TOPIC: RIVER OF LIVING WATER

TEXT: “OUT OF THE HEART WILL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER” (JOHN 7:38)

Water is a symbol of life. Recently it was reported by NASA that water has been discovered on Mars and that it’s an indication of the presence of life there.

Water quenches our thirst and sustains our life. In scripture, water serves the picture of the sufficiency of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ day, during the feast of Tabernacles a choir sings while a priest filled a gold pitcher with water and poured it out. This reminds all those present of the water that gushed out during the wilderness wanderings (Numbers 20:8-11).

Jesus stood and said in a loud voice: “He who believes me as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water (John 7:37,38). This source is the Holy Spirit who is like a well of satisfaction. Earlier the Lord had made a dramatic claim that the believer would have a continual source of refreshment (V4:14)

Are you thirsty today, confess your sins and Christ will fill you with His Spirit. As you yield to His will He will graciously fill you with the living water springing up to eternal life.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Get spiritual thirsty and God will fill you.

WORD CONFESSION
I declare today I walk in the power of the Holy Spirit so I am an overcomer. Supernatural victory is my portion in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS
*Father thank you for bringing me and my family into this glorious week in Jesus name
**Father, God fill my life to overflowing with the river of your Spirit in  in Jesus name

*Father God, let the life giving force of God enter me now in Jesus name.

*Father God I command river of living water to break forth in my wilderness now  now in Jesus name

*Father God, let rivers of Living water, flush our every evil deposit in my life now in Jesus name.

*Father God let the Tsunami of your Spirit uproot every evil plantations in the foundation of my life in Jesus name

*Father God let the rivers of living water flow into my destiny in Jesus name

*Father God Rivers of living water flow into every dead area of my life and bring it alive in Jesus in Jesus name.
