TOPIC: REACH FOR MORE OF GOD

TEXT: He who walks with the wise shall be wise… (Pro 13:20)

There are people whose lives challenge you to reach for more of God; they normally would stoke the fire within you to be all you can be. When God brings such people around you, feed off them! When you have little or no water in your own well, be willing to draw it from theirs. 

Elisha spent many years living in Elisha’s shadows, but he saw it as a privilege, not a put down. He was willing to set up tents, cook meals, wash cloths and run errands because it meant he would experience firsthand some of the greatest miracles in history.  As a result, Elisha said to Elijah ‘I want double portion of the spirit at work in you’ (2Kings 2:9). And before his life was over Elisha worked twice as much miracles as Elijah. Understand this: you must have a foundation and you can’t build it without help.

Seeing God bless someone should challenge you to reach for more of God. This is not envy but strong desire for deeper connection with the Doer of all good things. It’s knowing that if God can do it for that person, He will also do the same for you. Look at Hannah, Elkanah’s wife, she wanted a child. To stir her up God used Penninah who was married to the same man but was able to bear children. The more Hannah saw Peninah have children, the more she wanted to have her own children. The more she wanted to have her own children, the more she sought God. Never allow the success of others push you into hate, rage or jealousy. But learn to rejoice over the blessing of others. Let it push you to reach for more of God in prayers, in the study of the word and in service in His Kingdom. God is not a respecter of persons what he has done for one He will do for you (Act 10:34).

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Decide to walk deeper and closer with God this week. As this will guarantee the release of your expected miracles.

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and at work. Today I declare that I receive grace reach for more of God. Therefore, I connect to my higher grounds, I connect to solutions, and I connect to my destiny possessions in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE HIGHEST FORM OF THE BLESSING

TEXT: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

 The highest form of the blessing anyone can carry is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. (see Gal. 3:14). To be anointed means to be smeared or rubbed with oil. The oil is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. When the Bible says that Jesus was anointed, it means He carried upon Him the person of the Holy Spirit. He had the Spirit without measure (John 3:34 ). By the power of the Spirit, He manifested the blessing and brought solutions to the people around Him and wherever He went.

Exodus 33:11 says Moses met God face to face. It wasn’t that he literally saw God’s face, because God tells him that no one can see it and live (see Exod. 33:20). It means Moses was communing directly in God’s presence. You would think this was the highest possible encounter one could have with God. However, it must not have been, because later Moses begs God to reveal His glory to him (see Exod. 33:18). Why did he act as though something was still missing? Unlike us, Moses had not experienced the glory within him. When he left the tabernacle where God was, he didn’t have the same presence there with him. In addition to the glory without, we who are in Christ experience the glory within everywhere we go!  And by the glory of this anointing we should bring solutions to our generation. Moses would have dreamed to know what that was like. It’s what Jesus communicated to the woman at the well in John 4:21-23. It wasn’t about going to a particular location to meet God, but rather having God in you and upon you everywhere you go. Jesus had that glory and anointing everywhere He went, and it caused the oppressed to go free.

                                                                                     

Because Jesus lives in you, you are anointed without and within. That same glory and power goes everywhere you do! As you go into the day, spread the glory of that anointing and manifest God’s blessing.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

Walk in the consciousness of that divine presence on your life today

I declare that the Spirit of the living God is actively at work within and upon my life. This day I spread the fragrance of that anointing wherever I go. God’s blessing is manifesting through me. TOPIC: 3 THINGS TO DO IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS

TEXT: “say unto this mountain, be thou removed…”(Mark 11:23)

Life can be very challenging. Winning requires that we know what to do when faced with such challenges. Jesus in the book of Mark showed us the way to handle life’s difficult situations:

