joy and glad for me through your great works in Jesus name
*Thank you Lord for
bringing me into my season of celebration in Jesus name
