TOPIC:   MOVING FORWARD IN LIFE (Part 1)

TEXT: “…Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward”(Exodus 14:15kjv)

After four hundred and thirty years of captivity in Egypt, The nation of Israel was delivered by the power of God. On their journey they came to the red sea and felt trapped between the sea and the Egyptian army who were hot on their heels. In the dilemma of feeling stuck God told Moses to tell the people to ‘go forward’. Regardless of what you might be passing through, God wants you to go forward but going forward require that we break free of those things that hindering us from moving in the direction that God is leading. In this part I would like to share five of ten things you must break free from if you must move forward in life:

1)Break free from your fears: people are unable to move forward because they are afraid; fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of taking risk are some of the fears that are paralyzing certain destinies from moving forward.

2) Break free from your daily routine: When you keep doing the same thing the same way don’t expect a different result. You can’t move your car forward if your gear stick remains on neutral. Be ready to do something new and different. Be innovative!

3) Break free from whatever makes you stop: There are various destiny stoppers: relationships can be a destiny stopper, certain bad habits or certain pleasures. Whatever you don’t stop will eventually stop you.

4) Break free from the perception of impossibilities: feeling stuck has a way of paralyzing someone’s potentials and diminish ones ability to see new opportunities. And the inability to see opportunities is to remain grounded for life. Regardless of where you are, there is a way forward for you.

5) Break free from self-deception: moving forward requires that you are honest to yourself. Agree with facts of the situation so that God can give you the faith to overcome it. The greatest of all lies is the lie we tell ourselves. Whenever you are not acting out the truth you in the word of God you are in self-deceit (Jam1:22).

In closing, God is aware of where you are. And if it takes God for you to get to where you are, it will take Him for you to get to where He wants you to go. We have two months more into the end of this year and two months is too much for God to change your story for good. You will get there!

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Take the points above and break yourself free so you can move forward.

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is at alive and at work. This day I declare that I am moving forcefully upward and forward by the power of the Holy Spirit. I move to my next bigger level in Jesus name.

*Father God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I break free every habit, relationship and satanic influence that has grounded my life and destiny in Jesus name

*Father God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I break free from every negative mentality of impossibility in Jesus name

*Father God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I break free from every satanic lies and deception of the enemy about my situation in Jesus name

*Father God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, by the power of the Holy Spirit break every yoke of stagnation and limitation in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, fast track my covenant day of celebration in Jesus name

*Father God, by the power of your Spirit move my life forcefully forward in Jesus name

*Thank you LORD for hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