1) Use the word of God: Our text told us us to ‘say’ something to our situation. Meaning life’s situations responds to the word of God is our mouth. In the wilderness satan tempted Jesus in three ways a) the devil tempted Him to put His temporal needs ahead of His spiritual needs, “Turn these stones into bread”. (b) The enemy wanted Him to use His power for wrong, “Throw yourself down from the pinnacle of the temple (c) Take the easy way out, not the cross: the world is yours just submit to me. Each time Jesus overcame the enemy by the word of God, “It is written”(Matt.4:1-11). Your most powerful weapon is the word of God.
2) Be patient: The Bible says in Jeremiah that the word of God is like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces (Jer.23:29). Have you ever wondered how a rock will hit a rock ninety nine times and in the one hundredth time it shatters? That’s because all the other previous blows keeps on weakening it. Keep speaking God’s word over your situation persistently. In persistence lies the power.
3) Practice forgiveness: The story was told of a pastor who asked his congregation ‘how many of you want to forgive your enemies?” everybody signified by a show of hand except one old man. ‘Why not?’ The Pastor asked. ‘I have none because I have outlived them all!’. After speaking about faith that moves mountain Jesus said “When you stand praying if you have anything against anyone forgive him, that your heavenly Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses(Mark 11:25). Your mountains can’t be moved neither can your prayers get answered when you harbour un-forgiveness in your heart. So ask yourself, ‘is it worth it?’ does this offender deserve to be given such a prominent place in your heart and life? For your sake forgive and let it go. 

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Attack every difficult situation in your life by the instructions above. Remember persistency is the key.

SATANIC FASHION SHOW TOOK PLACE INSIDE A CHURCH IN LONDON

Today, the word “Illuminati” is so widespread and associated with ‘conspiracy’ that it has become satirical in its own right. Yet even as a subject of ridicule, the prevalence of occult symbols in the mass-media is undeniable.

(CE) Take this showcase at London Fashion Week, for example.

Hosted at St. Andrew church in London, the avant-garde fashion show was the creation of Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu.

As you can see, Findikoglu’s display of costumes and apparel was nothing less than an ode to all things occult.

It’s about as ‘in-your-face’ as it gets, with satanic sigils, Masonic pillars, checkered tiles, eyes of Horus, pentagrams — you name it. Naturally, responses ran wild among conspiracy communities.

The well-known occult decoders over at the Vigilant Citizen had a lot to say about it as well:

THE BACKDROP IS BASICALLY A MISH-MASH OF MASONIC-INSPIRED IMAGERY. ON EACH SIDE ARE THE MASONIC TWIN PILLARS. BETWEEN THE PILLARS IS THE LETTER G INSIDE AN INVERTED PENTAGRAM. UNDERNEATH IT IS THE ALL-SEEING EYE INSIDE A HEXAGRAM. THERE IS ALSO THE MASONIC SQUARE AND COMPASS IN THERE. TO TOP IT OFF, THE RUNWAY WAS A CHECKERBOARD PATTERN. HERE’S A CLASSIC MASONIC PAINTING FOR COMPARISON.

They go on to explain how the fashion show was a re-creation of what is known in occultism as a Black Mass: “Historically, a Black Mass is a ritual characterised by the inversion of the Traditional Latin Mass celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church and the desecration of Christian objects for Satanic purposes. The fact that models walk around a Church wearing devil horns recalls the concept of Black Mass.”

Findikoglu Responds to Backlash

In response to public backlash about her glaring occult references, Findikoglu told Dazed Digital that her show had “no religious, Illuminati, [or] secret society meanings.” She explained:

A LOT OF BRANDS USE SIMILAR SYMBOLS AS I DO, BUT I THINK MY WHOLE THEATRICAL HAIR AND MAKE UP MADE PEOPLE THINK THAT IT WAS A SATANIC RITUAL. ACTUALLY ALL THE CHURCH PEOPLE REALLY LIKED THE SHOW AND THOUGHT IT WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL.

THEY PERSONALLY CAME AND THANKED ME AT THE END OF THE SHOW. THE SHOW I DID HAS NO RELIGIOUS, ILLUMINATI, SECRET SOCIETY MEANINGS… ALL THE SYMBOLS I USED WERE FOR POSITIVE PURPOSES. I AM A CREATIVE AND I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE. I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE CAN BE SENSITIVE, BUT I THINK ALL THESE HATE EMAIL AND ATTACKS I AM GETTING FROM CHRISTIANS SHOW WHO REALLY IS WRONG – IF THERE IS SUCH A THING AS RIGHT OR WRONG.

PEOPLE ARE SO READY TO HATE EACH OTHER AND FIND A VICTIM TO THROW HEAVY NEGATIVITY. BUT ISN’T RELIGION SUPPOSED TO SAY WE SHOULD SPREAD LOVE? I THINK THIS WHOLE IDEA OF RELIGION IS SO CORRUPTED AND THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF IT.

