TOPIC: BE THE BRIDGE

Text:  "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be

ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you

with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15).

We are the bridge of hope for the lost. We are their connection to Jesus, and they are looking for us to show them the way. We need to be able to answer their questions according to

wisdom and according to God’s Word. When the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon, she came to test him with hard questions, and he was able to answer her questions with wisdom

(see 2 Chron. 9:1-12). In addition, when she saw his surroundings she was overwhelmed by how wonderful they were. This story is a picture of the world coming to us to get their questions

answered and to see the Gospel genuinely

working in our lives.

The world is watching us more than we realize. They want to see if we can answer their tough questions. Give your time to study and ask the Holy Spirit to make you ready for them. The world needs people who can open their mouth and present the Lord in a way they have never seen before. Be ready for them; someone out

there needs you! You

are their bridge, and God wants to prepare you. They are coming, and God is giving you a ready answer today.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Today be the connect between God and your family and friends

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY 

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am a vessel of honour, chosen and sanctified for a holy use. I will fulfil my purpose. Amen

TOPIC: SOMEONE IS PRAYING FOR YOU

TEXT: "…Without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers (Romans 1:9).

What an encouragement Paul’s words must have

been to the Roman church when they learned that he prayed for them without ceasing! They surely came away from that with the confidence that they were always being brought before

God’s throne. There is something particularly

encouraging about knowing that someone is praying for you. When Jesus was about to go to the cross, He knew the devil was going to come after Peter. He told Peter, “Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you…but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not” (Luke 22:31-32). I am sure when Peter faced the shame of knowing he had denied the Lord, he remembered those words. It is probable to say that it was Jesus’ prayers and also Peter knowing he had been prayed for that drew him back to the Lord after his sin. It was a lifeline for Peter. We all walk through things, and just knowing that

others are taking the time to think of us and mention our name before the Lord provides a

spiritual boost. With that in mind, it is important to then pray for others. Just like their prayers are helping to pull you through, so are your

prayers doing the same for them. Let your prayers be a lifeline for someone today and then have peace in knowing that someone is

mentioning you.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY 

Be encouraged in the fact that you are not alone and that someone somewhere is praying for you and you too need to take sometime to pray for someone else's need today

TOPIC:  FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE

TEXT:  "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things

are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever

things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good

report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any

praise, think of these things" (Philippians 4:8).

Human nature easily focuses on the negative things of life because it’s what has a tendency to steal our attention. For example, in a

classroom there could be 29 excellent students,

but it’s that one disobedient child who demands the teacher’s attention. Another example is when someone mistreats you. Everyone you met that day could have treated you like royalty, but your

mind wants to zone in on the mean one. When it comes to paying bills, every bill

could be paid, but it’s that one that you didn’t have enough money for that gets you. And finally as the year is coming to an end, the enemy might want to keep you focused on the things  you are yet to  accomplish this year rather than the mercy of God that has kept you and yours thus far. I believe the reason Philippians 4:8 was written is because we have to make a conscious effort to emphasize the good. If we don’t, our minds will do just the opposite and we start to think everything is going downhill when that is the farthest from the truth! Consider making a short list today of all the good things that happen. It will change your perspective and help you realize that when you focus on the good, the good things are far outweighing the bad. You will even find that the good things are not only abundant, but actually multiplying all around you!

TOPIC: UPHOLD YOUR SELF-WORTH

TEXT : "Love others as much as you love yourself"( Matthew 22:39 CEV)

Only by loving yourself in a healthy way that you can love others the way God intended. When you dont appreciate yourself, you live with insecurity, and you keep looking to others for approval and when you dont get it, your self worth shrivels. As a result, you live far beneath your potentials. You are the only person you cant get away from, so unless you learn to accept yourself, you will be miserable. Stop and think about the last time you were around somebody you dont enjoy being with; how did that feel?

Whether good or had, you project onto others the thoughts and the feelings you have of yourself. So if you want people to think well of you, have a good opinion of yourself: one that's based on God's word and nurtured by the right relationships. No question, the Word of God cautions us about having an over exaggerated opinion about ourselves. But dont go the other extreme, living with a continual self rejection and depression  is a open invitation to satan , who is always sneaking around to find someone to attack.(2Peter 5:8). Dont play into his hand.

