TOPIC:  WINNING THE BATTLE OVER YOUR MIND

TEXT: "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing
that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Mentality is what determines and controls destiny . To have fruitful life yoy have got to cultivate a fruitful mind.

And with the way things are going in the world today, it appears the battle feild of life is here in our mind,s where life's   fights are either won or lost.  So we have to make a determined choice to keep
our minds and our thoughts in check. We cannot just let our head think whatever it wants! If you do, you will find yourself running down all sorts of wrong mental paths You will jump to wrong conclusions about people, situations, and events that go on around you. The best  way to keep your mind in check is to tell it what to do. Speak to your mind and tell it to come in line with God and His Word. The word casting in the verse above literally means to demolish in a violent way. Now that doesn’t mean you do this by literally beating your head
against a wall! We exercise spiritual violence against sin and evil with words. You must command your mind to be at peace when thoughts of fear try to come at you. Speak to
your mind today and tell it to be at peace in the Name of Jesus! Then fill your mind with thoughts about the goodness and peace of God
today!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Deliberately monitor what goes on in your mind today and cast down every unwanted thoughts and imaginations

WORD CONFESSION
I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today,
I take control of my thoughts and bring it into subjection to the will and the word of God. The peace of God garrisons over heart this day in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS
*Father God tank you for this day that you have made for us to rejoice and be glad in Jesus name.

*Father God, I set my will free from bad habits , cravings and sins in Jesus name.

*Father  Lord,  today I decree over my mind
in the power of Jesus’ Name. “Mind, you be at peace, in the Name of Jesus. You think
upon thoughts of peace and God’s goodness,
right now!”

*Father God, I reject and eject the thoughts of confusion and frustrations from my mind in Jesus name

*Father God, today I reject the thoughts of discouragement and feelings of inferiority in Jesus name

*Father God, I reject and eject the thoughts of anger, hatred,  and jelousy  from my mind in Jesus name

*Father God fill my mind and life with your joy and love in Jesus name

*Thank you Father for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name.
