TOPIC: BREAKING THE NEGATIVE CIRCLE

TEXT:     “…You must be born again…”(John 3:7)

The Bible says 130 years after Adam sinned he was still fathering children in his own likeness (Gen.5:3). And as Adam’s descendants we have all been born with the nature of the fallen man. And this nature hold us in certain negative circles that if not broken will continue to hinder all the good and great things that God intends for our lives and destiny.

 This is why some people say ‘my dad was an angry man, now I have gotten his temper’ my dad couldn’t stay with my mum, now am going through a divorce’ etc. Negative history repeats and wants to perpetuate itself through the fallen nature

Here is an interesting example: Abraham said of his wife Sareh, ‘She is not my wife’ so Abimelech king of Gera sent for her and took her(Gen20:2). Abraham was willing to sacrifice Sarah to save his own neck. What would you have done? Remember Isaac was not even born at the time. Years later he did exactly the same thing in the same place (See Gen.26:7). It’s genetic. It’s in our DNA.

But there is good news! When we receive Christ as our LORD and Saviour, He breaks that circle when you are ‘born of the Spirit’ you get a new Father and a new nature (See John3:3-6). You don’t have to walk in the likeness of your earthly father any more. You can now walk in the likeness of your heavenly Father and become like Him every day. You can now live the NEW and the LIMITLESS life made available to you by the sacrifice of JESUS on the Cross of Calvary. The supernatural life is now yours to live naturally. Victory over sin and all satanic vices is now a reality.

The only requirement is that you believe that JESUS is the son of God and that He died to break that negative circle in your life. And then insist in prayer and by faith that the new nature must reflect in your everyday life.   

ACTION PLAN FOR TODAY

The greatest spiritual liberation begins with AWARENESS. Deliberately and consciously live in the awareness every day that ‘ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW’. Every day begins with a new you and new things!

WORD CONFESSION

I am an evidence that Jesus Christ is at alive and at work. I declare this day that I am a new creature, old things have passed away and all things have become new in my life. I declare that I am led in a triumphal procession throughout today and this coming week in Jesus name

PRAYER POINTS

*Father of mercy, thank you for your faithfulness over my life and destiny. Thank you for this new day in Jesus name.

*Father God, thank you for your power that is giving me and my family every day in Jesus name

*Father God, break the circle of spiritual failure in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, break the circle of financial failure in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, break the circle of marital failure in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, break the circle of career failure in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, break the circle of repeated ancestral problems in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, begin a new wave of wonders in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, let the blessing packaged into redemption begin to manifest in my life in Jesus name

*Father God, let the blood of Jesus begin to speak solutions into my life and destiny in Jesus name

*Father God, by the blood of Jesus, I invoke

Thank you Father For hearing and answering my prayers in Jesus name