Apostle Paul writes  "Nothing good lives in me, that is in my sinful nature(Romans7:18NIV). That means the good qualities you posses are evidence that God is at work in your life. So be sure to acknowledge them. The Bible says, we have this treasure in earthen vessel, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us2Cor.4:7). Instead of focusing on your flaws and feeling bad about yourself recognise the 'treasure' of God's presence, power, excellence and potential that lives within you. You are valuable!

Regardless of what you are passing through deliberately see yourself the way God sees you.

TOPIC :  WISDOM FOR LIVING A BETTER LIFE

TEXT: "How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver"(Proverbs 16:16).

God has planned a better life for us. And wisdom is our access key to that better life.

People all over the world are always looking for the better items, better health services, better service delivery etc. Politicians all over the world win elections by promising a 'better' life for their people. We examine, we ponder and finally make a choice based on what we believe is better. I've have never heard anybody saying 'this one is worse, so I will take it'. Everybody wants a better life  but not everyone gets it because not everyone connects to the  wisdom to make it happen.

The book of proverbs is full of comparisons that points us toward the right pathway in life, showing us what's better for us. So its not strange to find statements saying 'this is better than that'. In the book of proverbs chapter 16, we read its better to get wisdom than gold or silver(vs 16).: better to be humble among the poor than to be proud among the wealthy (v 19): better to control our temper than to rule a city (v32). Some have the ability to be both wise and wealthy, but when faced with choice between the two, Proverbs says wisdom is the better alternative. Living the better life begin when we allow the word of God to shape our thinking and guide our choices. We will always be shown the way to the better life.

The path to the life that God has planned for you is available for you for the taking. It can be a reality when we begin to think better thoughts based on the word of God. Welcome to a better life!

Living the better life starts with making better choices, so ask yourself "what better choices must I make beginning from today"?

TOPIC: TAKE YOUR PLACE OF GREATNESS

TEXT: "Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side" (Psalms 71:21).

God has specially designed a place for each of His children to stand in a place of honor and

greatness. Yes, greatness and honor are earned, however God will also cause it to rest upon your life. God is the author of greatness, and He will see to it that you will receive due honor for your purity, lifestyle, and commitment to His will. Greatness doesn’t mean you have to be famous; it means you receive promotion and honor for obeying God. Your platform of greatness may not be like anyone else’s. Stay with your own calling on your road of destiny, and greatness will find

you. God will also comfort you along that road as

you embrace the hard work that comes with it. Similar to a runner in a race, it takes diligence, practice, hard work, and endurance when no one is noticing you. The greatness of winning the race is only a moment

compared to the private work and lifestyle it took

to get there. However, the greatness that God gives will be the greatest reward you can receive. Begin to press toward the greatness

God has prepared for you and know that

greatness will begin to open for you! Move

toward your season of greatness today!

TOPIC:  LIVING IN GOD'S  POSSIBILITIES

TEXT: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth (Luke 11:2).

This excerpt from Luke 11 is a famous line from what is commonly called the Lord’s Prayer. Truthfully, Jesus didn't pray this prayer just so we could repeat it. It is actually a guideline on how to pray and which things to prioritize in prayer. Among them was a call upon God
for His Kingdom rule and possibilities to have the preeminence and that His will would be manifest in our lives. However, the specific words in the prayer, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done,” are spoken not as formal requests, but rather as a strong decree. This seems to be the one part of the prayer that you almost want to repeat verbatim. It isn’t that you are commanding God, but rather it seems that you should say it in order to command yourself. You are telling yourself that you will live under God’s Kingdom rule and that you won’t allow yourself to get outside of His will, His divine possibilities for your life

Declare today for God’s Kingdom possibilities to manifest over you and that you will walk in His will. Say it many times. There is something about your ears hearing you say it that solidifies its truth in your heart. With God’s Kingdom rule upon you and His will being your priority, you can’t help but experience breakthrough. God's Kingdom possibilities  are upon you now!

Be sensitive and be on the look out today for heavenly intervention in a certain area of your life.

SUPERNATURAL WEALTH TRANSFER BY COVENANT

TOPIC: WEALTH TRANSFER BY COVENANT

TEXT:  "…And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just (Proverbs 13:22).