When the Diocese of London was asked about the controversial show being hosted within the church, a spokesperson told Dazed they “were not aware of the content or design before the show took place” and that it “does not reflect the Christian faith of the Church. We will be looking at our booking process going forward to ensure this does not happen again.”

What Do We Take From This?

It is clear there are two polarizing ways of looking at Findikoglu’s exhibit, and all occult symbols, for that matter.

So let us consider the two sides.

Let us consider that all of these occult allusions in pop culture are merely coincidence. Let us consider that, by chance, the people in charge of these artistic projects have chosen the eye, the pyramid, the checkered tiles, the pillars, compass, skull and bones, and every other occult symbol out of simple fascination. Let us consider there is nothing more to these symbols than our own over-analytical projections of fear and separation.

On the other side, let us consider that there is truth to these occult symbols. Let us consider that a group of people in power are influencing and communicating a message through the many forums of pop-culture today, and that we are the unwilling subjects of a dark agenda.

Where does that leave us?

It brings us to the point that is most important in this discussion.

While we know awareness is a necessary component of change, and we see the power of this taking place right now with the unravelling of elite pedophile rings and sexual abuse in Hollywood, there is another element that is often overlooked in the realm of these topics. Regardless of what side of the story we buy into, both sides act as the same thing — a distraction from what really matters.

And what really matters is that the collective takes back their power from giving it away to the external — the Trumps, the secret societies, the corporate news stations — and start recognizing that real change starts within.

It is when we stop looking outward and focus our attention inward that we begin to see the truth. And the truth is that we only have the power to change ourselves first and foremost. Only we have the power to step out of the mind and into the heart.

It is a simple and powerful choice, one that we must make every day moving forward. From there, and only there, will we truly create the ripple of change that our world needs

TOPIC: BOLDNESS TO POSSESS YOUR POSSESSIONS

TEXT: “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1).

The anointing of God is attracted to boldness. And without Boldness you cannot take hold of those things God has promised you. Boldness is not obnoxious, rude behavior. It is confidence that knows what God will do in adverse situations. According to Proverbs 28:1, the wicked don’t have that confidence. When trouble comes into their lives, they are unsure of the outcome. They don’t know if they will live or die or if they will keep or lose everything. Their lives hang in the balance. We shouldn’t live in that kind of uncertainty because we trust in what God has said He will do in dire situations. When the early apostles were under severe attack in Acts 4, they got together and prayed. Instead of being intimidated, they prayed for even more boldness! Acts 4:29 says, “Lord, behold their threatening: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.” In the verses to follow, the power on their lives got even stronger and even more miracles took place.
If you will take a bold stand for what you believe,  the Lord will send you the help you need.  So prepare yourself for it and ask the Lord for more boldness, just like the apostles did. Then expect holy boldness to rise up and possess your possessions.

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY
Boldness requires that you take steps in the direction of what of are afraid of. If you are afraid of height try travelling by air etc.

TOPIC: 3 STEPS TO GETTING EVERYTHING YOU WANT

TEXT: “…Until Christ be formed in you” (Gal.4:19)

The presence of Jesus in us is the catalyst for sign, wonders and miracles. The word formed was taken from the Greek word mophoo which means to fashion, and Apostle Paul said ‘I labour’ that Christ may be formed in you. This gave the sense of travail of a woman with child. And the stages of bringing forth a child teaches us a lot of lessons on how to get what we want and make our dreams happen:

1) Conception: This results from intimacy between two people. Your intimacy with God will always birth a vision and a dream in you. This vision is often the picture of your glorious future. And like a pregnant woman you’ve got to nurture what you are carrying by giving attention to it. Let your dream become an obsession then it can become a possession.
2) Forming: God knows the experiences you need to produce in you the character that will be the backbone for your destiny fulfillment. The person you are is often not adequate for the person that God wants you to be. So God will be begin to fashion you and forge a new you. When you see a pregnant woman, she never looks the same way she was before getting pregnant.
3) Pushing: At the last stage you commit to bringing forth what God has put in you. You will have to push against everything every ever did to you or said about you. Though God will help you midwife your dream but it’s up to you to push it out. In fact it may not happen if you don’t. You will have to push against satanic attacks and resistance in all their debilitating forms; bad memories of failures, low self-esteem and feeling of worthlessness. The devil may have spent years pushing you aside, and pulling you back, putting you down but today God is saying to you ‘I want to open you up, I want to empower you to give birth to dreams I have put within you.

