LESSONS OF SUCCESS FROM THE ANTS
TEX: “Go to the
ants…consider her ways, and be wise” (Proverbs 6:6)
God is interested in
our success. He uses as many things as possible to teach us on how to succeed.
He said ‘Go to the ants, consider her ways and be wise. Meaning there is wisdom
to learn from the ways ant conduct their business. These giants of industry
teach us valuable principles for living. Here are three things we can learn
about them:
1) Ants have no need of
supervision to do what is right. The Bible says they the ‘‘…ants have no
commander, no overseer, no ruler’’ (Pro. 6:7). In other words they don’t need
to be propped or coaxed to get of bed and get moving. Nobody supervises their
work to ensure quality standard for them. They don’t need anyone to help manage
their time and see that they arrive early. Ants are self-motivated and driven
by its own high standards, not by rules, regulation and the fear of being
subjected to certain shameful situation.
2) They plan and
prepare ahead for the future: The Bible says “they store their food in summer
and gather food ate harvest’’ (Pro.6:8). While everybody else is complaining
about the heat (The weather, economy, politics etc.) the hard working ants just
keep on preparing for the future. If you don’t prepare for the future when you
get to the future you will have nothing to sustain you there. This is the
reason why many old people are suffering today. if you play today you will pay
tomorrow, but if you pay today you will play tomorrow. Learn from the ants and
be wise.
3) Ants are highly
organized and focused: if you have ever come across a colony of ants one of the
things you will noticed is that they are highly organized. They hardly wonder
about looking for something. They know the power of cooperation. That’s why you
see them come together to carry something that might be too much for one of
them to carry. They are goal driven, focused, determined, and unstoppable! You
can’t keep an ant on a mission down, you come across their formation and they
cause you serious pain. Decide today that nothing will stop you from achieving
your life goals and dream.
ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Think big like an
elephant but have the tenacity and dogged focus of an ant.
WORD CONFESSION
I am
evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and is at work. Today I declare that excellent
spirit is upon my life. God’s wisdom is ate work in my life. I produce
excellent results in Jesus. Amen !

*Father God, let your
favour open doors of restoration to me this week in Jesus name

for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