One of the blessings of the Abrahamic covenant was wealth and financial provision, and we are part of that covenant in Christ. Of course, when you mention the word wealth, some automatically assume mansions and fancy cars. No, biblical wealth covers more than finances, because money doesn’t solve everything.
However, without money the church is limited. As long as the devil can keep the Body of Christ poor and in debt, it limits the effectiveness of
ministries worldwide. We need wealth, but wealth from God means something different for everyone. It doesn’t mean God is giving everyone a mansion. True financial wealth from God is defined as supernatural provision that enhances and adds to your natural work ethic and occupational efforts. In other words, God takes your particular work efforts and adds to them through supernatural means. God did that
with both Abraham and Joseph. Abraham made money in Egypt (a type of secular society). Genesis 13:1-2 says he came up from Egypt and was very rich. Joseph found wisdom from God to store a supply of food before a famine (see Gen. 41). God is saying that there is a supply of hidden wealth in the earth waiting to be transfered and God The Father wants to position you to receive   your portion.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Supernatural wealth transfer happens on the basis of our obedience to God in area of supporting His Kingdom here on earth.  Therefore make yourself a channel for God and not a reservoir

I am evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I am rich and weathy. I spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasure. I am a money magnet. I am out of debts. Money cometh to me now in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for a new day and the gift of a new life in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for your plan to prosper me in Jesus name

TOPIC: HELP IS ON THE WAY

TEXT: …And they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war (1 Chronicles 12:1).

Divine assistance can bring about divine advancements in many areas of your life. God has never been a lone ranger. He said “let us make..(Gen. 1:26) meaning that He doesn’t work alone. Eve was created as a help meet for Adam. We all need divine assistance to help us actualize our dreams and God given destiny.

Not everyone is able to hire help for all the many tasks they have to accomplish every day. People from all walks of life can feel overwhelmed by their task list at times. Whether it’s the businessperson who needs new employees, the pastor who needs committed helpers in his church, or perhaps the single parent who is juggling the needs of a family, the reality is that we all need help. When God sent David men at Ziklag, He sent people whose jobs were specifically to be helpers of the war. In other words, they were the people who did odd jobs that helped the warriors be more effective at battle. Their tasks probably weren’t what many would think deserved major recognition. Yet they alleviated the burden enough to help David’s men wage war more effectively. By sending David these helpers, God was also reminding David that He wasn’t going to leave him without ample people to get the job done.

Undoubtedly, if God could send these types of people to David, He will send them to us at various times. We use faith for many things, but we need to pray and ask the Lord to send us helpers. Whether long-term or for one short task, ask the Lord to send you uncommon helpers who will bring uncommon results in your career and reduce your work load today. Be encouraged because help is on the way!

TOPIC: THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY

TEXT:  "And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the Lord blessed Obededom, and all his household" (2 Samuel 6:11).

When David took the Ark of God to the house of Obededom, he was literally bringing the presence of God.

The Ark of God contained God’s presence, so once it came into the house of Obededom, God manifested His glory by causing his house to come into blessing.  Whenever the presence of God enters an environment, you can expect glory to be there for those who want to receive it. As a child of God, who has His presence within you and in your house, you can rest assured that your household will be supplied for. Sure, there are challenges we have to overcome in this world’s economy. It may look like you are going to lose things, such as a job or home. Perhaps your house rent has increased from where it was a year ago. However, keep relying on God’s presence, because even when it looks like blessing is nowhere to be found, His presence will ensure that God glory will come back upon you. God’s presence will make up for what you lost, and He will bring back far more than what you originally had. So don’t fear your future or worry about how to pay for things. Don’t wonder where your bankroll will be one day. The presence of God is with you, and your household will always be supplied for!

TOPIC: MAKING THE BEST OF EVERY DAY LIFE

TEXT: "In the morning I lay my request before you and wait in expectation"(Psalm 5:3NIV)

Maximizing your day requires that we understand that
the way we start our day or any new season determines  whether we will get the best of God in today or not. Sometimes we think everything rest on our shoulders, but it doesn't! It's God's world not ours. At the beginning of the day God reminds us that He has His way, that He controls the outcomes, and that He cares about every detail of our lives

The way we start out  every day sets the tone for the entire day. So try this first thing when you wake up in the morning. Get alone with God even if it’s for few minute. Don't make it last for hours; you can start with few minutes. Go over and review your goals and  plans for the day with LORD.  If you have events planned in your calendar look it over with JESUS. As you are going through it, you may have some concerns, just hand them over to Him. May be you will notice a meeting or a particular problem you are worried about. Ask Him for wisdom. If He doesn't give you an immediate answer, just know He wants you to trust Him. He has something better in mind, something that you haven't thought of yet. Do many of us start our day anxious, hurried, fearful or rushed. But we don’t have to. We are going to start our this new season anyway; why not start it with Jesus? Do we have any better offer? We are going to have the first word, first thought anyhow, so why don't we let it belong to Jesus, before whom our anxieties flee? We can do this, we really should start this ew month with God and end it with Him, thank Him for all the good things He has loaded into this day for us.