When a baby is born everything in the family changes. The same is true for you. When you give birth to what God has placed within your life everything in your life will be affected. The blessing of God is an overflowing blessing that will touch area of your life. Therefore get ready your life is about to take another turn for good.

TOPIC:      BECOMING EXCEPTIONAL

TEXT: “Straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize” (Phil.3:13-14)

To be exceptional means to be above average, it means commanding superior results. It also means achieving something of note. And to be exceptional will require that we understand and follow the rubber band principle! All rubber bands work the same way; they must be stretch to be effective! 

Anybody who has achieved anything of note has a story of being stretched to their limits. So, there are no exemptions. One of the most common mistakes is to think that success in life is due to some genius or ‘special something’, talents or gifts you don’t possess. Get rid of that thinking! Success and becoming exceptional in any field of endeavor comes when you stretch to meet the challenge; failure comes when you shrink from it. And stretching sometimes makes you vulnerable. When a rubber band is taut it breaks. This is the reason some of us are afraid to stretch, to go where we haven’t gone or tried what we haven’t tried, or the reason we run from criticism. You will always have critics. Jesus had them and said “No servant is greater than his master, if they persecute me they will persecute you (John 15:20).

The person that invented the polio vaccine was continually attacked by his peers’ for his pioneering works in the field. He found that criticism comes in three stages. First they will tell you ‘it won’t work’! Then when you begin to succeed they will say ‘what you are doing isn’t really important’. Finally after they see that it’s important they will say ‘we all along that you would do it’. So don’t look at the way things are and ask why? But look at the way things could be and ask why not? Through the power of God’s indwelling Spirit you can make a difference and be exceptional in your field. Just make yourself available to God, and let Him show you what He can do through your life

Stress and fatigue can be a big part of our lives. Physical and spiritual burn outs are common place among many believers today. It’s important we know how to deal with it. If multitudes of people didn’t deal with fatigue and reoccurring tiredness, the beverage market wouldn’t be filled with caffeine and sugar-laced drinks to give us that age-old, much-appreciated “kick.” Most people probably have experienced the afternoon slump, so we call it, while others deal with a more serious version of fatigue.

TOPIC: BREAKING THE NEGATIVE CIRCLE

TEXT:     “…You must be born again…”(John 3:7)

The Bible says 130 years after Adam sinned he was still fathering children in his own likeness (Gen.5:3). And as Adam’s descendants we have all been born with the nature of the fallen man. And this nature hold us in certain negative circles that if not broken will continue to hinder all the good and great things that God intends for our lives and destiny.

 This is why some people say ‘my dad was an angry man, now I have gotten his temper’ my dad couldn’t stay with my mum, now am going through a divorce’ etc. Negative history repeats and wants to perpetuate itself through the fallen nature

Here is an interesting example: Abraham said of his wife Sareh, ‘She is not my wife’ so Abimelech king of Gera sent for her and took her(Gen20:2). Abraham was willing to sacrifice Sarah to save his own neck. What would you have done? Remember Isaac was not even born at the time. Years later he did exactly the same thing in the same place (See Gen.26:7). It’s genetic. It’s in our DNA.

But there is good news! When we receive Christ as our LORD and Saviour, He breaks that circle when you are ‘born of the Spirit’ you get a new Father and a new nature (See John3:3-6). You don’t have to walk in the likeness of your earthly father any more. You can now walk in the likeness of your heavenly Father and become like Him every day. You can now live the NEW and the LIMITLESS life made available to you by the sacrifice of JESUS on the Cross of Calvary. The supernatural life is now yours to live naturally. Victory over sin and all satanic vices is now a reality.

The only requirement is that you believe that JESUS is the son of God and that He died to break that negative circle in your life. And then insist in prayer and by faith that the new nature must reflect in your everyday life.   

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

The greatest spiritual liberation begins with AWARENESS. Deliberately and consciously live in the awareness every day that ‘ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW’. Every day begins with a new you and new things!

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is at alive and at work. I declare this day that I am a new creature, old things have passed away and all things have become new in my life. I declare that I am led in a triumphal procession throughout today and this coming week in Jesus name
