TOPIC: LIVING IN GOD'S FAVOUR

TEXT:.  "We have been approved by God" (1 Thessalonia 2:4).

Divine is favour is  God's  stamp of approval. Living in the favour of God is so liberating! It frees you from trying to please everyone, worrying about what others think. When you are addicted no matter how much of your drug of choice you never get enough of it. And like all junkies, you go crazy when the drug is withheld. Those addicted to human endorsements are always at the mercy of other people's opinion. As a result their lives become an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows. Paul was free to speak the truth in love to confront people, or be gentle with them. When someone told Paul they didn't like him, he didn't lose sleep over it. That's because his life wasn't built on their approval, 'We have been aprroved by God'. Paul didn't go around needing to (a) compare himself with others (b) demostrate his superiority (c) impress or compete with others (d) be the top do or the one that's always in charge. 

Living in God's favour set him free from such ulcer inducing anxiety amd meant he could enjoy the life God called him to live. When we are young and insecure we tend to worry about what others thinks of us. But as we become more mature, we realise that most of the time they weren't thinking about us at all. They were too busy worrying about what we thought of them!

Living in God's favour frees us from all that stress. It gives us the strength to deal with critism and conflict, because we know our indentity. And our identity is this: we are God's redeemed children. And since we are accepted and endorsed by Him, nothing else matters!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Today walk in the confidence that you have been endorsed by God

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Therefore I declare today that I walk in God's favour,  therefore i an blessed in the city and in the country, by God's favour my life is shifting level upward and forward, doors are opened unto me in high places in Jesus name! 

 

PRAYER POINTS

*Father I thank you for your faithfulness and mercy in my life and family

*Father God, thank you for this day that you have made for me and my family to rejoice.

*Father God, let your  favour rebrand my life, career and destiny in Jesus name

*Father God, let your hand of divine approval rest on my life this day for sign, wonders and miracles in Jesus name.

*Father God, by the authority in the name of Jesus l command any demonic obstacle on my way this day to be uprooted now in Jesus name

*Father God, let your seal of divine endorsement rest on my life and everything I do this week in Jesus name.

*Father God, let every spiritual  garment of disfavor and rejection placed upon my life in spirit be destroyed by fire in Jesus name 

*Father God,  let every aura of darkness , disfavor and disappointment around me disappear by fire in Jesus name

Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