Take a moment to meditate on this scripture "Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days(Psalm 90;14 NIV). Making the best of every day is starting that day with God. Welcome to a new brand new day full of brand new opportunities!

Everyone is consistently on the look out for one access or another. You may have heard stories of people who crave access to political leaders, such as Presidents, Prime Ministers, and other powerful dignitaries. But Jesus Christ gave us something far greater than that: access to God the Father, ruler of the universe!

When Jesus uttered the words, “It is finished” (John 19:30), and breathed His last breath on the cross, the veil in the Temple was torn from the top to the bottom (Mark 15:38). Through the blood of Christ, it became possible to enter into the Holy of Holies—the very presence of God—and offer prayers and petitions directly to Him.

What a magnificent gift! No longer was it necessary to be a high priest and then wait for a specific day or festival to enter God’s presence. Because of Jesus, every Believer has been given the gift of unlimited access to the throne room of Almighty God! And if doors have been opened to you in heaven no door can stay shut to you on earth.

TEXT: IT'S NOT YET OVER!

TEXT: "The Lord has kept me alive, as He has said, these forty five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses" ( Josh

In Joshua 14 we read that Caleb asked for the portion of the inheritance that was promised him by Moses. At that time Caleb was already eighty five years old.

When his age mates were thinking of retirement or may be preparing for death, he was making moves that will significantly change his life and the life of others around him. He did not allow his advancing age to prevent him from believing that God would honour His promise given forty five years earlier (v:10-12). As one of the scouts sent out by Moses to spy the land, he saw large cities inhabited by powerful people of great stature ( num.13:28-33). But Caleb was faithful to God and believe that God would help Isreal conquer the land. At the age of eighty five years Caleb was still strong physically and his faith was unwavering. He trusted that God would help him conquer the land even though it still had Giants. Like Caleb, we must not allow, age, our personal giants, obstacles or unfulfilled promises- even as the year is been wound up- to prevent us from believing that God still and will honor His word to us. So Joshua blessed Caleb with his portion of the land, fulfilling God forty five years old promise. Today, God is blessing you with the portion of what He promised you. Go and take possession!

Despise whatever excuse you might have built up in your mind for not attempting something new. Look out and reach out for more of what God has in store for you

TOPIC: THE BENEFITS OF HUMILITY

TEXT: "Cloth yourself with humility" (1Peter 5:5
KJV)

Apostle Peter writes, cloth yourself with humility...for God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on Him, because He cares for you (1Peter 5:5-7). Peter expressed four very important thoughts, let's look at them each of them:

1) When Peter said cloth yourself with humility he actually was referring to a white scarf or apron typically worn by servants. Did you get that? We are called to be servants. Though we carry the anointing of a king God wants us to wear the crown with great humility.

2)'God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble'. Those who are self centered find themselves at odd with God while the humble enjoy His blessing

3) 'Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time. The phrase ''the mighty hand of God is used in scriptures to symbolize two things: God hands of discipline and His hand of deliverance. And you need both. So submit to His discipline today and you will enjoy His deliverance.

4) Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.' Peter addresses the core issue worry that if we don't look out for ourselves nobody else will. But if we really believe that God cares for us, we needn't worry about serving our own interests. We can focus on the needs of others, confident that God will spare nothing when it comes to meeting our needs.

TOPIC: DIVINE CREATIVITY

TEXT: "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of
the Almighty giveth them understanding" (Job
32:8).

There are certain people in the world we label as either creative or artistic. Then there are others who are always quick to say they are neither of those things. What we need to know is that no matter who we are, all creativity comes from the God. He can put in each of us our own version of creativity. Of course, we all have unique and
natural talents that we can study to develop, but it’s the Lord who adds to and inspires them. Job 32:8 says it is God who inspires and teaches us how to do things. We need to expect inspiration from the Lord in everything we do. The dimension of divine creativity can cause ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. It can cause you to come up with ideas on the job that no one considered. It may help you prosper in your own business or add interest to relationships, family
activities, or hobbies.
So, if you don’t think of yourself as very creative, change your perception of yourself today. Begin to ask the Lord to bring out the creative side that He has given you. Of course, that doesn’t mean you need to go sign up for a painting
class! Nevertheless, look for God to inspire you in everyday business and see how His Spirit can use you to be a witness to other people. Get ready, because the Holy Spirit is giving you creativity and inspiration today.

