TOPIC: VICTORY OVER DISCOURAGEMENT

TEXT: "We get knocked down, but we get up again. 2Corinthians 4:9TLB)

Failure can feel like a punch in the gut. And when it keeps happening it's tempting just to give up. What the enemy would normally whisper is 'you did all that last week, what have you got to show for it, why don't don't you just forget the whole thing and...' But you can't give up; you must get up again and go! Failing doesn't make you a failure, quitting does. The man who is a winner and a success today was once a 'failure' who never quit. H.E and Jenner said, 'the man who wins may have been counted out several times, but he didn't hear the referee.' A failure free life feels safe, but it fosters boredom, apathy and low self esteem. Ever noticed that the devil never reminds you of what you've learned? No, he wants you to keep on reliving the painful details. Learn the lesson, then forget the details! Victory requires building on what you've learned, then move on. It's been said that ' Great occasions don't make heroes or cowards, they simply unveils them...silently, as we wake or sleep, we grow strong or weak, and at last some crisis show us what we've become. Challenges are the backbone of Champions. Boxing Champs are made in the ring not in the gym. You may have gotten knock down once or twice before,  today presents you with another opportunity to turn the tide around, Let the champion in you arise to the challenge, its time to come forth to the spotlight and take your place in the Success hall of fame. 

Whenever you feel like giving up remember these two rules (1) takes one more step (2) when you don't feel like taking one more step, refer to rule one.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Just take one more step concerning that matter today 

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. I declare today that

I am going from strength to strength and from glory to glory. My efforts are yeilding exceptional results in Jesus name. Amen

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, I appreciate you for your grace and mercy over my life and family in Jesus name

*Father God,  I reject the spirit of discouragement and I receive the grace to advance forcefully into my future in Jesus name 

*Father God, strengthen my will against every life challenge  confronting me in Jesus name

*Father God, the let power for consistent victorious living rest on me now in Jesus name

*Father God, crown this year for me with  your goodness in Jesus name

*Father God, by the token of the blood of Jesus, I reclaim whatever the enemy has denied me so far this year in Jesus name

*Father God, let the divine events that will make end this year with laughter begin to manifest  in my life now in Jesus name

*Father God, fortify me with greater strength not to give up in the face of challenges  in Jesus name.

*Father God, thank you for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