TOPIC: GETTING THE HELP YOU NEED

TEXT:  "Their cry for help went up to God" (Exo. 2:23)

Just like when the Israelites thought that life couldn't get worse it did! Pharaoh withheld their straw and  ordered them to produce the same daily quota of bricks. At that point three things happened:

1) The Israelites groaned in their slavery. Its what we do when we feel so bad that we cant express it. We groan, first within ourselves and then to whoever will listen, finding relief in venting our frustration. But lasting help requires more than just  talking to yourself and others, So they raised their voice level and :

2)'Cried out..for help' God has seen them grind their teeth and white knuckle it through another day. But since they were talking to everybody but Him, nothing changed. However, as soon as their cry went up to God...He heard their groaning. He just wanted a prayer to answer. David declared ' He heard my voice and has incline his ear to me ...I shall call upon Him  as long as I live. (Psalm 116:1-2). Instead of complaining, pray! Give God a prayer to answer and He will answer it. Why would He listen to someone like me you said, because:

3) 'God remembers His     covenant with Abraham..a took notice of them.(Exo. 2:24). God answered their prayer because of the covenant He made with their father. He took notice of them because they were Abraham's children. They got it 'on credit', so do you! God for Christ sake has forgiven you. (Eph. 4:32). God's mercy and favor is ours today because you belong to Christ. ' My father will give you whatever you ask in my name...ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete (John 16-23-24). How very encouraging is that!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Make a list of three urgent things that you want The LORD  to do in your life before the month or year is over and present it before Him 2 times daily (morning and evening) using relevant promises in His word.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today i declare He that sent me me is with me, I am full and abundantly blessed according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen!

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God thank you for a brand new day and for a new opportunity you have given me and my family to see this new day in Jesus name.

*Father God, I hand over all my life cares and worries to you, thank you for turning my situation around for your good and glory in Jesus name.

*Father God,  remember your covenant and turn my story around for your good and glory in Jesus name

*Father God, let the circle of unmet need around my life break by fire in Jesus name

*Father God , let the yoke of financial hardship on my life be destroyed by fire in Jesus name

*Father God, send urgent help to me concerning. ..................

TOPIC: JESUS OUR ADVOCATE

TEXT:  "We have a great high priest...Jesus the son of God( Hebrew 4:14-16).

In the book of Hebrews we were introduced to a truth that will transform our prayer life. It focused on the person and the work of Jesus Christ, our great high priest who helps us in our prayers. "We have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God. Notice: Jesus our go between'. Dr. Tony Evans writes: ' The most important fact about our great high priest is His identity: Jesus, the son of God, indicating both His humanity as Jesus and His deity as God's son. He's unique in both time band eternity because He is the God- man. As man He can feel the way we feel. And as God He can fix what makes us feel that way'.

When Job the Patriarch was been accused by his friends and trying to defend himself, he said, 'For(God) is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, that we may go to court together. There is no umpire between us. Who may lay his hand upon us both(Job 9:32-33). Job was looking for somebody who could take God's hand and identify with Him, then bring two of them together. Job felt God was beyond his reach. But we dont have to feel that way! Why? Because Jesus bridge the gap between God and man. He can understand what we are going through when we cry out to Him, and He has the power to act on our behalf. Knowing that gives us the confidence we need to come to him at any time, with anything that concerns us.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
You can trust Jesus absolutely with the issues of your life and He will not disappoint you.

WORD CONFESSION FOR TODAY

I am evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that the overcoming grace of God is at work in my life. I go from strength to strength and from glory to glory. The extravagant grace of God lavished on my life and concerns this month in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

*Father God, thank you for today and thank you for bringing me and my family to this new month of October in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for your faithfulness and mercy and all that you did for me and my family last month in Jesus name

*Father God, thank you for me giving me your son Jesus Christ as a mediator.

*Father God, bring me into the reality of all that Jesus died and rose again to make happen for me in Jesus name

*Father God,  in this new month let your abiding  presence terminate every limiting factors in and around my life in Jesus name

*Father God, in this new month let the grace for accelerated fulfillments rest on me in Jesus name

*Father God,  in this new month, make me and my family an epitome of your excellent glory in Jesus name

*Father God, in this new month rebrand my life with your favor in Jesus name

*Father God,  in this new month let the blood of Jesus and your glory be the defence shield for me and my family
